@@indie.x just general tips I'm a dd main at a 136k and only been healing a day bit managed to get dawnbringer first try just worried I'm gona mess this gryphon heart up
@@Czaxz honestly if you got db that easily i wouldnt worry too much about messing up your gh or being a detriment to the group just due to lack of healing experience. i used to be a dps main for years as well and swapped to debuff healing almost 2 years ago. a lot of it has to do with your knowledge of the game/characters you play and how you apply it vs actual healing reps. not saying repetition isnt important bc it most definitely is, but if you have experience already with the trial even on a different role, all the mechs stay the same, its just a matter of how you apply your knowledge on the new role you're doing and how put together your build is. things may feel a bit rough or you may feel overwhelmed but it will get easier the more comfortable you get on your role. in this video we only had 3 days to throw runs together to help get some friends the title. so this was a safe way to get gh. the run was slightly messy and the stacking was unorganized. so i had a heal intensive build, went through way more resources and had more difficulty in managing them (i was in spc+mk+spaulder). i imagine if i would of been in ro+jorvulds+spaulder the sustain wouldnt of been as troublesome. things i would recommend if you are just going for the title and arent worried about a crazy min-maxed setup (like trying to do off-damage or focusing on not being a full healer) is slotting expert evasion cp, alter, and i do like bone shield in there. other skills will be your standard (cbp, illustrious/healing springs, and wall. then you can pick some other hots like echoing vigor and/or mutagen). the free roll dodge is nice when trying to pick up ice as much as possible and you may need to roll to drop it on the mini tank or at a new tail location etc. there are also plenty of things that can happen during the fight where you may need to roll dodge (rele's heavy when he spawns in, rolling out of a cone if you cant move out of it, orb collisions). so if im running bone shield i will run that cp slottable and especially if i am in mk. bone shield also helps give access to major vitality and gives a shield for the group if certain mechs are going out during the fight that cause high incoming damage. it is also nice to use consistently in execute before/during baneful. basically ice management, making sure the group stacks properly and moves together as a unit while playing out mechanics are some important things to try and do in there when group healing. referring specifically to a nb, in cloudrest i like to run healthy offering on my resto bar (burst heal, procs minor mending, and gives access to the siphoning skill line passives which are 8% max mag and 3% healing done per each skill slotted). then i will slot another skill from the same skill line on my destro bar (normally siphoning strikes bc my sustain is bad in cloudrest. but if you are in rojo it may not be that bad and you could try power extraction but running too many stam skills in there with spaulder and as group healer can be sketchy and not worth it. so i just normally go with siphoning strikes bc more mag > not having enough stam to play out mechanics). i try to get the benefit of those passives on both my bars when i am able to (sometimes i dont have the space to on my back bar). other nb skills i like running are incap on my front bar and then slotting whatever ult i actually use on my back bar (which is normally horn in cloudrest), merciless resolve is also nice to run if you can swing it and dont feel like you need an extra hot or another skill. i especially like it when im running ro. nb's have awesome passives and good skill utilization imo, so im always trying to place my skills on my bars in a way where i can get the most effect out of them. i hope this helps. let me know if you have any other questions.
@@indie.x thank you this actually helped alot, I actually got it the night I commented I realised aswell that my sustain was my problem with healing but I changed my build around and I'm hitting 36k 40k combat pr in content wich is pretty nuts. I worked out that running recovery glyphs on jewellery is pretty much point less if you want to keep group alive as if your healing more than your mag recov your going to run yourself into the ground so I golden out 3infused rings and put reduce cost glyphs and I could do my rotation and use combat pr as my spammable instead of regen because I was able to sustain it and it works so good especially when there hitting nearly 40k. I also done what you have done and have slotted healthy offering on my front bar for the mending as I'm in Pillager naz and spc so I don't rly need to heavy attack alot so no other way of procing mending. I also slotted major evasion as you said and it helped quit alot because I kite quite close to group so that I can still heal them and then when portal comes up I run far back for shards, I appreciate your help.
@@Czaxz that is awesome, im happy you got it done! i feel bad bc i replied based on me thinking you were group healing XD so i apologize, my advice probably wasnt the most helpful since it sounds like you were kite healing. some of it is obviously good to know but yeah your setup and responsibilities will look different depending if you're kiting or group healing. :) but yeah congrats again and that is awesome you were able to test out some things with your setup and found out some things that worked well for you!
