Badass rig man, I think this sold me on the nk180 pro. Just need to sell my Old Town Solo Sportsman to raise the funds for it haha. Thanks for this one bud!
@@AliexFolgueira I really do like that boat, but 99.99999% of the time it just sits on the wall. I think it’s mostly the weight capacity that keeps me from using it more often.
I would really like to see how the slowest range speeds are. I use my trolling motor to slow work shorelines keeping wind and tide from pushing me into or away from the grass lines. Top speeds are great but if I’m going to switch from a 2 motor system (gas & electric) to a single electric system, I really would like to know how it will perform in those conditions.
here is the 180pro on nasty weather, 4.5 mph seem to be the go to speed regardless of conditions ua-cam.com/video/JVpu66VsVc0/v-deo.htmlsi=Pj9lyEdiKWbmPpT_
@@markdotson607 ahhhh full foot control! that would be cool but it would have to be a all in one offering from the company in question, that would be sweet, i dont see it coming though
@@AliexFolgueira Steer by wire generally refers to there being no physical linkage between the steering mechanism and what is moving. It's dumb terminology for sure, but the fact that there is a physical link between the pedal and the motor (the wire) means this is not in fact steer by wire.
But tomorrow I'll be adding the xi3 and steer by electrical input and not physical ones but that's also not true because the electrical inputs make the gears on the motors turn...lol
Great test
thats my next Kayak
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Fancy stuff, dude

Does that foot controller with wire cable , comes with Newport pro ? I am looking on they website and I don’t see it
No, that's on NuCanue site, called quick disconnect foot control something
Can the foot pedal be installed on the right side of the
you would nee an entire new system, to steer with the right, a pedal that sets on the right and a stern mount that sets on the right
They should make another foot pedal for Throttle control true hands free fishing
what do you mean? it turns left and right from the same foot pedal
@@AliexFolgueira no one foot for steering and the other foot for throttle control forward and reverse. So you are using both feet

@AliexFolgueira I know but it was a great idea right
Cool but needs spot lock!....FishOn....jimi
Autoboat!
@@AliexFolgueira see, now that would be awesome. If only autoboat made a kit for nucanoe and newport to go on the NK180 Pro
Go to open sea trial if your kayak perform like real boat 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Steering by using a cable is not steering by wire, lol... Nice video anyway, but title is very decieving.
well you are wrong, a wire is a single piece, which this is, cable is multiple wires bundle together
