As a child I tried to stay awake until the show started but after 9pm I would fall asleep. So glad to see the ones I missed - Always loved "One Step Beyond." So glad to see new individuals coming to watch these episodes. They were wonderful and still are after so many years! Thanks to the person who uploaded these episodes!
True true. Serling, a great, unappreciated writer. OSB as entrancing as the prehistoric fires around which our progenitors gathered. No need for empty spectacle. Human stories with human, incredibly expressive faces and voices, few of today's so-called actors (mostly male and female models, professional athletes, and singers) have the ability, talent, or training to pull off.
I've Always loved watching old programs with my mom but tbh I never knew nor heard of this series. I'm surprised due to the fact I love twilight zone and outer limits. I'm grateful for whomever decided to put them out again for those of us just discovering it. Thank you
I've been watching these episodes over and over again, I really love this program...John Newland is great and I love the background music it's so weird and spooky.
There could not have been a better host for One Step Beyond than John Newland. And, once again, for sheer entertainment value- with a hearty helping of possibility thrown in- NOTHING beats One Step Beyond. Thank you for making these shows available.
What an enormous undertaking, I couldn't imagine being tasked with cleaning up all that destruction. Another great one, I sometimes can't think of the right superlatives
Hard to recall when we'd have to wait an entire week to see our favorite programs. This was one that was a bit before my time - mighty grateful for the the uploads. Some terrific writing on these - in addition to great theatre actors making early TV a better experience for all. Props to Newman for his good work, too. ✨
Thank you for adding all the episodes! I bought a dvd set that included 70 episodes. I’ve been using this channel to watch the 27 episodes I’m missing!
One-Step-Beyond I have seen some of these already from other uploads, but had seen them all, so glad to find some ones I haven't already seen. John Newland was great.
7-19-23. Saw your message today. Two years later and the world is thinking even less. It's not a requirement any more. Just being loud and/or stupid is the choice for the ignorant masses.
@Ursula Painter: But it also has to be said (every once in a while) that it's not just the writer doing the writing but the viewer doing the viewing . . . that makes this what it is. The virtues of this episode are opaque to most people under the age of 50 today . . .
I've loved Twilight Zone for over 30 years, to find this show is a gift! Thank you! Where else would I even know it existed with your UA-cam channel? I haven't seen a bad episode yet. 🤗
Well . . . we can't promise that every episode will be a good one. But here's a ratings list to help you navigate good and bad: ua-cam.com/video/IwBSsLcsCJs/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for putting up these great old programs!! So great to see them again. I don't know if you found some clearer prints or figured out a way to clean up these episodes a bit, but they view great. I don't even have to wiggle the rabbit ears on my computer!
Well, interesting story. The thing is, finger prints can match up, a lot too. The way to find the truth of it is by how closely they examine the prints. Every detail MUST be looked at, and even then, mistakes can still be made by examiners, they're human too. I just googled this, some experts say 12 points similar is good, others say at least 20 points must match, well, I say the whole print should match, especially if your freedom is at risk.
Fingerprinting has been flawless for a long time now, and matching has been done by computer for a long time, as well. Twelve points is a one hundred percent match, or as close to this as it's possible to get. Any further points just means you are able to, basically, keep counting past the already positive match. Anyone who says more than twelve points are needed is either a defense attorney, or a suspect. Simply put, if there are ANY discrepancies in a print, that print will not reach a twelve point positive match. Simply put, the entire print you have does have to match. The simple fact is that if you leave your print at a crime scene, and there's a twelve point verification, you WERE there. Period. As I said, examiners now make no mistakes because humans no longer read the print. Computers do, and with a twelve point match, it's infallible.
@@jamesaritchie1 maybe, I'd like to know how many innocent people went to prison on that, or even death row. I'm no defense attorney, and I'm no suspect YET, but IF there were honest good hearted judges and prosecutors they would want convictions way beyond a " reasonable doubt " . Maybe someday YOU'LL be charged with a crime YOU DID NOT COMMIT, and you'll get first hand knowledge how corrupt the " system " is. The prosecution and all its cronies just want CONVICTIONS. Maybe that's why so many have been released from prison wrongly convicted. Oh, computers are only as good as the idiots that make them and design their fancy programs. Guess that's why they're never hacked, and ALWAYS function perfect.
The voice of the American rescuer (Peter Dyneley) seemed very familiar, then I realised he went on to be involved in more elaborate rescues as the voice of Jeff Tracy in Thunderbirds.
Anyone see the show on yu about people who look like twins but never met no relation either they say we could have up to 7 others who look just like you.
That's not true. Every fingerprint is different, even on identical twins, and this included thumb prints. Identical twins do have identical DNA, but fingerprints, including thumb prints, do not come from the DNA the twins share.
@@jamesaritchie1 A few years ago the police had to release an identical twin that was under suspicion of having done a Robbery. After reading your comment, I can see you are right, as I recall it was a glove that had been found on the scene of the crime. Therefore a DNA analysis had been made of it. Thanks for the correction
@Bruce McKenzie: About 20% are dramatizations of actual historical events: Lincoln assassination . . . Titanic sinking . . . Hood sinking . . . and Hawaii hurricane, for example. Another 20% or so . . . are dramatizations of legends or myths: "The Death Waltz", for example. And another 30% . . . are dramatizations of paranormal themes. The remaining 30% . . . are purely fictional.
Wonderful of you to take time to share. Seems you've made a lot of folks happy!!
It's only fair. My own life has been changed significantly by the many videos I've watched on UA-cam . . .
As a child I tried to stay awake until the show started but after 9pm I would fall asleep. So glad to see the ones I missed - Always loved "One Step Beyond." That happened to me a time or three!
I personally find most better than "Twilight Zone" or "The Outer Limits"
as I look to the right of my screen, I see there are many more episodes, bless you.

OSB and TZ will never be surpassed by any other TV show. No special effects, no computer graphics, just good, thought-provocking stories.

OSB and TZ will never be out done, simply the best.
Breaking Bad, Sopranos ...but I get your sentiment
I've Always loved watching old programs with my mom but tbh I never knew nor heard of this series. I'm surprised due to the fact I love twilight zone and outer limits. I'm grateful for whomever decided to put them out again for those of us just discovering it. Thank you
I'm 58 never heard of it before either. But I like it!!!
John Newland only needed to talk to send shivers through a person.
I've been watching these episodes over and over again, I really love this program...John Newland is great and I love the background music it's so weird and spooky.

Great, classic show. Still gives me goosebumps!
I love these types of shows. 🎉 thanks for the upload.

great actors
Your right, it is rare. I thought I've seen every one! But, this is new to me! Thanks! And it is a very good one!
You're welcome!
I love this show.
Very well done, thank-you OSB*
Thank you One-Step-Beyond for posting . Solid quality stories .
Thank you for adding all the episodes! I bought a dvd set that included 70 episodes. I’ve been using this channel to watch the 27 episodes I’m missing!
You're welcome!
I really Enjoy this show. So many different stories. Thank You
Thanks for these uploads- this is a great TV series.
Glad you're finding them worthwhile . . .
One-Step-Beyond I have seen some of these already from other uploads, but had seen them all, so glad to find some ones I haven't already seen. John Newland was great.
The Stranger is one of my favorites.
They never have anything interesting like this on tv anymore. “Scary” is now about gore or witchcraft, etc. Nothing to make people think.
7-19-23.
Saw your message today.
Two years later and the world is thinking even less.

Agreed. It seems that these new "scary" programs are simply instruction manuals for a would be crazy killer.
OBE? (Out of body experience?) Perhaps God had mercy on him and gave him a chance to redeem his soul, even at the end of his life?
I enjoyed this episode! Thanks for posting!
About 96 shows. I wish there were many more!!
very good series.🐈
It truly enjoy watching this show, it brings backs great memories..😅
Thank you so much for these uploads!
Thanks for the upload/ download of these great shows again thanks

Yes . . . these rarely seen episodes have been popular here. Isn't UA-cam just great (?)
I love this show, thank you for sharing
Wow, I’m watching this the day after Turkey’s two 7.5 magnitude earthquakes. I didn’t even think about disease from the dead bodies. God help them 🙏
thank you so much. Very inspirational.
Thanks this is rare , I watched the show when originally broadcast and in repeats and on dvds but I do not remember this episode !
Yes, we have all 96 episodes here . . . although some of them are not in such good shape, even after we've worked on them.
Remarkable episode. Great writing! Thank you.

Interesting story as usual for this series. Thank you for showing it. ❤❤❤
Glad you found it . . .
Thank you for posting, bingeing. Haven't seen them since they first showed 😊
Ah, lucky you . . .
Great freakin episode!!! /thanks, Ivette :}
It's worth repeating: "They don't make them like this any more . . .".
This used to scare the hell out of me along with Chiller Theatre
What is Chiller theater ? I like to watch if it is a series .
Great! Thank you

Thank-you for sharing,O.S.B.
Glad you found this channel . . .
Thanks so much for uploading all these great episodes! I love them!
Glad you found them . . .
No CGI, no Fx, Simple acting, ir is refreshing to watch 😊
Alcoa presents I remember the liquid aluminum being poured I'm being so amazed.
Seen it lately and it's dated but still I remember.
Yes. I remember! Thanks so much for this.
Extraordinary 🏆
This was an iconic series for me as a child . So it is both thought provoking and nostalgic for me ✌️
wow they keep getting better n better! this 1 was very weird.
It works emotionally . . . even though it's not quite clear exactly what's going on. Maybe like Life in general, I guess . . .
Incredible

This is 1958.
I recently started to show my girlfriend episodes of OSB now she's hooked on them.
The voice of the American rescuer (Peter Dyneley) seemed very familiar, then I realised he went on to be involved in more elaborate rescues as the voice of Jeff Tracy in Thunderbirds.
same thing happened to me once.
Did anyone recognise the voice of Mr Tracey from Thunderbirds?

4:10 credit to the writers . I was waiting , disconnect wires or not .
OMG - "Thunderbirds Are Go"!!
You might not be able to explain it, but there's all kinds of quacks out there who will.

Yes they can. Yes they can
How did that priest and kids survive for 12 days underground without food and water?

Is that a young Otis from the Andy Griffith Show??
Poor barber. Locked in with a murderer. And with cutting tools! Lol
So innocent back then.
are these based on true stories?

st about min. 5:+..scene of rescuers, is repeated?
@Juan Pelon: Yes, that's a problem -- thanks. It can't be fixed without deleting and re-uploading the video . . .
Who played Cole ? His eyes were Very odd looking ! Sort of like they had dark eye shadow around them. ??
increible .... pero sucede
Paradoxo Fermy ...
True story? I checked Find A Grave .com. No matches. Another mystery
No, none of these stories is true. This is television, remember. It's like the later "reality TV shows," none of which are what they purport to be.
