🍛 What is a chicken drumstick curry?
Chicken drumstick curry is a dish which originates from the Indian subcontinent, but is popular throughout South East Asia and also in the UK. Whilst you may find some variations, we are following a traditional recipe which includes onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, and various spices, so that the chicken drumsticks soak up all that flavour and make for a truly mouthwatering meal.
🔥 Is it spicy?
As you can see in this video, we do use a few spices in this curry, but we would not class it as overly spicy. Instead we would say that it has a rich, warming flavour.

I usually make this for myself and my partner but she's away at the moment. I made the same quantities, but what was left, I cooked the rice in with the drumstick curry and reheated it the next day as a kind of Biryani. Came out lovely.

Made this tonight for me and my wife. Was beautiful. Used boneless chicken thighs instead of drumsticks and used 1 TBS of chilli powder and 1 of curry powder

Absolutely fantastic to see you back , your recipes are brilliant ! Is the aluminium pot necessary or is a non stick pot ok ? Also could you add more onion half way thru to add a crunch ?
You can but i normally add 3 mins before end of cooking. . ..
