Finding an accountability buddy has been one of THE MOST helpful things I've done for my mental health this year. @@TheBlissBean my accountability buddy has been my friend who is also a design student and stayed at home from college. in the beginning, we were both doing personal design projects, so we used check ins as a way to get feedback on our designs and just hold each other accountable to meeting milestones. we also just supported each other through internship recruitment, as well as just ranting or chatting about any struggles or wins that we had that week. we never really had a set schedule, it's just been super nice being able to check in every week, since i have been at home for the last year and dont talk to that many people!

I've always had accountability buddies while growing up (to the gym, for studying, doing group projects) and it's definitely something that makes anything that's work/task-related a lot more interactive and therefore smoother for both parties. Side note, you're gorgeous!

Love the vid, very comprehensive. Got myself a buddy for waking up at 4:30 for October. It has worked like magic. Will be adding a discipline for November. Didn't have much of history with this guy so we didn't drag in any baggage into the challenge. Truly been an eye opener. Highly recommended.

Ahhhh I love this video! I've been looking for an accountability buddy for so long, but most of the people I connect with aren't super motivated long-term. Usually it fizzles out. Hopefully this (wonderful) advice helps!

Yes! Having an accountability buddy can be very helpful. You both can help inspire each other. It’s most helpful having someone who shares a common goal :) that’s pretty cool there’s an app for that.

This video is what I needed for a long time and just didn't know. I really need an accountability buddy for scheduling time to work together, revise the week, check in daily and just sharing how I feel about everything. I'm studying Journalism and Media Studies and doing my thesis now so it's a crucial time for me. Also, I just started to take care of myself by doing exercise and going to therapy. I would be amazing if my buddy is in European time so we can really keep up. Said that, I'm open to anyone who is very organized and energetic (sometimes I'm the opposite) to be my buddy :)

Everyone is different, but weekly sounds like a good timescale to me. Too much can happen in a month. And there's too much opportunity to let things slide back to the point of no return. Likewise, if you're struggling with time management? Having a daily check in, on top of everything else you have to fit into your day, might be a bit much.

Android user, I'm 25 and soon to be first time mom in November. Cannot make myself do house chores, cooking, and favor delivery. It's gotten bad. Looking for another female to take this a step further and basically SKYPE/VIDEO CHAT all day and night until our tasks are done. I will stay with you no matter how long it takes. I want to ensure we stick to it and everything gets accomplished for the day. If you study most of the time that works too, just need someone there to give and receive the attitude of, "We are doing this, NOW." I am positive but also strict. Try to pick a partner that is about equal to you in skill and status. A person that has a million dollar business probably won't want to partner up with a guy that's a one-man show as he has less gems of knowledge to share. I had an accountability partner that had no money and was trying to start an online coaching business. I met him through a networking group. He knew I had an online business so he was trying to latch on to me for free info. He spent his last $$$$ on a training course to start an online biz and tried dangling that in front of me, saying that I can take the course with him for free. It was clear to me after a few meetings that I wasn't going to learn much from him so I canned the meetings.
