For the last step I have the series S so I held the paring button witch is the small black button under the Xbox button and I held them both for 20 Seconds and something popped up and disappeared and then I did it 2 more times the. It worked this guy is Litrally a life saver
OMG dude THANK YOU SO MUCH. Xbox told me I needed to service my Xbox and I literally tried the first step that you mentioned and advised switching the ends of the cables. I did that and moved to a different HDMI port and it started working again. These things are magic boxes that do what they want. Thank you thank you thank you
For everyone going through this right now I feel your struggle .. check the pins of your HDMI. one of mine was sideways and I swapped cables... Bam,it works...
@ThySammySoul same, I send my to fix it in my local area the warranty wad for 3 months and during those 3 months the console work fine but now I back with this problem

This worked for me, but only after I reset my console via the USB reset method. Once I did that, I was able to get my Xbox to work again.
