What's up bro, excellent delivery, very good material, thank you!
Shores of Evening surprised me, I had never heard it before, it is very good, there is so much strength in that music, but without so much noise, it is one of those things that can tear the rock apart with a slap, without the need of the war hammer. Ah!, and Dark Quarterer, my God, amazing!
You might like an album called Dealers of Divinity by White Magician, great stuff bro!

Good to hear from you! I'll have to check out White Magician, I've never even heard of them before. Yeah though, Shores of Evening really isn't that bad, is it? It's certainly not a great METAL record, but it has its own charms, and it's nowhere near as weak and wimpy as I expected it to be, hahaha.

    Thanks for the video 👌👌👍
Once my mate came over in his car to pick me and another friend up, and he was playing sabbat, my friend whos not really into metal commented "why does this sound like im being told off by an angry uncle" 😆
Really want a copy of Hobbs Angel of Death, been on my want list for far too long!
The only thing i have found on Banzai in the UK is Détente - Recognise No authority, great album. Hopefully I will find some more stuff om banzai in the future.
Got that Onslaught as a reissue only at the moment, if i see an original in the wild i would definitely pick it up congrats on yours!
There was a unofficial release of that self titled rigor mortis in recent years, I was really pleased to find a copy online, great sound too. Apparently Rigor Mortis used to tease the Pantera guys. There is a documentary on Rigor Mortis that you've now reminded me i need to watch.
A recent discovery of UK thrash for me was was Seventh Angel, i liked the first studio album(1990) but the 2nd isnt thrash really. Album art for both wouldn't make you think thrash either as its same artist who did Diamond head, praying mantis and Nazareth album covers. Worth checking out though.
    Cheers

Love the Onslaught album. I've got the Pussmore edition with the bit of color in the artwork. My other Onslaught album is the one where the record company forced them to use Grim Reaper's Steve Grimmett for the lead vocals. HUGE style change.

The debut of Rigor Mortis is kickers killer. Bought it when it first dropped in the late 80s based on the cover and fell hook, line and sinker. Absofuckinglutely the badass raddest Metal band to roll out of Texas. They used to make fun of Pantera. Death Thrash at it's best! HORROR METAL most Def. RIP Bruce Corbin & Mike Scaccia. If you have ever had the pleasure of seeing them live, you'll get the hype. Scaccia was a rabid maniac on guitar , fast as fuck. I'd put it up against Slayer's Reign In Blood as it's equal. 🤘

Coming from England and being around during the start of Thrash Metal Onslaught - Power From Hell was a great gnarly Thrash Metal album. For me Sabbat were the best British Thrash Metal band. That first Dark Quarterer is exactly what I want from Italian metal, it sounds like it was composed and recorded in the basement of a decrepit mountain castle. That magic disappeared afterward, never to return. Grimmett singing for Onslaught was such a complete waste of an incredible metal voice, anyone could have shouted their way through the 4th-tier thrash on that 3rd album. Nothing about the word 'evening' could have anything to do with metal, wait an hour until you get 'night', 'darkness' and 'the black' etc. SOE was fine for what they were trying to do, which clearly just wasn't metal. My all-time metal cover art vs music letdown is SMITHWORKS--Covered In Blood, go check that one out. Epic hero cover and the music sounds to me like a milquetoast Christian rock band decided metal was getting big so they would go in and record a cash-in metal album. It's bizarrely bad music and still fetches a pretty penny based strictly on the unfulfilled promise of the artwork.
