This is art. The ability to capture reality or at least a version of reality and put it on canvas... Gives the viewer something they can comprehend and relate to the artist.
There's so much garbage out there. This is treasure.
Thank you so much, I'm humbled

I could feel the warmth of the sunlight touching the leaves. Such depth and dimension in a small canvas!
I'm captivated by the enchanting interplay of light and the incredible sense of depth in this painting. It draws me into a world where shadows dance and perspectives come alive. Chuck's skill in capturing the nuances of light is truly remarkable. It's a masterpiece that takes me on a visual journey, exploring the depths of the scene and evoking a profound sense of awe.

I watched this video on my way home... And the video and the painting made me feel home already 🤠. Sir, I feel lucky to be alive in the same time period as you, to be able to see you create magic through art, and we get to see the glimpse of your journey...
♥️
The light & depth are, well like I was standing there and could feel the sunlight
Beautiful
Beautifully captured light, especially the shadowed waterfall framed by highlights. Much thought was put into this "painterly" composition. Delightful.

Well done Chuck. Such a beautiful scene and magnificent Painting. Thoroughly enjoyed the Video. I can see myself sitting on a Rock or Log marveling at this scene.
I don’t usually comment on videos but I just saw this and I am really amazed by how beautiful this is! I’ve been watching your channel for about 6 years or so now and I learned how to paint landscapes from this channels tutorials. Thanks so much for posting these
thank you kindly! great to hear that and you are most welcome I love to share
So breath taking! Love your work and your vision of making your paintings come alive!
when I see this painting i feel like want to go to that location
I just watched this again, I love how the light is focused and brings the viewer into the painting! I notice you do a lot of small paintings which I like because they take less time and you still obviously have a masterpiece when you are done. Do you do these as kind of a study, then if you like them you decide to do a larger version? Or do you just like them because they are quicker to do? Thanks again Chuck for the inspiration!
Alot of nice colors beautiful painting enjoyed watching you paint thank you for sharing kathy

Bagus banget
Hey! This is such a beautiful painting, mannnn! Can you please tell the name of each of the colours you used so that I can identify the shades correctly! Please! 😍😍😍
Can you give us some hints about how you avoid repetitive motion injury? I remember seeing you using a brace a few years back. Just wondering what you may have discovered since then.
Strengthening forearms! I did go through a lot of that, and I was essentially diagnosed with a hyper-mobility syndrome and was told I especially need to counter that with more strength in my upper forearms. I do pushups and plants on my fists every day now and use a lot of exercise bands to do different types of reps. Never felt better! It was months and months of training to feel better though

Do you let each layer dry? Or do you paint wet on wet? I am an acrylic artist, and I understood you can not layer up like that with oil paint. Appreciate if you answered my question
No I don't, it was all still very wet when I finished. You absolutely can layer up with oils and it requires thin layers in the beginning and thicker more tacky layers to finish I'd say
