- Hey everyone I wanted to make a video showing you how to use Hondata. I figured I would show the process from opening up Hondata, getting into your car, loading a tune to your car and also how to datalog. I hope this video helps you out! A lot of this process also applies to other access ports but in slight differences due to software.

I just got my 8th Gen Reflashed, and I’m very happy with it. I had an AEM Cold Air Intake and Yonaka Catback Exhaust already on it, and I noticed that after the Tune my Si has a louder exhaust tone. She’s a real screamer now.

How would I load the secondary tune? I would like to have the 93 tune as primary and 91 tune as secondary for times when I can't find 93 when I'm traveling.
Looking to flash my 21 RDX. Is there anything I can do that would permanently screw up (brick) my car?
nope not really, if youd like to take extra precautions, you can always put a trickle charger on your battery as the car gets flashed just to ensure the car doesnt die while on accessory mode. the only way anything can remotely go wrong is if the car dies in the middle of a flash which is just extremely unlikely

Hey man, on my flashpro the light is solid red on program and my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. What do I do? I uploaded a calibration onto my flashpro (just a stock reflash), and put the car to accessory mode. What do I do?
Can you show how to download a calibration file from one of the forums to Hondata?
So I can load tunes and calibrations prior to bringing it to the car?
What'sHolding down the program will load the primary tune?

I can’t get any info on which one to buy I have an 02 ep3 si. I’m probably going to k24 swap one day and I want to buy one that can run bothe the current k20 and future k24. Do all versions work. Imma noob to Hondas and tuning. Thanks
was your obdII and ecu checked off as green before u held Program ? im having an issue where car does not read the obdII or the ecu. even put it on someone else 9th gen and still not reading
is the hondata flashpro locked to your car or another?
@@davidnturtle ok so i ended up returning that flashpro and got a new one. Now with the new one I uploaded stock reflash and i tuned the car. My issue now is that it still goes into limp mode. Im not fully stock btw there just weren’t any configurations for what i do have.

where did you purchase the gauges and what do they help with?
they are AEM truboost and AFR gauges they show how much boost im making as well as air to fuel ratios
1:48 So as long as you have the right make and model of your car, it really doesn’t matter which calibration to pick out of any of those available options? With my luck I’ll click the wrong thing and mess everything up
just make sure you pick the calibration for your mods but its highly advised to just get a custom tune
Can you save multiple Datalogs at once? Or will the last one be deleted when you start a new one? I just started an Etune on my Type R and I need 10 minutes of regular driving and a few 3rd and 4th gear pulls. I wasn't sure if I should put them all together or if I can record the casual driving separately. Thanks in advance
you can either save them to one file or save multiple datalogs, no it does not delete the previous datalogs if you record them seperately
I’m looking to purchase a hondata when i get it, do i have to register it before i go to a tuner? and what tune should i get ktune or dyno
hondata is best for 8th/9th gens and dyno tune is always good but etuning is decent as well

not necessarily unless you need to send new logs to your tuner

@@davidnturtle Okay. I thought everything had to be connected together. I will also be hitting up Mr Handy for a custom tune VERY soon, but I'm just not familiar with Hondata. So, you're saying... a custom tune can be downloaded to my pc laptop, then uploaded to the Hondata without being plugged into the car? Then just plug the Hondata into the car to re-flash the car (without the pc)?
@@SickHIDs yessir tell Kyle i sent you! and correct a custom tune can be downloaded to your pc, then you would connect your hondata to your pc, upload the tune into hondata via the hondata application, and then you can disconnect hondata from your pc (pc not required anymore) and plug it into your car and flash!

Did you upload the tune on your computer while connected to the Flashpro? Or its connected to the car while your uploading it?
i uploaded it from the computer to hondata, then took my hondata to my car and uploaded the tune from my hondata to the car
