Im so glad to see that someone else really gets as much as possible out of the can like I do. I always get irritated with the person doing the video when it looks like half the ingredients are left behind!
I am that way too ! There is a cooking segment on our local noon news weekdays and "Howard" is always leaving food in the little bowls! I am always yelling at people who do that.

Great recipe. A variation: Make chicken or turkey meatballs with ground chicken or turkey. My fave: 2 pounds ground turkey, one cup stuffing mix, two eggs, 1 Tbsp poultry seasoning, small chopped onion, one rib chopped celery, handful of dried cranberries, salt and pepper. Use instead of tenders. Love you Catherine.

Made this for dinner last night and my husband is a very picky eater...he loved it and said he would have it again....and it was simple to put together...had a side of broccoli on the side and it was the perfect throw together meal.

Made this today. I used cooked chicken and only cooked for thirty minutes before removing the foil for additional fifteen minutes to brown the cheese. It was delicious and my wife loved it too.

This recipe goes way back! I remember my grandmother making it back in the 60's when soup recipes first started! They have since added more ideas and options to this dish! Delicious!!

I remember my mother making something like this in the early 90’s (yes, I’m almost 40 yo) but it was always lacking something like vegetables… I add frozen veg to boost the fiber content 😊

I bought groceries yesterday which included ingredients for this redipe and two other recipes of yours. I'm serving this one tonight for my family.. i know they will love it. They all love rice, so this will be a winner. Thank you Catherine for all your easy to make recipes that have all been delicious. Keep up you great work. I appreciate it because I'm not good at choosing things to make, without you it would be the same standard thing I've always made. My family have commented how good your recipes are and for me to keep up with you!! It's dreary here in Texas today and we're under a winder warning alert, even calling my home. I hope they corrected all the grid problems we had last year which put thousands and thousands of people with no electricity. Thank you again, in Christian love to you, Linda from Texas.
I hope they have the grid problems fixed too. We loss power for about 4 days, it was so cold.
I remember these dishes. They really are good. We would change them sometimes when we just did not want to dirty anything else but wanted to get our veggies in there. Use like a pack of the cheese broc rice and chicken and toss in some chunks of broc in with it. It is a great pop in oven and get the homework or the next day started while your dinner is cooking.

Ground turkey, some soy sauce, a little canned milk, some fancy cheese with American, garlic powder I've mentioned as as well as using chicken broth with cream of chicken, sour cream, stuffing on top
