    Hi Sergei.....a good Idea would be to have your new Rig equipped with a master Switch. This way, you always have the Bats. ready to go.

    Sergei, don't feel bad!!! My late wife was Puerto Rican, tried to teach me spanish for years!! But she was SOO impatient with me, so it made it that much harder. I can understand more than I can certainly speak. I know enough to get slapped, lol

    Hey Sergie great video as always. You are right, Canada has two official languages (english and french). The province of Quebec has one official language (French or Quebecois (a french dialect)). Ontario has one official language -English. New Brunswick is the only bilingual province with both French and English as their official languages. Confusing? You bet. Safe driving and keep her between the lines.

    I believe some tractors can be spec'd with a cut off switch near the batter box--to be used when you are going to be away from the tractor for an extended period.

    Sergei I have stopped many times coming back from the east coast at the Flying J
    Yes if you get away from the big cities they sometimes don't speak much english but you can
    understand each other enough. The farther you go east both english and french is spoken.
    The same when you go north of Ontario to Quebec both languages are spoken.

    Sergei, i don't want to generalize, but in France the same thing. Everywere in Europe the people attempt to speak English when they see you don't speak their language, but in France they refuse to speak English although the majority know' s how to speak some English. Must be the rivalry between the two country's!
    Safe travels.

    Monsieur De Sergei - Parlez en Russian to them if they don't parlez l'anglais. Many French Canadians have been raised under the notion that English is the langauge of the Ruling Elite and Fench is the language of the ordinary people. And, that was true to a great extent until the late 1960's and early 1970's. Pardon my ignorance but I thought people from Europe had a working knowledge of several languages including French and German. Enough to be understood at least. I saw some of your bird photography from the weekend on Facebook. The east-west runway at Pearson airport that the planes fly over that PetroCan and Wendy's is closed for maintainence. That lens will give you some great results when photographing planes. Try the parking lot at Sherway Gardens at the QEW and 427 when the planes are coming in from the south.

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  7 років тому

      yeah, I believe she was having fun at my expense ;) I was saying things in English ('no cheese') and she would repeat them in French (pas frommage). which kinda defeats the purpose of knowing French ... I once was on a plane from France to Canada and the French guy sitting next to me wouldn't talk English to me (I asked him something in English). he then asked me where I was from and when I said I was from Russia and now living in Canada, he started speaking - turns out he only had a problem if I was American. so, it's not the language - for some reason French speaking people just don't like Americans....

    • @paulsommerhalder9049
      @paulsommerhalder9049 7 років тому

      Paul Venne I fact-checked what you said because I found it hard to believe and sure enough, it was true. What's even worse, it began in 1977 during a separatist push by Quebec extremists to withdraw from Canada. They obviously failed, but the language law remained.

    Same thing in Trois Rivieres, Quebec. I was at St. Huberts and she clearly understood English, but refused the speak it. It came down to pointing what I wanted with my limited understanding of French. Must be a pride issue. I wish they would remove French from signs in Ontario.

    Who is dispatch I hear you mention it some times I want to become a trucker some day and was wondering who tells you ware the loads are

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  7 років тому

      Most trucking companies have a person in the office who deals with loads and load paperwork. He or she is called a 'dispatcher', a 'traffic manager', a 'truck manager', or 'freight manager', or 'driver manager'. They 'dispatch' drivers meaning they arrange loads and then tell truckers where to go to pick them up and deliver them. In my case, because I'm an owner - operator, I get a 'Carrier Confirmation' sheet via email. It has all the details on the next load I am doing. This sheet is also known as 'Load Confirmation'. Thx 4 watching-
