I do dryer vent service in Southern California and it is a must to access the roof to clean the termination damper/hood.

We have a Spanish tile roof and no company will go up there to check the damper on second story roof. We even tried calling roofing companies and the job is too small for them. Any suggestions please 🙏🏼

@jillzy1182 the only other possibility is to go up into the attic and take the duct apart near the roofline and try to clean it that way. I have had to do exactly that in a few situations. Dryer vents on tile roofs of two story homes are problematic because of the height and the fragile tiles. Call some dryer vent service companies or maybe a handyman to do this.

Do you need to snake from the inside then as well? I.e. do what you did with the short on the roof.
