Just coincidence that the shortest sister (in orange) has the highest voice (like the shortest pipes on the pipe organ have the highest pitch). She is Almira and easily qualifies as a soprano-coloratura. Absolutely out of this world! Everyone remembers how Celine Dion's rendition of 'All By Myself' took the song soaring way beyond the original version. Almira takes it a couple levels higher still. Celina on the left, the youngest has a crystal clear voice, perfect diction, and is the designated rapper of the group. She has a light and bright whistle note!!
Irene next to Celina is second eldest has the lowest range and an incredibly warm tone!! She is the bass most of their harmonies are built on and is the swagger and best dancer in the group!!!
Next is Almira, the eldest sister in the group!! She is one of the best female vocalist on the planet, the designated belted, and does world class whistle notes!!!!
Mylene on the right is second youngest!! She has been referred to as a musical genius!!! She constructs the sisters vocals and harmonies even though she has no formal training and can't read music!!! When asked how she does it she said she can hear her sisters voices in her head and knows where to put them!!!! She has been known to make her sisters tryout for parts!!!!
She has one of the most soulful voices, and yhe best growl I have ever heard!!!!

Their version of the Jackson Five's I'll be there on Wish 107.5 is the best I've heard and I was blessed to see the Jackson Five perform live!! It also helped me as they sing it in order from youngest to eldest. The only song they sang in that order until their recent original Tapat Sa'yo. God bless, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!

Great reaction Jesse. The sister on the far right, Mylene does all the arrangements for the group. She truly is a musical genius. They have been singing together for 20 plus years. They know each other so well a lot of those harmonies come naturally. She hears them in her head and does it all by ear cause she doesn’t even read music. Being true full blooded sisters gives them that blood harmony that’s so beautiful. You’ve just started down the 4th Impact rabbit hole. Believe it or not it just gets better.

Thanks Jesse another grat reaction. Taking on a Pentatonix song shows how confident these ladies are in their talent and how by making it their own shows their creativity. During the pandemic they supported themselves by have livestreams on the weekends, it was a delight to see them do performances like this at the drop of a hat. The livestreams should resume after the new year.

That's a great analogy to the pipes on the organ! Yes, that smile of Mylene's is like an accordion! Would you believe that these ladies did this on their first take. It's in the Wildgrass Studio, the largest in the Philippines, a favorite of theirs but one that they could scarcely afford then...but of course we don't hear any pressure to do it in one take. Hello Jesse. First thing, let me introduce the ladies to you, starting on the left;
Celina, youngest of the four and the designated Rapper of the group, she also does whistgle notes, who else does that? She could easily become the next Disney Princess or just as easily be a huge star on Broadway.
Irene, second oldest and the Swagger of the group, she is a dancer by heart and has choreographed some of their dances, she has also written and produced her own solo song, "Bakit Ikaw Pa Rin" ua-cam.com/video/4FGKUVJpGkU/v-deo.html
Almira, the eldest and the Leader of the group, whistle note specialist and arguably the finest female singer in the world today.
Mylene, second younest and the Vocal Arranger of the group, growls are her speciallty, not to mention her arrnagements are of the highest caliber, the way she can arrange songs to match each of the girls strengths is nothing short of amazing.
This song is hard enough to sing out of the gate, but to do much of it acapella has got to be extremely difficult. That little bit of guitar work was done by Mylene and added later.

Great reaction Jesse. I wasn't sure if at first you were going to like it because anytime someone mentions Pentatonics it is a very high bar that is set. i am happy that you enjoyed this version. With that said let me just say that only Almira (when she was a young girl) received any formal voice training. When she came home she tried to give her sisters some pointers for singing but for the most part the girls watch you tube and learn to sing that way. Mylene (on the far right) does their arrangements but doesn't know how to read music. All of this makes you appreciate the power of a Dream and hard work. That is why their fans are called Dreamers and one of the many reasons we love them. Speaking of arranging songs..I hope you react to their new song 'Tapat sa yo'-visualizer. The talents of these sisters go beyond just singing and performing. This video was made at a time in their lives where they did everything on their own. They produced, arranged, edited, scraped together the money to get the camera and sound crew, made their own costumes. They even went on to build their own sound and dance studio. They have recently signed with ShowBT and Sony music, but they still do a lot of their own productions. Loved your reaction and I'll be looking forward to more of these girls on your channel.
