Thanks- this is the best setup I’ve seen for the landing gear. Totally agree on upgrading to the aluminum track. Question is what steps did it require to replace the tracks?
how are they holding up? any problems with the boonedox landing gear? Is this setup strong enough for the landing gear? How about corrosion due to using stainless steel screws against the aluminum track? I think I would have used neoprene washers between the hardware and tracks.
@@RonBrumback awesome thank you. I sold my f12 and just got the Unlimted. Thinking about doing what you did plus attaching it to the gunnels track to. . I’m planning on putting a rod holders on it. Do you think it would be okay to do what I’m planning on?
Sunny Xiong , Landing Gear was fromAustin Kayak, tracks are from Aquaterra Sports. Local source for nuts and bolts, aluminum channel from Amazon. I made the stainless tracknuts
This is the best landing gear setup I have seen. I would cut some pipe or tubing to put in side the square pieces to keep from rushing them.
They are aluminum, no rust

Now that it has been a few years since you posted this video, I'd love to know how it's holding up? Any issues with strain on the track etc...?
None at all
Damn that was clever!! I am going to use an application similar to that to mount my LG to my Titan 13.5!!
Thank you for the video I went with similar set up because of this video. Has this set up affected your tracks at all?
None whatsoever
