CCR, so many Great songs, Run through the Jungle, Born on the Bayou, I put a Spell on you, Susie Q, Keep on Chooglin’ to name a few. Love listening to you guys!
When I was stationed at Travis AFB in the late 70's I went to Lodi to a show called the Grape Bowl. Creedence has a song "Lodi"(Oh lord stuck in Lodi again). CCR a deep rabiit hole!!!
Oh man, that is so cool to hear about. And yeah, Lodi is one of my all-time favorites of theirs, although I like literally every song they ever did. And I have performed Lodi just by myself but also in a band I was in for a long time several times in front of live audiences and it's always a good response. It just feels so good, laugh.
During the summer of 1970, three kids (now in their late 60's) hung out in a basement playing air drums, guitar, and bass, wore this album, and this particular song out. We had a blast. Thanks for taking the time on this gem.
This song is my childhood. I learned to use a record player with this album. I've only seen one other reaction to this song several years ago. Great to see it pop back up.
I love watching these guys gettin into the music the way they do. It is a pleasure to watch. They both have great ears for even the most subtle sounds.
It’s like everything Credence did sounded like it was a classic right out of the gate. Just great songwriting with an individual voice that drew you right into the tune.
Cosmo’s Factory was released in 1970 when I was 10. I bought it soon after its release and it was the first LP I ever bought. Still have it to this day! Loved this track!
I was a kid growing up in Mexico City and loved CCR and this was one of my favorites, I wanted to live in California !, well I just completed 46 year living in the mighty California !, yes sir.
They do have a song on the "Pendulum" album, called "Rude Awakening #2," that is so deeply psychedelic that it doesn't even really sound like what we know as CCR! That song really is a trip! Also, their very first album (the self-titled one) has some songs which are more psychedelic than CCR usually was.
Anyone who has heard only all the great hits from CCR (and there are a lot of great hits), if you like those, you need to hear the deep cuts/whole albums. Powerful, incredible, like this track.
Cosmo's Factory is probably the best album the band released (together with Willy and the Poor Boys one year earlier), you can't go wrong with it. This one was "just" the opening track. Their version of I Heard It throught the Graveyard is also a journey.
My lifelong best friend -- to “this day” (11/19/24) -- gave me CCR’s “Cosmos Factory” album on my 15th birthday in Oct. 1970… it had been released 3 months earlier, but to me it was “as (re)fresh(ing) as a daisy” & he & I literally wore the grooves down/off on that LP!!! 🎼🎸🥁🔥 There were SO many great songs on that album, but whenever I was alone (& 📳ed, 😂) I’d always go to Side 1 Song 1 & rock out to “Ramble Tamble”‼️ Next to “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” (on Side 2), Ramble Tamble was the second longest song on the album.. it’s a “jam” (“banger”), still love hearing it to this day! 😀 Another great reaction Fellas❗️
I'm always amazed by how many quality songs these guys have. 7 albums in a little over 4 years. Crazy to think they were essentially done by 1972, but here we are over 50 years later still grooving....would love to see you guys do "Born To Move" (another deep CCR cut).
Wow, one of my favorites. John Fogarty, CCR. To make something sound like this....musical genius first class. And I'm saying this as a guitar player myself. His band mates said he was kinda bossy. But come on,having a boss like Mr Fogarty, is that so bad? This was awesom, thanks guys. Loved this one. 👍😁💪
Wow, don't remember this one, pretty sure I have the lp...gonna play this tonite...sounds almost visionary in some sort of post rock way, super cool! haha this could be a tip of the hat to a Yardbirds rave-up...great! really, really cool, ...ham bone ham bone where you been?
They always had such a unique sound. John Fogerty’s voice is raspy and strong. Just another band screwed over by the label and managers! Such a great sound thanks guys!
I believe I saw CCR's last concert. It was 1971, in San Diego. If my memory is correct the Fogerty brothers got in a massive fight after the show. CCR started me out on what was a truly remarkable life of attending live shows, a few big shows and I have seen most everyone I wanted to. If I haven't been to at least 150 live shows I would be surprised.
✨My First Time Hearing This Along With Both of You. GREAT Reaction❕I Agree, Spot on Target❕🎯🎯🎯 You Said Everything I Was Thinking & Feeling❕✨🫶🏼✨P.S.~ Has Enough Time Passed To Ask For Another Carly Simon Request❔”You Belong To Me”, Which She Collaborated With Michael McDonald, if You Please. Both of You Are The BEST❕✨💖✨
When they play essentially the same motif over and over with minor changes, it is called minimalism. It was a popular music movement in the early 1970’s classical and rock. Baba O’ Reilly by the Who is another example of minimalism.
Dude and the best part is how this song leads to the next song on the album. I can hear it in my head. You have to buy the record for your collection and enjoy it all the way through. I was about 11 or 12 when this came out and I bought it with my allowance.
It might not be their best song on the album but it is by FAR their best jam! Incredible driving Rock, Creedence rules on this and for all of Cosmos Factory.. We had the best music ever back then.
This was the first album I ever bought and Ramble Tamble was the first rock song I ever listened to. Man, I sure wore the grooves out. And of course the first concert I ever went to was CCR. It was at the Chicago Amphitheatre with all of it's terrible acoustics. Not that it mattered. It was 1971 and their backups were Bo Diddley and Tower of Power. If only I knew then what I know now.... Please more from this album.
I was nervous that you might have found some chopped version, but nope, y’all got to experience the whole thing 👍🏻 I was born in 67, and my dad bought the album in 1970. So I’ve listened to it on and off for 53 years…. damn I’m fkn old 😂
A deep cut. There are a few deep cuts on their albums, but nobody ever reacts to it. I stll love their unpolished raw debut album, and Pendulum for the variations, the use of other instruments, and a few soul tracks on it.
Love CCR, all day everyday! I have a question...Have you done any Queen? I would really like you, especially Che to check out "Under Pressure" by Queen/David Bowie as Che was questioning Bowie's vocal prowess and this song is a great example of how good he is, holding his own with Freddie. Thank You!
Their song "Pagan Baby" is raw, classic C.C.R. I think you would love it! One of my favorites! Kinda get's lost in the mix. Moderately obscure! You two are great! Cheers!
Not a hit song radio wise for them but a fan favorite Any chance you can get back to some Frank Mariano You only did his cover of all along the watch tower Be cool if you did some of his music It's begun to rain live at the agora theater is great
Boot scootin’ music! I grew up with this record on the turntable. Prolly my fave CCR.
One of their underrated songs. Glad you react to this one.
The “Country Creedence” album is a good compilation. That’s where I found this song.
The mark of a Great Band, they still sound awesome 50 years later
One of the best, most consistent, most hit-packed albums of all-time.
Whole album is fire.
One of the greatest albums of all time. Totally underrated.
CCR, so many Great songs, Run through the Jungle, Born on the Bayou, I put a Spell on you, Susie Q, Keep on Chooglin’ to name a few. Love listening to you guys!
This song has always reminded me of the peaks and valleys of a long intense acid trip. Banger 😸
One of my all-time favorites from CCR and John. This gem always puts a smile on my face. "Cosmos Factory" a certified classic from the boys.
When I was stationed at Travis AFB in the late 70's I went to Lodi to a show called the Grape Bowl. Creedence has a song "Lodi"(Oh lord stuck in Lodi again). CCR a deep rabiit hole!!!

I've never heard a CCR song I didn't like!
100% the same!
This song is my childhood. I learned to use a record player with this album. I've only seen one other reaction to this song several years ago. Great to see it pop back up.
🎼🎸. 🤟. It never gets old. Great album.
I love watching these guys gettin into the music the way they do. It is a pleasure to watch. They both have great ears for even the most subtle sounds.

Me,too!
Wow, me too! I have 10,000 now. I was 7.
2:20 One of my favorite moments in CCR's entire catalogue.
Not sure how much CCR you've reacted to but keep it coming.
Great album…. Bayou Country, Green River and Cosmo’s Factory… the 2nd, 3rd and 4th albums from Creedence… John Fogerty was a force …
Cosmo's Factory is one of my favorites. My sister had the cassette when it came out. Memories.
I was a kid growing up in Mexico City and loved CCR and this was one of my favorites, I wanted to live in California !, well I just completed 46 year living in the mighty California !, yes sir.
They were a big band, but generally overlooked & underrated. Crazy considering how many other bands they’ve influenced.
Great reaction! Don't forget "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" and "Long As I Can See The Light" two more gems from the same album.
Only seen maybe one other reactor do this tune. Always dug this one.
Excellent reaction to an excellent song, fellas!!
Freaking love that song always have it really goes under the radar but man I love that song. Thanks for doing it. ❤️🙏🏼
Same here!🎯
I ❤️ this tune 😅
Last half is their only, as far as I can tell, venture into psychedelia. Great song, both halves!
“Acid indigestion”

@ Yes, Suzie Q had some psyc moments for sure. I’ll have to check out Rude Awakening #2. Thx for the tip.
This guitar break made me a John Fogerty fan !
My favorite CCR track.
This is my all time favorite CCR song! Thanks for reacting to this.
Been waiting a long time for someone to react to this song . Knew I could rely on these guys.
What a jam!
Aloha gentleman, KEEP ON CHOOGLIN is a must. Live even . Peace and love
The start of a great album! John Fogerty released an LP with a similar album cover, except it's with his kids.
❤️ the shout out to the Elvis Presley live karate stuff with music, that is so funny. But I really enjoyed this whole thing. It's so fun.
Whole lp is Fogerty's best guitar and vocal work
🔥CCR🔥
Oh you betcha 🎉
My fave CCR album & one of my all time fave albums! dbl ♥
Anyone who has heard only all the great hits from CCR (and there are a lot of great hits), if you like those, you need to hear the deep cuts/whole albums. Powerful, incredible, like this track.
Great album, I was seven when it came out and played my brothers copy everyday.
That was really amazing thank you both
Fogerty & Co doin their thang!
Great video as always! Midnight Special is maybe my favorite CCR song, you guys for sure need to check it out one of these days!
I was 15 or 16 when this came out
Cosmo's Factory is probably the best album the band released (together with Willy and the Poor Boys one year earlier), you can't go wrong with it. This one was "just" the opening track. Their version of I Heard It throught the Graveyard is also a journey.
So happy to see this reaction!!
Bought this album when it first came out...every song is a banger❤
If you like this CCR vibe, you would enjoy the song Pagan Baby as well.
This is excellent.
Ahhh.. My favourite CCR song ( among so many classics) that bridge alone is worth it.

You guys👏🏼…..love your picks!💜
One of my favs! Thx gentlemen.
My fav..i about shit when i seen you all on this!!! When they stop singing at the beginning, i almost cry, because I know what’s next!!!😂
Best CCR song ever!

This song was the closer at their famous Royal Albert Hall concert

Wow, one of my favorites.
John Fogarty, CCR.
To make something sound like this....musical genius first class.

Great chase music
They always had such a unique sound. John Fogerty’s voice is raspy and strong. Just another band screwed over by the label and managers! Such a great sound thanks guys!
Vance don't dance ...
CCR. Every one
I was in a hard rock trio and we played a version of this. I was 17 and the guys I played with were older. Learned a lot. Cool song.
I believe I saw CCR's last concert. It was 1971, in San Diego. If my memory is correct the Fogerty brothers got in a massive fight after the show. You can’t mistake JF’s croonin’! Great voice
Some of their best song are their least known, this is a perfect example.

CCR known for concise pop gems but they could really stretch out and jam.
Don’t miss the EXCELLENT lyrics, gents!
It might not be their best song on the album but it is by FAR their best jam! Incredible driving Rock, Creedence rules on this and for all of Cosmos Factory.. We had the best music ever back then.

Kudos for picking one of their deep cuts. There's a lot more where that came from. Try "Gloomy" or "Walk on the Water" next.
Great instrumental section. Next, Effigy for more cool CCR deep cuts.
My first time hearing this. Definitely a different sound from CCR but a dang good one.Great reaction as usual!
A deep cut. There are a few deep cuts on their albums, but nobody ever reacts to it. I stll love their unpolished raw debut album, and Pendulum for the variations, the use of other instruments, and a few soul tracks on it.

tragically underrated song of theirs.. and I mean trainwreck tragedy how overlooked this jam is...
Actors in the White House......prophecy (they're alll actors.) (I've got blisters on my fingers! J.L.)
Jimi Hendrix - The Wind Cries Mary
Nice Rockabilly slapback on the guitar , kind of an early Elvis groove
The structure of this song reminds me of what Led Zeppelin does
Try "Keep On Chooglin" from CCR
Ccr
I think ot was 72 73 they put out 3 abums
Not a hit song radio wise for them but a fan favorite
Any chance you can get back to some Frank Mariano
You only did his cover of all along the watch tower
Be cool if you did some of his music
It's begun to rain live at the agora theater is great
