Eloy brought an invigorating energy to Slipknot, looking forward to a new CD with Eloy's contribution. Remembering that Eloy was responsible for making Sepultura raise its level of composition when he was in Sepultura, he has a lot of Brazilian musicality and complexity and brutal energy!

@@alltheserobotsshallfall I was... and Eloy brought so much to sepultura. All the people that have their mouths on max and igors nuts need to re-listen to the last few sepultura albums. Better than anything that hobo and his brother have done in years. Soulfly sucks shit too.
There's a Brazilian band called Gloria that is from the metalcore genre, it is the band that Eloy was in before going to Sepultura. Of course not everyone will enjoy it because they sing in Portuguese but Eloy did an excellent job there with the album Renascido and it's interesting to see Eloy's track record.

Here in the midwestern States we'd call those coveralls or just jumpsuits. The thicker the material, the more likely someone would call it coveralls, and the lighter the fabric it's more likely called a jumpsuit. When most people in this area say overalls they're likely referring to the denim things with shoulder straps that you see farmers wear.

We know Joey has had his battles but it feels like slipknot has a collection of drummers who's not as good as Joey, Jay or Eloy and have been cruel to their drummers because they expect something better than they can do themselves
@@hewiebecker6165 Eloy is waaaaay better than joey. This is not a fan speaking, but a drummer. And that's just the reality. Joey was super creative and Jay is also a great drummer. But Eloy is just in a another level. Check the 2023 tam tam festival... you will see for yourself.

@@st.peterunner8758 Nah, I agree. Filming at shows sucks. You should be jumping around and moshing. If everyone stands around watching the show through their screens, it makes the show worse for everyone else, including the band.

If you are more worried about someone filming, then you're clearly not invested in the show yourself.
Maybe if they are standing in your way, I might agree with you. But, if you're moshing you can just push right past them anyway, so......
People act like you can't do both and still enjoy the show lol get over yourself.

My point is that the more people are just standing around like zombies, the more difficult it is to get good moshpits going.
They're called coveralls, not overalls.
I guess they say it like that in Scandinavia. We also say "Overall" in Germany.
@@FrancoW1 No, they are two different things. Overalls have suspender straps and you wear this "over" your clothes, Coveralls completely cover you and your clothes, hence the name.
@@JediCrackSmokewhat you're referring to is just specifically American semantics. Ola is not a native speaker and most non native speakers, specifically Europeans, Australians and South Africans such as myself still defer to British English more than American English.
I was kind of hoping it would be EG, but also hoping he wouldn't have to get into the dumpster fire that Slipknot seems to be.

The percussion guys are really bad! They can't get into a rhythmic groove with Eloy Casagrande.
Nope. Eloy couldnt. Not the percussions fault. Ive asked multiple drummer friends, something sounded off, he was messing up a few things. BUT for a first performance he is a beast, and I can't wait to hear more from him.

@@AyoDoesWT Eloy is way better than Joey. Joey couldn't pull off the kick drum explosion on Heretic Anthem live....always pittered out at the end...Eloy nailed it on his first live performance. Eloy is above Jay and Joey.
Why don't they just say "Hey, this is our new drummer Eloy" instead of attempting to be so secretive?? Everyone already knew anyway and nobody really cares.
You don't mind, I do, I think Slipknot has now found a worthy drummer to take Joey's place.
"Everyone already knew"... and still they were able to generate a lot of attention just by Not mentioning his name.
It's just about creating expectation, and Slipknot has done it right.
