I have never used Metaball before...really learned a lot from this video,Thank you!
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to watch new series online?
For anyone experiencing crash when they click the Bake Image Sequence especially in large scenes, don't forget to unwrap the mesh that serves as the Canvas :). I've been in and out searching for solutions and found nothing.
Hopefully this helps :)
You just saved me probably hours of trying to solve it, thank you!!
And great also in combination with dynamic paint. It solves a lot of my problems, because I find it difficult to use simulations while doing a complex animation. Thanks again!
yes, i find it impossible now to do anything good with out using dynamic painting
Nice way of use the dynamic painting
Leonardo Romero thanks
This is exactly the kind of animation I was trying to create, this is an amazing tutorial to get me started. Thank you!
you just save my life. thank you. keep making unique tutorials
i like how you explain the details and tell why we are using specific thing. thank you
Thanks alot man truly this was very straight forward and easy to understand I really appreciate you sharing this thanks again!
Very helpful and straightforward tutorial. Very helpful in a school project where I wanted a similar effect.
Great! I use metaballs to create smoke - but for rain is also a brilliant idea. Thanks a lot!
you can use metablls for smoke? do you have a tutorial on that, i have wanted to do some smoke simulation tests but my pc is shit
Thank you, just what I was looking for!
great tutorial , full with explaination!
When i bake image sequence and cntrl shift click it into the shader editor the trails dont show up, any idea on what i could be doing wrong?
In the beginning video, I see the render should add the motion blur to make it more realistic...
just found what I was looking for. Thanks a lot, sir!!
Do I need 2.81 for image sequence ? can't seem to find it in 2.8, no such thing in the texture panel
WOW ! Informative !
Fantastic tutorial
excellent tutorial !
Awesome friend. It Is a very realistic effect. I hear your accent and i think isn't from U.S.A? Or yes? Thanks a Lot. Cheers from Montevideo Uruguay.
Is the finished project available on your Patreon
I am done but when the drops flow down, its creating a lot of circle shapes on the window which I don't want. How do I stop it? i set the resolution really high already and it didn't help.
Did you record that in a Blender Church? :P
Lol😁😂🤣
just wow. thank you!
I have a bug with substep- it doesnt effect the stroke.. any ideas how to solve it?
great tutorial, helped me a lot
How to light this scene to use in real worlf
Is it normal that the particles have a distance to the collision mesh? Is this because we use Metaballs here?
Excellent! Thanks!
I added a second brush for the wiphers and looks really nice.
I can't believe I wasted a whole day on this without it working in 2.9.
I like the tutorial. I think it's just how Blender is structured.
please can you complete the car rig tutorial, i want to know how you did the suspensions.
Femi Falade it’s not complete?
@@TopChannel1on1 No its not, you said you will upload it. i really appreciate what you are doing here, i just switched from maya to blender recently and your tutorials have been most helpful thank you.
@@femifalade3134 dude u wanna learn together? i switched from maya to blender too i need someone to learn with its not fun alone
Please do an updated video showing what controls [slow down you examples for us new to Blender] you are using and clear up the audio.
how to render metaball?
ommg thhhanks bro you help me a lot
This is so awesome
Спасибо)))
This tutorial is very useful if you want to make droplets on fruits too.. Just play around with settings. :)
great tutorial, followed the tutorial and got some awesome result, but am having a bit of a problem seeing my simulation in the final render bt can see it on the view port
What happened?
@@TopChannel1on1 tried animating water droplet using metaball been acted on by the wind force, got a realistic water droplet effect but wen i try rendering, it appears invincible bt when i try other objects they do appear
@@bobbyice1000 meta balls, have a render resolution, make sure to check that it affects how they are rendered, just go under the object settings for the meta ball
did you record this in a cave?
1:06 how did u do that, this video is great if you show the keystroke on screen
He used a bevel, you can do this by pressing CTRL+B. Scrolling will change the amount of divisions!
@@lansraad6142 thank you so muchhhhhh !!!!!!
Has anyone experienced problems with rendering this animation? My render image is l gray and black, does anyone know how to fix it?
try checking your render settings maybe you have the render set to black and white
I'm having a problem with the particles, some of the particles fall through the "windscreen", any idea on how to fix?
I have the same problem and the solution for me was to move the emitter a little bit in the viewport after every setting in a physic tab and after mesh adjustment or ..... at least when the problem shows. And some position of emitter and window( for instance when they are too close cause the same problem). I think this is a bug.
@@silogisus ah okay, I'll try that, at first I thought that my imported mesh had tiny holes in it, but maybe it's just a bug
Help! I have 12 substeps on my sliding wetmap images but I am still getting gaps in the trails. Is that reasonable? Is it just a matter of increasing the substeps even more?
same issue no solving for this.. looks like a bug
Interesting video. Understand it all, but..... what do you do from 1:07 to 1:14, after the Ctrl-R ?
U understood now? After 3 years
Ctrl shift waht... In 12:28
oh my goodness
real
This is just what I needed but it might as well be in a different language! Your accent, the speed in which you talk, and the bad quality make it so hard to follow! :(

Clickbait thumbnail? :(
It's the opposite of clickbait because it's better than the thumbnail
Stupid comment? Yes!
Stephan is the thumbnail a render?
You know something... it is awesome and cool that people like you spend hours creating videos detailing all the steps in creating rain effect on glass, but you fail to show the end result even for about just 1 minute. What is the point? I mean what is the MOTIVATION, TopChannel1on1, for a user to follow your video? You go through all the details for 27 minutes but there is no completed animation to see or view at the end. lol... Thumbs Down buddy.
yeah sometimes i just forget
What's better, spending over 20 minutes of your valuable time on earth on creating f*cking water droplets on glass from scratch OR simply recording it with a video camera and perhaps a greenscren lmaoo?
Please make a tutorial on how to import a video of water drops into interactive 3D environments and games then plz, ktxh bye.
This might be one of the most embarrassing comments I've read.
Try rendering it and you'll find the meta balls do not render, not in Eevee anyways ?? why is that?
