This entire album is astonishing and contains the magical nostalgia of the 70s. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the lyrical and melodic arrangements. It’s PERFECTION.
I'm still constantly replaying this album. The writing and arrangements are first class. Riley is a powerhouse and I just love the tone of Sam's voice. I grew up on Fleetwood Mac and this soundtrack fits right in
Stop comparing them to FM. They sound nothing like them & the show is NOT about them either. It was very loosely inspired by them but that’s as far as it goes. I grew up on FM and get so frustrated when people pretend they’re anything like them.

If one Daisy Jones fan find FM's music from this, then I think that is great and opens up Fleetwood Mac's music to a whole new bunch of listeners. Everyone’s talking about the low vocals, meanwhile I’m just over here vibing to my favourite song the album. Remember this is technically a 70’s album, which a lot of the time the songs had low vocal mixing in them. Anyway the second half of this song is sooo good! 😩
This song as absolute f'in perfection. From the vocals, especially the background vocals in the second half of the song, to the guitar. The second half really gives that 70's feel. Just wow. I've been rocking out to this album in my car! lol If they ever did a tour there would be a lot of sold out venues. I can't wait to see how this show does at the Emmy's and Grammys. To Riley, you're a rock star with a great voice. You should really consider doing more singing and releasing an album.

So great. Wish I could remix this to put Riley and Sam's vocals more on the top of the mix because they are really awesome singers. Also, how about Sam Claflin being english and singing in an American accent on top of everything else.
The guitar in the very beginning is just in the sweet suspenseful verge of distortion about to become a bit of a monster if you crank the volume up a little; but it's kept there played softly. Love it, guitar players will understand what I'm saying 😂

They got nominated and I thought it was the most impressive soundtrack, but nobody was going to beat Barbie this year. Also it's very rare for a tv show soundtrack to win.
Okay, so, even if this is supposed to be an album from the seventies. I swear I have heard songs from the 70s that have better mixing than this. I believe the mixing needs to be fixed Also, sometimes accuracy just doesn't help. The low vocals sound annoying to my ears tbh.
Her voice is pretty clear in her solo efforts (as Daisy) such as Two against Three and several that are on the tv series but not on the Aurora album: It was Always You, By Myself, Nobody Needs. The mixing is different from the rock tracks.
Plenty of acoustic tracks now out and parts of studio rehearsals, etc. where you can hear the quality of Riley's voice. It's solid. The mixing wasn't done to try to hide her voice.

Mixing for Riley's voice is awful. Can barely hear her on most of these tracks.
yeah, right? it's like they're insecure about her voice
ironic because in the book they had to lower the music a lot because they could barely hear the vocals.
Her voice is pretty clear in her solo efforts (as Daisy) such as Two against Three and several that are on the tv series but not on the Aurora album: It was Always You, By Myself, Nobody Needs. The mixing is different from the rock tracks.

Plenty of acoustic tracks now out and parts of studio rehearsals, etc. where you can hear the quality of Riley's voice. It's solid. The mixing wasn't done to try to hide her voice.
