    Pit Bull - NOT RECOMMENDED
Of course, you can just use a motorcycle front wheel chock, if you just need the motorcycle to be upright to check the oil level.

Just bought an Abba stand for my 2022 CB1000R. Superb piece of kit, cannot recommend it highly enough (and no I am not connected to them in any way at all). Just buy one. Seriously. Thanks for the vid.

I'm still happy with mine 2 1/2 years later. I had a rear axle stand on my Hayabus and I was always terrified it would fall over getting it on and off. The Abba, with a 26" bar that sits on the ground, is very stable. Thank you for watching!

Appreciate the time and effort you took to demonstrate the abba stand.
Your video inspired me to make one that works in the same way with some materials i had lying around.
These types of stands are very stable , secure and allow working on either wheel without interfering in those area's.
had no idea those hollow shafts could be so useful in lifting the bike to work on it.
Even the sidestand returns in the correct position although i keep a close check on that when lowering the bike down.
    Love the new bike, cheers

I'm thinking about getting one for my black edition. How'd it work out for you?

ABBA STAND: Fit the 2 frame dies to the actual stand first with a bit of tape.
    Far easier, and way quicker.

Quick question. Are you able to remove the rear wheel using the R&G rear stand? I'm not sure if the piece you install on the right side of the wheel is absolutely needed or what. Thanks.

I believe that you could remove the right hand side piece. Of course the bike could then come off the stand to that side if the wheel snagged as you pulled it off. I found the stand a bit tippy and ordered a (Maxxhaul) Front Wheel Chock to use with the R&G stand. I then bought the Abba stand before it arrived. So I haven't really used the R&G stand much. If you are young and agile you might have no problem with it. I prefer something a bit more like a center stand that is removed when riding. It helps to have a center stand even for mundane stuff like looking at the oil level window.

I've read the pin for cb1000r 2018+ is too thin that's why there's limited options.

The pins for the ABBA stands are customized for each motorcycle. The left and right are different. I've been using the stand for 9 months so far and no problems. Using centrifugal force to defy gravity since 1969.

Does the abba stand implies to the front wheel as well to lift it? I have the 2018 model wich is same.

On my 2019 CB1000R the rear wheel is off the ground when on the stand. You can push the rear down and lift the front. I suspect that removing the front wheel would cause it to settle on the rear wheel. I haven't actually tried this. As you go to re-install the front wheel it would settle to the front again. You would probably want this to be a two person job the first time.

I owned my first used Honda CB motorcycle when the 1969 Honda CB750 came out. It was glorious! So this was my tribute to that bike, 50 years later. I bought decals on Ebay, but I just checked, and the original seller is no longer offering them. You can google "1969 Honda CB750K gas tank stripes" and find several. It was quite tricky putting them on due to the abrupt changes in the gas tank shape (indentations). No way it would go around the bends. I ended up cutting the decals into 4(?) pieces. It was quite tricky. I would copy the design onto a piece of paper and work out the geometry with scissors and painter's tape before cutting into the $50 decals. You might google around for current CB1000Rs with gold stripes. I seem to remember seeing a picture of one (but it wasn't exactly the same). I'm glad you like it.
