Periphery - Racecar (Instrumental) [432 Hz]
If you got no idea about the deal with the 432 Hz, I send you here :
www.ultimate-guitar.com/columns/music_theory/432hz_crazy_theory_or_crazy_fact.html
This guy explains it all and mentions this song. I found it weird to not be here, so I upload it converted to 432 Hz for your convinience and comparision. Don't get it confused with Pythagorean tuning, which is kinda different thing. This is just about 432 Hz being a reference pitch for tuning. This pitch has been varying over the years and has been settled down to 440 Hz in the XX century. 432 Hz is supposed to be this special, ideal pitch in harmony with whole universe. You can also see the number 432 being a topic of various discussions and all. It's interesting.
Personally I can feel the difference, this song might not be the perfect example of it, but still recordings seem to be warmer, more natural and I can listen to them for a longer time. I will upload some more 432 Hz music to show it better.
If any of you is into the subject, feels the difference, tuned a guitar into 432 Hz, or doesn't see what's the deal here, post your opinions, I'm curious.
This is not meant to be a copyrights infrindgement, this purely for seeing the difference between the original and changed, by me, version and making up own opinion about the subject.

The most funny thing I've done lately. Done in 4 hours sitting straight with Schecter Omen 7 2012, stock pickups, Lepou plugins, Yamaha BB405 bass, Superior Drummer, tons of production plugins and poof. No guitar pro, no virtual guitars, pure me, so you could hear my lack of guitar skills :o It sounds beast. It's my original song and I claim all the rights to it. The art is "Heaven or Hell" by ...

A melodic, bit mysterious, quite fresh-sounding composition. It's main theme riff was inspirated by the song "For You" by My Dying Bride. One of my best sounds around, but has some little cracking I couldn't get rid of (it was made by amplitube's rotary effect). I hope it won't crush your headphones, it adds a bit vintage effect, lol. I hope you enjoy it. The art is "The Darkness" by Camaryn, I...

"Compose a Track" Contest Entry - Asthenia.

Watch in HD, lazycake. Well... this one is... baffling. I had really hard time making a song for this contest for real, since I got my time shortened by my university stuff. Creating a song was okay, but to make it quite consistent... not really. Enough of justifying myself. What I wanted to create was a soft track with a snowball effect. As the snowball rolls down, it grows, so the riffs start...

I developed it later and after four mixing attempts I managed to make it sound the way I wanted. Well, here's another shorty in the wave of my GP6 renaissance. I find it pretty weird, but I enjoy listening to it a lot. The first part reminds me kinda of some space things, that's why the theme is quite cosmic, but overall it was supposed to be progressive song. I just changed the whole concept in the middle of it, I do a lot of that. I don't know If I will ever try to do something with it f...

That's a small interlude using only pianos and synths. It's really short, but it's special for me and I find it a kind of breakthrough in my songwriting. I hope you enjoy it as much as me everytime when I listen to it. The song is pretty simple. I think that I the last part of chords is a small subconcious borrowing from Agalloch's "Not Unlike the Waves". At least it's just reminds me of it. Ar...

Always hated spencers vocals in the early days. The thing to understand is that as mentioned they weren't written for vocals, and frankly, I don't think he was fully in his voice yet. I think he has done some INCREDIBLE work on later albums. Like seriously, for years and years I would pass on anything with him on it. And then I heard his vocals on Reptile... and then I went back to albums before that. Man, he improved a whole lot, even on Periphery II.

I heard a lot of Mozart as a young kid, so 432Hz is nostalgic. However, it's still a bit too flat sounding to me, personally. Though, on the other hand, I also always hated using a tuner when tuning my guitar, because it always too sharp sounding when it said it was in tune. Now I know it's because it's tuned to 440Hz. I'd assume I typically prefer something floating around 436Hz when I make music. P.S. - The whole "the nazis introduced it to induce stress and make sheeple of us" crap is not true, so don't get worked up. lol
