@lynncaldwell8479 yes sir, they all will backlash, some just worse than others. Depends on the centrifugal brake design ect. But most of it come down to adjustment on the spool tensioner, and casting style. Start with the know pretty tight and back it off slowly to get more distance

I mostly use Skipjack, Shad and Carp. Mooneye when I can get em!

@stevereese9945 they have discontinued this particular model and are releasing a newer upgraded version, should be out very soon. And it's nice!

@707SonomaComa the Albatross has upgraded everything, gears, bearings, drag.. the drag on the Albatross is 40lb!

Clicker has a good tone, and pretty loud.. I can hear it over the barges going by and they are noisey!

@arzaduzit really well.. have used it quite a bit on the boat, truck camping, during power outages ect. It's still working fine!

I think it would be a little small for tuna. Probably not near enough line capacity or drag.

Once I get mine casting good I just leave em until I change weights or put a big heavy bait on, may tighten it up a little so i dont backlash.. ( i still backlash sometimes lol ) Only thing you'll really need to adjust is the drag when needed. Thanks again hope you enjoy the reel!

@MRCristLE-r that would really depend on what fish are you targeting and it what waters. Like are you fishing lakes or rivers with current? That would determine what kind of basic gear I would recommend such as rods and Reels. You may not need big reels with tons of line capacity and drag if you are mostly gonna be catching channel cats and small blues ect.. if you are gonna be in heavy current and there are big blues and flatheads then you will need to get something a little more beefy that can handle those situations. Tell me a little about where and for what you are fishing. That will also determine what kind of terminal tackle you will need too..
