if the song is not original recorded in 432 you wont ear the difference (or at least of you have the master tracks), you only would be listening the little difference of the pitch down, not the harmonics, so no magic effect of the 432 tuning here, so i still prefer the 440 tuning.
I think it is to deal with copyright, I guess. all the other instrumentals from Periphery Self-Titled were deleted for copyright (I mean the black cover ones).
the fact that humans can hear 8 hz of difference is crazy to me but this feels so wrong too maybe because ive listened to this song for nearly 200 hours
At 3:30 I did some altering with a wave/pitch/frequency modulator. I always thought this song was very peculiar. It's on my soundcloud if you want to listen to it. It's "periphery - posterity"
I don't really care about the frequency, but MY GOD how much better this sounds without the vocals! I understand this style of singing is in the genre, but it's just not my thing. Thanks for the upload, Themire!
I can't stand the whole album with vocals either, they give idea of being forced on the material, whole first album is in instrumental version on spotify as well!
@@Lansver I agree, these songs were originally on the soundclick as instrumental demos and weren't really written with the thought of lyrics being involved. I definitely think the later records sound alot better with vocals, one because they are written with them in mind and secondly because Spencer actually knows how to sing now.
Always hated spencers vocals in the early days. The thing to understand is that as mentioned they weren't written for vocals, and frankly, I don't think he was fully in his voice yet. I think he has done some INCREDIBLE work on later albums. Like seriously, for years and years I would pass on anything with him on it. And then I heard his vocals on Reptile... and then I went back to albums before that. Man, he improved a whole lot, even on Periphery II.
Dude yah!!!! It sounds so circular in my ears. It's like I'm not hearing it but feeling the outer circle of the sound, resonating in a way. Such a difference. DAMN!!! Thank you! I'm going to convert everything now.
@@richarddixon4359 the solution is to learn guitar, tune yours to 432, and play along to this. The recording may not be on point, but your own playing will be, and thus the tones and harmonics you hear being produced from the Amplifier. The Instrumental as a Backing Track and your own playing should be transcendental enough for someone who's just learning the importance of frequency and vibration.
I love Spencer's vocals in pretty much any Periphery song but this song is just better instrumental. I've listened to this version so many times it seems weird listening to it with vocals now.
I heard a lot of Mozart as a young kid, so 432Hz is nostalgic. However, it's still a bit too flat sounding to me, personally. Though, on the other hand, I also always hated using a tuner when tuning my guitar, because it always too sharp sounding when it said it was in tune. Now I know it's because it's tuned to 440Hz. I'd assume I typically prefer something floating around 436Hz when I make music. P.S. - The whole "the nazis introduced it to induce stress and make sheeple of us" crap is not true, so don't get worked up. lol

To me, this is probably the one of the best instrumental songs in the world.
No doubt
InstaBlaster...
It's not instrumental though
@@behindthen0thing where are vocals? I think this song is clearly instrumental

This is gold.

This album still the 🐐
greatest song in the world
Ahhhhh yesssss the rhythmic section stands out nicely on this one.
Always preferred the BULB (Superior Drummer) versions. (Pre vocals)
If you're referring to the 2008 and earlier misha recordings I believe most of those if not all were recorded with drum machines
SloppyChrisCovers exactly! company called Toontrack created a plugin called “EZ and Superior Drummer” and he mapped out the drumming.
this was exactly actually triggered by matt. not programmed.
@@NUWAVEDRIP Yes I know I was referring to the the pre periphery demos when it was just Misha doing his solo thing

Instrumental > vocalist trying for screams/doing random cleans in metal
If I was a villian in an anime I would want 2:28 to be my theme.

Could these guys really play this tightly or is it likely quantized? 🤔

Unpopular opinion: This song loses a lot of impact without the vocals, particularly the ending "I SEE LIIIIIGGHHHT!" brings a tear to my eye everytime

don't underestimate the difference 8Hz could make lol
You can hear it, but there is no difference other than the fact that the pitch is lower lmao
Why was my like from last night not recorded? UA-cam is bullshit.
