I agree with you on all three. I was especially happy to see you mention lip for the goat dps. He just has a more effective and consistent career than profit. I would honestly argue that within the overwatch leauge, lip is the second candidate behind viol2t for the best player in owl history.

Unfortunately I have to disagree about falcons. Fearless is just straight up better especially since you have Hanbin. I think we’ve seen some of smurfs shortcomings vs Junbin.
Idk about Hanbins Winston being on par with Fleta. He wasnt good, but he was still far above the bad winstons of 2023 (Vulcan, Krawi, Fleta). He definitely had some good moments like primaling pulse into the tracer, and improved throughout the season
Profit > Lip, Lip has had more competitive teams better coaches better orgs then profit ever had, so obviously he is more setup to succeed then most players, he's never had a mid team like profit never had to carry over the course of multiple seasons, yes over the course of his 4 years he has been better then profit except in 2022. When both players had teams comparable to each other, 2020 playoffs and 2022 season (IMO) profit past his prime was at worst as good if not better, 2020 playoffs, profit was one of if not the best player in the world, 2022 when profit wasn't sent to brig jail was equally as good if not better. Ofc lip over the 4 year period was overall better but compare it to profits first 4 years 2 grand finals apex and owl, 2019 was GOATS, 2020 grand finals runner up all this while undoubtably being the carry, lips 4 years include incredible regular season in 2020 deep playoffs run gets third, 2021 was lips year easily the most valuable player in dragons playoff run, 2022 Fleta fell off and fate couldn't adapt I though void was still good, 2023 amazing regular season but flunks in the playoffs, mostly because he was getting gapped by shy and against London was boomed on suravassa when he could of touched simply didn't and threw any chance that reign had in winning. He would build beats faster than nearly any other Lucio out there, and would both support his team and contribute pretty heavily in the kill feed while staying safe. Great video! Maybe you should also do a video on the highest peak on every role. This list is kind of based on longevity over peak. Lip hasn't had a single season where he was the best dps in the league (season 3 fleta was better, season 4 leave was better, season 5 Proper was better and season 6 Stalk3r and Mer1t were better over the whole season), IMO Proper in season 5 was probably the best individual player we have ever seen. ( I would also personally put Profit above Lip in this list as he was actually the best dps in the league at some point and also played a lot longer at the highest level) Smurf was arguably the best tank in season 3, but Someone's peak in season 6 was just something else. He was both more flexible than smurf and also better on pretty much every tank. For support it's no question tho, Viol2t is the GOAT of overwatch. He was the best support in season 2 and 3 and also has the longevity and flexibility to boot. I do think jjonak's peak in Season 1 was probably higher compared to the competition. Also shoutout to Punk for being a third tank who can play most if not all tanks to a high level :P

The Hanbin and Fearless disrespect is wild 😭😭. Smurf is very good overall but Fearless and Hanbin are hard carries on their tank picks and have way higher peaks both being top 3 MVP candidates at their peaks
It’s not disrespect, their peak individually are higher yes. But their flexibility is not as fleshed out as Someone and Smurf, I feel the value players like them give to a team is more valuable.

For me, you should have chosen between THE goat of the history of overwatch or for each role, and what I mean by each role is flex dps and hitscan ones, flex supports and main supports. Like, I can’t see where you can compare profit and lip since they’re playing such different picks

The Hanbin and Fearless disrespect is wild 😭😭. Smurf is very good overall but Fearless and Hanbin are hard carries on their tank picks and have way higher peaks both being top 3 MVP candidates at their peaks
It’s not disrespect, their peak individually are higher yes. But their flexibility is not as fleshed out as Someone and Smurf, I feel the value players like them give to a team is more valuable.

@@TheESPERi think you also undervalue hanbin’s role as a brain even when he isn’t playing. He plays a big hand on the strategies and player coached ideas that goes on all the teams he’s been on.
@@doctoroppa7991the only issue is we can’t truly gauge intangibles as a viewer. Only from word of mouth, when it comes to HanBin I’ve heard he is essentially a drill sergeant in the server.
