No advisor won't do that. It's pretty much up to us techs to decide if we see that "hey this will break" and let the advisor know before we continue with the job this will break and if the customer says go ahead they know and approve it. The majority of the time with plastic I will be able to tell if something is going to break or not and ways around removing old plastic such as removing it at the clip with a trim tool rather putting pressure on the plastic itself so it won't break.
