*I lost 120 pounds in 2018 on a Carnivore Diet, I maintained that in 2019. In 2020 I struggled with some weight gain and then lost it again in 2021. For the last few years I have been maintaining a healthy weight. In December 2022 I had skin removal surgery (tummy tuck). This channel just documents all of that journey and how our family lives normal lives and eats a meat based diet.

🥳🥳🥳I AM NEW TO CARNIVORE AND LOVE THAT YOU POST THINGS LIKE THIS !!! I COME FROM A NON-MEAT BACKGROUND, AND DONT EVEN KNOW DIFFERENT CUTS OF MEAT OR HOW TO COOK IT…😵💫😵💫😵💫 I AM LEARNING THOUGH…😁😁😁AND ALMOST 20 LBS DOWN !!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
🎊 🎉👏😊
🎉🎉 I bet your energy level is through the roof - Congrats!
There are soo many great carnivore people on here that have awesome recipes, and great info to keep you on track - I can recommend some, if you're so inclined.
My biggest tip; Ignore the haters ('you're gonna get cancer', 'have a heart problems', blah, blah, blah - it's all bs), learn to listen to your body!
@@Aurora3242 not tons of energy yet… but definitely feel much better…🥳🥳🥳 down 20lbs, and tons of non scale victories !!! This is definitely the best thing I’ve done in along time !!! 🤩🤩🤩
I have no plans of ever eating a bunch of processed crap again !!! EVER !!! 💩💩💩LOL !!!🥩💕🥩💕🥩💕🥩💕🥩💕🥩💕
Welcome❤
Me too! I’m on day 12 and these videos are so helpful!
I really love Laura’s take on eggs. When I first became a carnivore I used to only eat pasture-raised eggs. They got too expensive after a while so now I only eat regular eggs.!!
This is more of a realistic Carnivore haul, especially for normal folks with normal income. Goal here is to try to eat as clean as possible but the reality is there will be some additives here and there. Buy as clean as you can for your budget.
5:46 1.99$/lbs!? That's insane. That is such a good deal
This video made me laugh out loud a bunch! Thank you for not taking yourself too seriously! I just recently shifted back to carnivore, because my guts spoke up and said "If you keep trying to reintroduce vegetables and fruits, you WILL be sorry." Thank you for the tips and tricks - the solidarity is SO very helpful.
I've been on the Carnivore lifestyle for six months. I'm eat OMAD and my meal consists of chicken, beef, pork, bacon and eggs. A little bit of each, like one chicken wing, a small hamburger and so on. However, at the end of summer I started adding red onions 🌰 salad dressings with relish and pickles to my meal. Needless to say I started getting headaches, cramping and weight gain. 😢 So starting today October 1st, 2023, it's back to just meat, salt and water. I shop for myself only so I try to staying under $200 a month on just meat, butter and eggs. I kind of fell off the wagon but I am dusting myself off and getting back on track. Thanks for the great video, I always enjoy seeing what other Carnivores are eating.😀
You are on the right side of a good nutritional diet. There is so much misinformation out there harming people about low carb lifestyle.
I agree with you about the meat balls.
I’m already amazed at how much my grocery bill has dropped by doing carnivore (in my first 30 days). It’s exactly the extras that make grocery shopping more expensive….packaged, processed food, impulse buying food I didn’t really need, multiple trips for fresh produce, salad, fruit that would go bad. I’m definitely saving money since going carnivore and buying meats, butter, eggs, heavy cream, sparkling water, coffee. Also signed up for a local, monthly meat delivery service. It’s around $160, and takes care of a good chunk of my meat products for the month.
What one did sign up for? I’m still trying to decide what will work best for me.
@@ravenzyblackI’m in Colorado and use Locavore Delivery.
Thank you for showing a real family eating carnivore long term, making it sustainable and affordable. Great content! 🙌😎
The cotton candy grapes are regular grapes soaked in a flavored solution. It's sugar on top of sugar. 😭
I didn't know that. Interesting.
She looks so young and her skin is glowing, I must try this carnivore diet.
I am on team good eggs. The mutant chicken eggs...the chickens never see light they have no legs and never walk. Spend the money on good eggs. 👍
Completely agree
Better yet, get them from a local farm, same with the meat
The point she was making about the eggs was that what costs $5.99 for a dozen and SOUNDS like "good eggs" from the labeling in the store is often lies. So, for example, "free range" just means that in the giant, windowless, stifling, smelly warehouse the chickens huddle in, at one end there is a door that is open for a few hours a day. She didn't say she doesn't care about quality -- only that so much funny business is done defining labeling terms in deceptive ways that she doesn't believe paying more for so-called good eggs will actually be better. And she is aspiring to get her own chickens to solve this problem.
Thank you. I just found your channel tonight. I eat kosher. But, I am really inspired by your videos.
Imma say "eggs yolker" now, I can feel it. Thanks, Laura! You're my fav carnivore food idea source
Me too❤
Thank you Laura spath❤ how about a show on every thing you make w ground beef. I’m getting bored with just hamb’s.
I am not carnivore but low carb, enjoy watching you! Great tips😀
Thanks for filming yourself shopping. I know you probably have to psych yourself up for walking around in public, talking to a camera. We all appreciate it.
Several months late, but @8:36 - Amylu brand has several varieties of meatballs that just have meat and spices (and cheese if that works in your diet). Watch for the few that contain fruits and other less desirable ingredients in a carnivore diet.
I make chicken strips with pork panko and Parm. I buy 2 or 3 bags of clean pork rinds, blend with Parm and spices in my chopper. I store extra in fridge. I fry and keep warm in oven until all are done for dinner.
I bought bread cheese at Aldi last week, FYI.
This was great. I would definitely like to see more of these types of videos! I would also love to see the menus 7 breakfasts, 7 lunch, 7 dinner!
She usually eats 1 meal a day, sometimes 2
@Laura (8:36) Trader Joe’s has chicken meatballs that are gluten free, soy free and 0 grams of sugar. The ingredients are really clean as well! 😊
Good to know!
I love watching your videos! I am new to carnivore and it helps me to watch someone down to earth and authentic. I am on a budget and I am unable to buy or keep up with all of the "don't" of the strick eaters. So, thank you, thank you, thank you!! Sending you love and light to you and yours! Be blessed 💖💖💖💜💜💜
Im about to get started on the carnivore lifestyle. This type of video has the most value and ive been consuming a lot of carnivore content lately.
The look on your face passing the cotton candy grapes 😂😅 love her
I guarantee that people don't believe me when I tell them that I spend less on groceries than I used to when I ate the SAD diet. Proof!
Tried that Costco deli snack yesterday and it was so good! I’ve missed pizza! We’re limited in stores being in Alaska but we have a Kroger sister store up here. I have to buy pasture raised eggs that were not given a grain diet (due to high inflammation issues it’s better for me) Those you can trust. My chiropractor tested all the eggs and no matter the brand pasture raised was the best.
How does your chiropractor "test" eggs?
@@keekeejenkins6162 He tested by doing lab work on himself and some of his patients also did it. They ate the same kind of eggs for a month and had their labs drawn monthly. Diet had to remain the same each time and the inflammation markers were the lowest with pasture raised eggs.
Great grub grab!😊
I would like ideas for meals that could be placed in a slow cooker in the morning that would be ready for the family’s evening meal…. Thanks
Yes, great idea. Slow cooker meals!
Me too!!!
This video has some slow cooker stuff in it.

@@LauraSpathPerfect! Thanks!
Thank you Laura hi from Texas
I've lost weight on carnivore wahoo 🎉
I love these videos. Soy is not my friend. I am allergic to it, so I am reading ingredients.
$1.99/lb for 80/20 ground beef?! The Kroger by me never has it that cheap, wow.
Wow, $11 a kilo (2.2lbs) here in Australia 🇦🇺 for 80/20 beef
We get it 1.99lb on sale like once a year, and the rest of the time our sales are at or near $3lb. Seems like Arizona has a lot better prices on food overall. And not even just food actually. That stand up freezer she got for $350, I believe. Same freezer here is $500.
Kroger here is $6
I JUST looked at the 80/20 this evening lol
I find clearance steaks for $7-8 or Costco
I’m eating STEAK lover hamb ANY dau
@@YeshuaKingMessiah $6lb is the regular price for ground beef at our Kroger here as well. Outrageous 🤦🏻♀️
7 bucks a pound here in west coast Canada. 😮
As always, so down to earth.
@9:08 I knew you were heading for the Mac's. lol The best pork rinds ever
I’ve been saying that for years about meat balls. Why can’t they make some that are just meat and spices and maybe some egg. I would totally buy them.
IKEA has some pretty good meatballs in their food section. not sure though if keto/carnivore.
Thanks for taking us along Laura. This is helpful ❤
You can easily make your own tzatziki sauce by shredding a cucumber (use a cheese grater) and adding it to sour cream or yogurt. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and some salt. Chopped garlic or garlic powder if you like. Much better than store bought.
But… yogurt, cucumbers, garlic and lemon are not carnivore. Wondering whether it matters much in others’ experience
@@nancycy9039 Neither is what is in the tzatziki sauce that came in the package she bought
Love these videos!! Thank you Laura❤😊
Laura soo appreciate your videos. Thanks for making them.
Thank you for the tips, Laura.
Thank you Laura!!! Have an amazing night.
Love this content and I take screen shots of your purchases so I can check it out. Thanks!
Yes! The meatball saga- I look everywhere I go & haven’t found any!
Thank you so much for this video! It was very helpful and informative. I love all of your content. Can’t wait for the next video!
Great video! Thanks so much, Laura!
Thanks for sharing your weekly staples on the Carnivore Diet! It's great to see how you're maintaining a well-balanced diet within the Carnivore framework. Keep up the excellent content - looking forward to more Carnivore Diet insights from you! 👏🥩🍳🥓
Thank you so much for this video!!! So helpful!!!
Love this haul. You are so real, and I love your grocery haul content and ideas! ❤
That is really good! Our family of six (3 adults, 1 teen, 2 kids) eating animal-based (we eat fruit, honey, and maple syrup), mostly grass-fed and organic, we spend about $1800 a month which is ridiculous. I've been thinking about cutting out the grass fed until we can get a cow in the freezer.
What is animal-based Maple syrup?
These videos are SOOOO helpful. I love seeing grocery hauls and how to pick out meat and what the heck to season the meat with. I am the worst and cooking meat, so you have really taught me so so much!!!! ❤
Really enjoy these videos. I like seeing what and why you buy what you buy. Thanks
Thanks Laura for the meal ideas and the tips like pork rinds and parmesian cheese!
Thank you gurl!! I am just starting carnivore and this is helping me sooo much. 🙏 subscribed
You are so beautiful and such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
Thanks for the video! When do we get to hear from Chris again? He inspires me to keep going. I have watched his videos over and over. You two rock!
It's good!
My husband and I are just starting carnivore
You have helped me so much. Thank you
Gonna hit my Fry's today- thanks Laura!!!
Can confirm I spend about $200 a week for my family of 4(Australia). I get my kids extra snacks but me and hubby are mostly carnivore/ketovore
Great video Laura. Documenting my carnivore journey and your channel has been very helpful. 30 days done. Onward.
Laura, I love going shopping with you‼I love seeing what your prices are and comparing‼Thank you‼

Your videos are so motivating Laura...I'm at the end of a 2 week sea journey. Drank to much, ate to much........I really need a change when I get home! Again thank you!
Thanks laura
Ty for keeping things real.
Moe please. You have given me so many good ideas for family meals. I feel deprived without variety, even when it comes down to a single plate of food. I love to cook and this ability to present a delicious, intersting plate of food intrigues me.
Always great Laura!
@lauraspath I enjoy watching your videos, please keep it up! Since switching to Carnivore I've lost over 40 pounds and most of my meal ideas and inspiration come from your channel.
🎊 🎉🌟👏😊
thank you for your help.
I love your shopping trips thank you
Love this! Thank you!
I just found your channel and as a 23 year old student I really appreciate these tips/recipes.
This was very helpful ❤
@LauraSpath I use Amylu Chicken basil & parmesan meatballs. Very clean. I find them at Costco. The majority of the Amylu brand is clean. These videos are super helpful. Thank you!
Love grocery hauls ❤
Great haul girl!
Laura, thank you sooooooo much! I loved this video and have found it immensely helpful, despite the fact that I am English and live in England so prices are a bit different as are our products. I am convinced this is the diet for me 😊
Loved this video!
Great info! Thanks
Thanks for the video, Laura! The coffee Chris drinks is great with the Chocolate LMNT! Now, for my budget, I grind my coffee beans and make a pot of coffee that I refrigerate overnight with LMNT. For me, it's as delicious as the Stok brand and considerably less $$.
I have done carnivore but didn’t have much variety and only did it strict for 3 weeks. Great info and you put your cart away 😂 👍🏻👍🏻 that is such a pet peeve of mine!
I don't know how I would make it work if I had a family. It's just me and your weekly family grocery budget is about the same as my monthly budget. Yes, it is pretty much ground beef and eggs. If I find a good sale on chicken I'll add that as well. This month there were family packs of chicken wings on sale buy-one-get-one.
Thank you on straight talk on eggs
I love this one!!!
Thanks for the greta info, as always....and the link! 😜
Great video-Thank you! Can you do an update on your surgery? How are you doing? Any changes? Scar fading?
Simply put… Great Video! 💯 real
Was happy to see the "always put your cart away" at the end.
Thanks for the video Laura..love how you keep it real. Would like to make a suggestion on the pork rinds..if you can at all afford it, get the 4505 brand. Not only are they lighter and fluffier than most, the salt and the tajin flavors are clean and they fry them in pork fat vs who knows what oils in the cheap store brands. Can get these in some higher end grocery stores, at whole foods or even through Amazon! Keep up the great content!
Love all the good ideas in your videos! Want to try the bread cheese. Yum. At Costco, I buy chicken legs in separated packaging with 4. Air fry them 10 minutes per side and throw them on the grill to finish cooking and add Hughes BBQ no sugar sauce . Kind of like a “side” dish with a couple of burgers.
I totally agree with you about the eggs.
Vital Farms eggs are really awesome and name which farm they come from on each box. They are really trying to support small farms. They taste way better.
I am LOVING the LMNT I got this week! Watermelon is my fave so far 😋
Agree on the eggs. Our backyard chicken eggs taste and look just like the "regular "eggs from Aldi.
Thanks for this video. Please make some videos on how you cook for example the fried cheese. Thanks
Tried the Boar's Head tzatziki and Bread Cheese this week. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thank you for talking about the cheese shop in Kroger's/Fry's(?). I haven't set foot inside any store, except pet stores so I could see the sizes of non dog food items, and remembered that Kroger had a really nice selection. Because you talked about the bread cheese, I was able to figure out how to shop the local stores online. I wish I had known where to look a couple of months ago.
Very helpful. When I purchase sirloin I have to Sous vide it 24 hours at 130 degrees. I then slice it very thin and stir fry just to warm in my home made chili oil. It is tender and delicious. And you can get it on sale.
Mulay's meatballs have no fillers. Sausages are great too.
Thank you for sharing. I’ve never liked pork rinds much but I might like them with sour cream
What so funny is before I got into your video is an ad for a drug for weight loss for type 2 diabetes. 😂 The real weight loss without having to take a pill is your grocery haul. I am neither type 2 diabetic nor overweight. And just curious of your grocery shopping list. 😊
