New subscriber here. Good review on a cheap reel. I broke mine the first week out. I’m not impressed with them at all. I have a ton of reels from different manufacturers. But my go to reels are the Diawa Seagate SGT50H and SGT35H and then the Piscifun Chaos 50 and 60. If you can’t afford a lot then the PISCIFUN CHAOS 50 is the way to go. I just wish that the 60 was made the same as the 50 is. They are a much better reel for the money

With the cheap one's I guess it's just luck of the draw if you get a decent one or not, been lucky with mine so far. But after this review I tried a chaos 60 and yes sir.. Night and day difference! Great review man. Mine comes in today, I appreciate the thorough walkthrough! I fish canal dams for flatheads so i was hoping the clicker would be loud enough to hear over the water, and it sounds nice!

I’m struggling with mine as well. Definitely takes some fine tuning. And the clicker is wearing down and lost some loudness. I am not sure if you can buy better parts to rebuild these or not 🤔

Yea for sure. If you are on a budget and just need some reels they will get ya out there. It's been a few years since I bought this one. But for the record it's still working fine!

Had it for around 2 years now. Have been mean to it.. beat it up, launched big weights, big baits, and currently have it on a snagging rod. Has never gave me any issues
@@FishinNFreedom1776 what size line did you put on on it when you first got it and was casting it with the green line? And have you switched lines for better casting?

The knob on the crank side is to center the spool, the opposite side is the brake. It sets up like the kast king reels.

I believe the knob on the right is just to center the spool, the left one is for spool tension.

I have this exact reel except gold and black, with 3 oz weight on a 11 ft cat buster rod and it cast a mile.

I have one on my vermillion snapper rod for the gulf. For dropping straight down and reeling straight back up, it does an excellent job.

That was 30 lb Berkley Big Game... have switched all my rigs to 40lb Big Game.
