It's better to be in harmony. It's like: I like olives and pineapple on pizza, but my partner likes mushroom and pepperoni. We both like pizza but like it different ways. But we have to also enjoy each other's pizza's too.

I would love that myself... My goal is to become a groom for an outfit like that, not even a head groom or anything, I don't care, I just want to spend my days as close to the horses as possible, caring for them in the best way possible. That is my dream... Well, my DREAM is to be a talented rider, but that ship sailed at least 15 years ago. If I could have started in my teens I might, just might, be showing at low levels now, but at this rate I will be far too old, if my old body can even learn properly. I will do this if it kills me, though, and if it does at least I will die happy and fulfilled... And that's more than I can say for any other aspect of my life, haha. Sorry for the rambles!😳

It's absolutely amazing how many relationship and personality expert have watched the video. After only 8 minutes, many of them have figured it out and made their predictions. Karl's unease in front of the camera was obvious. Personally, I love the type of personality Kaley has.
I really think that these two people and the way they ride and treat their horses are the best answer to the question if riding is cruel: NO! I love how relaxed their horses are acting. You can feel the love there for these animals. Please don't change and keep on riding, loving and fighting! I wish them all the best!!!
She was NOT ditzy but self deprecating being humorous and he really seemed like he puts her down and is very serious. I’m hoping that it’s better than this off camera. No one should have to work hard for affection in a marriage
Those two look like normal minis and they are the meanest little things sometimes. She said that they ALSO work with a rescue that handles minis with dwarfism. They do have loads of physical issues, which is why she said they are not pets.
Miniature horses and dwarf ponies are VERY different. Miniatures are proportioned exactly like a horse, only shrunk down, and are a breed while dwarf ponies are a genetic disorder. Neither are just pets, and you still need to know the correct ways to care for them. I'm glad she mentioned that dwarf ponies need special care and often have health problems, most people aren't aware of that. My miniatures are show horses just as much as his warmbloods are, so it's good to make the distinction between the two

Little bit ironic, they also keep a bulldog, this breed is also a genetic mess. Both the dog and the ponies have achondroplasia a disease causing bone growth disorder. Most of these "dwarf" ponies are crippled. Make sure you don't perpetuate suffering by creating a demand for these breeds of dogs (and horses) by buying one. All extremes be they big or small tend to have problems.
A trainer told me many years ago the bit is only as cruel as the hands holding the reins. That said, I bought a TWH from a show barn and was given his bridle because that owner said I'd need it. I never used it on my now very senior and retired trail horse. It wasn't just the broken, double-twisted wire mouthpiece and the 8" shanks that made me sick, but the studs on the inside of the noseband just pissed me off. That someone would think those things are okay to use on a horse is disgusting. I wanted to tell the old guy to maybe spend more time training and less time trying to find "stuff" to force what you can't teach because you lack the skill. That horse is the best horse I've ever had. Ever.
I have heard that statement, "only as cruel as the hands holding the reins"...but, some of that giant shank bits give me "pause"....just saying... that mechanical action applies lots of pressure to the horse with very little pressure from the rider's hands.... just saying.
My first horse was a former royal-bred TWH who was rescued from what could have been a short and cruel life in a "Big Lick" show barn that employed soring, head-tying, beating, and other abusive methods that some idiots still vigorously defend. I took off his tank shoes, put him in a snaffle, and never carried a crop. He was the best trail horse ever and took care of me until he left for greener pastures. Walkers rock.

I have always loved horses especially extremely awesome show horses. Wow this is such of an amazing place. Beautiful architecture and oh my the interior of the barn. The horse stalls are incredibly well designed for traffic flow of equine, people and at times needed machinery. Very well done video with a fantastic down to earth appeal to us the viewers. Hopefully we will see more upcoming sessions of artful horse play. The property seems like a gem of a place to relax, ride and enjoy the natural wonder and beauty of all your animals. I’m glad he mentioned hill work. I’m moving to Orlando temporarily and can’t wait to move back to New England, away from completely flat Florida. Hill work is great for conditioning
A couple summers ago, I boarded with a woman from California (I am in CT) who used to board at one of the barns on that property before she moved herself and her horses to Connecticut. She had met Kaley and her mother several times. She had nothing but good things to say about them. I am no longer at the barn where she boards here in New England, but it was fun to know my horse lived for a short time with horses that resided near Kaley's horses. At 26 years old, my Paint is still doing well (knock on barn wood). Part of what keeps my horse doing well is 24/7 free choice hay/forage (which prevents ulcers and bad habits such as cribbing and wood chewing). No grain, only a balancer. As he has Cushings/Insulin Resistance, he cannot have grass or sugary treats. He is on meds and several supplements. As a writer of horse care in an unnatural world (horses aren't made to be in boxes), I have found that most horses in high-end barns do not receive the proper amount of forage, and too much grain. Do your horses a favor and offer free choice forage (their digestive system requires it) and only grain they NEED. A good forage diet with a balancer will suit most horses. Remember... horses don't care how fancy a barn is... Only that their instinctual needs are met. (WiFi... really? We have none... I have to go outside to get a 4G signal). lol
Beautiful layout and so well organized/efficient. I aspire to that. My barn has only 2 stalls however and a donkey who has taken over the cubby for the tractor. We have done rescue for “retired” thoroughbreds in the past. Otherwise it’s lots of birds because besides horses, I love birds.

He has set up a well organized barn to care for all of his horses. First class all the way and nice to see she is taking care of the rescue horses. Great to see money being well used and enjoyed for the sake of others.
Kaley is my absolute favorite actress/comedian. I never get tired of her goofy and giddy self. I think they are perfect together.He is the perfect straight man for her. The guy is obviously quite intelligent and she is smart also. I really like how they work together. It sure would be nice to live and work on a ranch like that one.
I rode racehorses in Del Mar. Very close to this stable. I met Kaley years ago at the X games in Los Angeles. She is sweet to talk too. I am loving this tour.
They have the money to give their animals first class care - good for them! I wish all animals could have the top notch life these horses and dogs have. They obviously love their horses very much!

Kaley, my husband watches The Big Bang Theory every single day, there are days I actually say to him that I'm a bit tired of hearing Sheldon's voice.... Me? Well I love the show, but more importantly I love animals. I just began volunteering at a donkey sanctuary in Roseneath, Ontario, Canada. The Primrose Donkey Sanctuary, named after Primrose the donkey who passed away recently. Yes I know, you likely receive many requests for assistance, and this is one more for you to consider. Mini-horses, mini/standard/ and one (1) mammoth donkey, mules, two pot-belly bigs, one goat, a sheep, and approximately 10 cats.....

Beautiful layout and so well organized/efficient. I aspire to that. My barn has only 2 stalls however and a donkey who has taken over the cubby for the tractor. We have done rescue for “retired” thoroughbreds in the past. Otherwise it’s lots of birds because besides horses, I love birds.
Only true fans can judge how their relationship dynamics are. Very goofy and cute. You know what I mean if you watch Kaley's cup of cucou or Karl's walking and talking collab with cup of cucou 🤣

Wow they are such polar opposites, Kaley is lively and giddy, he’s pretty miserable and serious.
He has set up a well organized barn to care for all of his horses. First class all the way and nice to see she is taking care of the rescue horses. Great to see money being well used and enjoyed for the sake of others.
Kaley is my absolute favorite actress/comedian. I never get tired of her goofy and giddy self. I think they are perfect together.He is the perfect straight man for her. The guy is obviously quite intelligent and she is smart also. I really like how they work together. It sure would be nice to live and work on a ranch like that one.
I rode racehorses in Del Mar. Very close to this stable. I met Kaley years ago at the X games in Los Angeles. She is sweet to talk too. I am loving this tour.
