Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 22 (soon to be 23 in January), Pau, drummer 20, and Ale, bassist 18 as of December 13. They just came off a North American tour of 103 gigs in Mexico, US, and Canada. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. At home they are humble down to earth individuals. This is the best power trio of today worldwide.
Ale can also play the saxophone. They were in the same school orchestra and it has neither bass nor guitar. Pau was lazy and did percusion. No idea what exactly.

This was actually uploaded because the file was too big to directly send to their grandparents. These were the second instruments they picked up after the piano. This year they opened for the Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses, toured with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and then did a Canadian tour with Three Days Grace. The Warning was invited by Metallica, along with Alessia Cara, to record their own version of a Metallica song to be included on their Blacklist album. They had a 1-week deadline to record this song from start to finish, and they smashed it. This was all done during the pandemic, so the collaboration between the girls was all done via Zoom. A note about this video is that the girls uploaded themselves on youtube, intending for it to be watched only by friends and family. Now, after 24M views, it was a great decision. They had no idea it would be viewed worldwide. Great songs to check out within a time frame to see them develop would be Free Falling. This song was included in the video game Rock band that started off the girls playing their respective instruments. This was the first song written by all 3 sisters together. Next up, do a reaction to tedX 2017. It is a 18 minute video that includes 3 songs. Unmendable, when I'm alone and the great song Survive. In between songs they will talk about their journey in music as The Warning. A great video. Their next album was a concept album called Queen of the murder scene. A masterpiece written by teenagers. The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 22) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to UA-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on UA-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. You have no idea what you have stumbled in to. These sisters are the present and future of rock. After an EP and 2 full albums of amazing originals, they are now the first ever Latin American band signed directly to a major US record label (Lava/Republic Records). They released their third album in June (first with Lava) and toured and played 100+ live shows this year. Their music is infectious, as are their wonderful personalities. These young ladies are poised to take over the rock world. Pick any song in their catalog and you won't be disappointed! Future Legends!

Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning Jesse. This is a good place to start with the video that started it all. They were just recording these videos to send to their grandparents but the files were too big so they uploaded them to UA-cam and just sent them a link. This one obviously went viral with over 20 mil views, got comments from members of Metallica, and got them invited to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres show where they were gifted scholarships to the 6 week program at The Berklee College of Music. After that they started writing their own songs with their first EP Escape the Mind which was followed shortly by the XXI Blood LP. If you want to get a really good insight into them as a band at that age I would recommend checking out the You Have Been Warned TedX talk they did where they played 3 songs of the XXI Blood album also talked about record labels approaching them at that age and why they turned them down to stay independent. Their next album in 2017 as independent artists is Queen of the Murder Scene which is actually a masterpiece of a concept album that has withstood the test of time thus far. By the start of 2020 they had just signed with Lava Records and were preparing to embark on their first major tour of the US when Covid hit and shifted their plans to recording their latest album Error. That was released in tow parts with the first 6 songs released on the Mayday EP in late 2021 followed by the full album in the spring of 2022 which was produced by David Bendeth. 🗣 Great reaction Jesse! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who live in Monterrey, Mexico. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 22, 20 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Man, you have to do a then and now. Dany’s vocals have matured beyond belief and she can shred. Pau is a monster on the drums and has a beautiful voice in her own right. You wouldn’t recognize Ale. She has grown into a talented and beautiful young lady. They all play piano in addition to their primary instrument and sing backing or lead vocals. Imagine being that young and that instrumentally and vocally gifted and doing it in multiple languages.

The 2 youngest were mad at their older sister because the 2 days before they shot this they were practicing hard and the oldest sister just sat there practicing her angry James Hettfield face. This summer they visited the MTV music studio in Mexico and filmed a reaction video of them watching this.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 22 (soon to be 23 in January), Pau, drummer 20, and Ale, bassist 18 as of December 13. They just came off a North American tour of 103 gigs in Mexico, US, and Canada. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. At home they are humble down to earth individuals. This is the best power trio of today worldwide.
Ale can also play the saxophone. They were in the same school orchestra and it has neither bass nor guitar. Pau was lazy and did percusion. No idea what exactly.

Before they had a band name their mother called Monny suggested that they be called the Peppermints and one or two others , until Pau the drummer came up with the name The Warning .Lots more to explore especially their school concert at the Liceo , the Dakota bar show and the Lunario concert , which showcased their concept album called Queen of the murder scene , cheers man .
This was actually uploaded because the file was too big to directly send to their grandparents. These were the second instruments they picked up after the piano. This year they opened for the Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses, toured with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and then did a Canadian tour with Three Days Grace. They have left that title behind and are now 3 very talented sisters who now have 40+ original songs. What is more amazing is the lyrical song writing aswell as their music composition. Remember, English is their second language, too.
You must check out Enter Sandman 2021. The Warning was invited by Metallica, along with Alessia Cara, to record their own version of a Metallica song to be included on their Blacklist album. They had a 1-week deadline to record this song from start to finish, and they smashed it. This was all done during the pandemic, so the collaboration between the girls was all done via Zoom.
A note about this video is that the girls uploaded themselves on youtube, intending for it to be watched only by friends and family. Now, after 24M views, it was a great decision.
They had no idea it would be viewed worldwide.
Great songs to check out within a time frame to see them develop would be Free Falling. This song was included in the video game Rock band that started off the girls playing their respective instruments. This was the first song written by all 3 sisters together.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 22) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to UA-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, UA-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on UA-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...

After an EP and 2 full albums of amazing originals, they are now the first ever Latin American band signed directly to a major US record label (Lava/Republic Records). They released their third album in June (first with Lava) and toured and played 100+ live shows this year. Their music is infectious, as are their wonderful personalities. Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning Jesse. This is a good place to start with the video that started it all. They were just recording these videos to send to their grandparents but the files were too big so they uploaded them to UA-cam and just sent them a link. This one obviously went viral with over 20 mil views, got comments from members of Metallica, and got them invited to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres show where they were gifted scholarships to the 6 week program at The Berklee College of Music. After that they started writing their own songs with their first EP Escape the Mind which was followed shortly by the XXI Blood LP. If you want to get a really good insight into them as a band at that age I would recommend checking out the You Have Been Warned TedX talk they did where they played 3 songs of the XXI Blood album also talked about record labels approaching them at that age and why they turned them down to stay independent. Their next album in 2017 as independent artists is Queen of the Murder Scene which is actually a masterpiece of a concept album that has withstood the test of time thus far. By the start of 2020 they had just signed with Lava Records and were preparing to embark on their first major tour of the US when Covid hit and shifted their plans to recording their latest album Error. That was released in tow parts with the first 6 songs released on the Mayday EP in late 2021 followed by the full album in the spring of 2022 which was produced by David Bendeth. The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who live in Monterrey, Mexico. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 22, 20 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 2 more times during the 6 shows I attended on their recent North American MAYDAY Tour.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Correction Dear Sir... this video has over 23 MILLION views, not 1/2 a million! Metallica loved it so much they kept their eye on the girls all these years and asked them to be on their BLACKLIST ALBUM last year! and create their own version which is now considered a masterpiece.They just finished a major USA tour with HEALSTORM last year,, and then A full Canadian Tour opening for THREE DAYS GRACE. PLUS, they opened for GUNS & ROSES last month.
Enter Sandman by Metallica: a very good cover of The Warning, even though they were little, they already had great talent, today TW, they are the best rock trio, they are energy, passion and strength, the best live rock group, with time they will be legends of rock history
Their cover of the Foo Fighters The Pretender (out of the basement) is a great one to watch as is Metallica's Atlas Rise (at the Whiskey.) For their original songs try the 3 songs they did at their 2nd TedX Talk performance Unmendable, When I'm Alone and Survive then move on to Dust to Dust, Queen of the Murder Scene, Psychotic and then onto their newest work, Error, Evolve, Choke, Disciple and Amour, Revenent and 23. To name but a few.
Well, now I have to subscribe! Everyone has already made a lot of good comments and suggestions; I'd say your next video should be the more recent remake of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara. By the time The Warning got the invite to collaborate with Alessia for the 30th anniversary Blacklist album, they had only 1 week to create it - with Alessia stuck in Canada and The Warning stuck in Mexico due to Covid travel restrictions. I can all but guarantee you've never heard the song like this!

They all play piano in addition to their primary instrument and sing backing or lead vocals.
