TM...I'm kicking myself for not buying this bike with the Black Friday pricing. I was too busy checking out other passenger kit e-bikes (Electric XP 3.0, Flyer M880, for example) The XR is back on sale but not the ST. This bike looks like the best choice with a passenger kit (for the grandkids). After you get it, let me know if it was everything you expected. My first and only e-bike (bought this past summer) unfortunately is an underpowered 250 watt e-bike. I just didn't want to spent a ton of money unless I knew I would use it and love it. Turns out, it has been one of the best things I ever bought. My 2 yr old granddaughter rides with me all the time (I bought a shotgun seat for her). She absolutely loves to go on bike rides with me. With the Cafe Cruiser, my older grandkids can enjoy rides too, with the passenger kit. I'm hoping for another sale. If not, I will buy one when it gets closer to Spring.
I prefer the left hand throttle. It's super quick to get used to and it keeps things simple...throttle left side, shifting right side. It just basically boils down to preference. It's definitely not a deal breaker if you are looking at getting this e-bike.
Totally agree! It's just one of those things that takes a few minutes of riding, and then you just forget about it. Definitely not a deal breaker at all, especially because if you HAD TO, you could just swap sides with it.
My buddy got one. I rode it around the block and said: "I gotta get one a dees." And I did. Helmet, chain lock, 120db horn, a top tube bag for my 9mm..
Hey Scott! Sorry for the delay here! You know I JUST got ahold of the Turris, and for the money, that might be one of the best Ebikes in this category this year. Not to make your decision tougher :P But, the Turris was super light, Class 3 power, and the geometry was excellent. I really did love the Cruiser, and so far I've been impressed with all the Ride1Up bikes I've gotten to ride! I haven't personally ridden the 700, but from what I can tell they would both offer a slightly different riding experience, and have a slightly different use case, but if the 700 is as quality as the 3 bikes I've personally ridden, then you probably would be pretty satisfied there.
I know it's been 6 months but.....Scott....I own both. Love them both a lot. I bought the CC because of the passenger kit to ride my grandkids (they love it). I bought the 700 for my wife (and for me riding solo). Both are very similar in top speed, quality, etc. IMO, I think the 700 is more "nimble." If you think you'll have passengers, get the CC. If you will always be riding solo? Ge the 700. IMO
Agree, I bought this ebike for my daughter, we get about 19-20 miles on throttle only, 23 on PAS 5. Bike is great, but doesn't have a ton of torque for hills
Just bought one. The quality is on another level. I got mine for $1249 through Black Friday sale, Latte white. Great review!
Now that's a heck of a steal! Yes, I was very impressed with the quality here!

Me too! My first e-bike. I cannot believe what I got for the price. Right now they are 1395 and I would still be thrilled at that price.
My town has lots of up and down hill. Do you suggest this bike?

I also prefer a left hand throttle, one of the reasons I bought both the cafe cruiser and the LMTD ebikes

Yeah the first impression of this one was pretty sweet! I'm super interested in the top tube bag for the 9mm. What did you get for that?
@@Ennovation Rock Brothers hard shell top tube bag
What is the throttle only unlocked speed?
Mine can reach 28 mph
I've been looking at this model and the 700 can't decide any input?

Great review!
Thanks Lars! I appreciate the compliment and you stopping by to support the channel :)
you could put a more aggressive tire on this to handle more rough terrain
For sure! If you were gonna be doing a lot of cruising on dirt, that might be a worthwhile upgrade.
I like it a lot. Looks great and performance looks great, but the range is very lacking.
Yeah the range is a bit on the lower side. If this thing had a 21ah+ battery in it, oh man!
@@Ennovation I ended up buying it anyway haha. Haven't had the time to do a good range test yet but very happy with it so far

@@AP-go1ks I lived on hills when I had it. Definitely struggled up some hills. Even with the assist I would still have a good workout
its a 500 watt Bafang motor with 750 sustained power
Peeks at over 840
*angry european noises* i have to get one of these
Hahaha they’re pretty cool bikes and really good value for the piece in my opinion.
Milkcrate 😂
You don’t milkcrate bro?? ;)
How did he know that the car driver in front of him was watching Netflix on his phone.. frankly this is how road rage starts
He job must be to drink and know things! Crazy ability.
