"CK3AGOT is a total conversion mod set in the world of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy saga, where lords great and small vie for control over the lands of Ice and Fire. The mod takes its name from the first book in the series, as well as the “game” of plots and politics the ambitious and hopeful are said to be playing in their struggles for supremacy."
"A Song of Ice and Fire (commonly abbreviated as ASoIaF) is an ongoing series of epic fantasy novels by American novelist and screenwriter George R. R. Martin. Martin began writing the series in 1991 and the first volume was published in 1996.
The story of A Song of Ice and Fire takes place in a fictional world, primarily on a continent called Westeros but also on a large landmass to the east, known as Essos. Most of the characters are human but as the series progresses others are introduced, such as the cold and menacing supernatural Others from the far North and fire-breathing dragons from the East, both thought to be extinct by the humans of the story. There are three principal story lines in the series: the chronicling of a dynastic civil war for control of Westeros among several competing families; the rising threat of the Others, who dwell beyond an immense wall of ice that forms Westeros' northern border; and the ambition of Daenerys Targaryen, the exiled daughter of a king who was murdered in another civil war fifteen years before, to return to Westeros and claim her rightful throne. As the series progresses, the three story lines become increasingly interwoven and dependent upon each other."
"Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin, the first of which is A Game of Thrones. Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has a large ensemble cast and follows several story arcs throughout the course of the show. The first major arc concerns the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros through a web of political conflicts among the noble families either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from whoever sits on it. A second focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty, who has been exiled to Essos and is plotting to return and reclaim the throne. The third follows the Night's Watch, a military order defending the realm against threats from beyond Westeros's northern border."
Footage from Crusader Kings 3, Game of Thrones, and House of the Dragon used under fair use.

Also Howland Reed didn't stabbed Arthur Dayne in the back, he actually smoked him with his valyrian steel shotgun (basically canon)
It is known
It is known
Can confirm, I was the shotgun
My favorite Ned quote: “No, now it ends. Blast ‘em Howland!”
It is known.
I think the sigil of house Toland is a reference to the Targaryens failure of conquering Dorne, thus a dragon biting his own tail.
He sent his fool out to fight Aegon in solo combat.
@@tomfoolery5680 W lord Toland😂
Man Lord Toland was a funny one, I'm sure the fool was close to winning even.
From a wiki of ice and fire:
History. The Tolands successfully resisted the dragons of Aegon the Conqueror during the First Dornish War. The Lord Toland at the time sent out his champion to face Aegon. After Aegon slew the man, he learned that the man was Lord Toland's mad fool, and that Lord Toland himself had escaped, prompting Lord Toland to change House Tolands sigil from a green ghost on a field of yellow to a green dragon chasing and catching its own tail.
Ah interesting
House toland originally had a ghost sigil. They changed it to mock the targaryens
It's likely one of daenerys(the one who married a martell) is the ancestor of the current tolands which is why the youngest has dragon dreams
Yeah I must've missed the sigil thing during my research
@@fantasyhaven1 no worries at all. With so much research it's easy to miss a thing or two. You're killing it with this series! Keep up the outstanding work!
Regarding house Hull it’s probably a reference to Fire and Blood where Alyn Velaryon (the bastard of Hull) visits the Princess of Dorne and supposedly has an affair with her. Could be a bastard house of the two
Would be cool to see the Stormlands, how they portrayed the Marches, those islands to the south showed on the official asoiaf map or what sigil they gave House Whitehead rulers of the Weeping Town.
Probably a white head
@@Him_Him_ Don't know if they'll make it as obvious.
They have whitehead a red and blue on white sigil with 2 axes and 3 tear drops, its pretty decent.
House Wyl did so much more than that. During the first Dornish war, the lord of Wyl captured Orys Baratheon army. He chopped off all of their right hands when they returned all the survivors back to the Iron throne. That same Lord Wyl massacred a entire wedding in Cafferton which was held by House Cafferon and House Oakheart. He sold all the women at that wedding into slavery.
And he gelded the groom while his bride watched.
And then Orys Baratheon took his son's limbs.
It is hilarious how comically evil anything we hear about House Wyl is.
Babe wake up a new "all houses explained" video just dropped
Thank you for keep putting these out! Gonna make picking houses so much easier for any player.
Great vid! Btw, shady sands is probably a fallout 1 reference, there's a town in the desert with the same name 21:56
Awesome, I didn't catch that
Ashara Dayne = Darkstar
Gerold Dayne is a femboy, and ned stark fell for that trap
Can we get a like for the greatest knight in history, Dick Bean?
The Toland is in my headcannon a house of jokster, because If I remember correctly. The dragon sigil is not their first one, before Aegon conquest their sigil was a green ghost on a yellow field. When Aegon arrived to ghost hills the lord challenge him to a duel, and choose a old man (or a crippled I don't remember) to be his champion and make Aegon lose time while the tolands escape. After that they choose to change their sigil for their current one to fuck with Aegon, wich in my opinion is one of the most based thing in asoiaf universe
Lmfao I can't believe I missed that lore
Ser Arthur the Chad of the Morning Dayne.
34:00 During Aegon’s attempt at conquest they also captured Orys Baratheon and a bunch of other men and cut off their sword hands AFTER they signed peace. It does seem they are a cruel and dishonorable house
Absolutely love these videos! Dorne is my favourite place in AGOT
Bro is really becoming a CK3 AGOT channel lol
Back to animation next week!
@@fantasyhaven1 hype
Hey I’m here for it
So is that a problem? Ck3 is peak
Im a rebel so im voting for the vale next as its the place that seems to take the knight stuff the most seriously and i think thats neet
Stone Dornish are first men as much as andal. The Daynes are first men.
The lord of Gargalen used to have Doran as his squire. I know this because I played as him on an RP multiplayer.
Oberyn Martell - goes to King's Landing.
Dorne - "ROAD TRIP!"
Right after the part about the sword dawn i got an ad for dawn dish soap. Like u said dawn and the ad poped in
So great! I think your explanations are very coherent and relatable!
Hell yeah I love this series. thanks Fantasy Haven
This was awesome, subbed
Love these videos!
Does any dornish lord actually like, rule their lands? Or all all of them either going to King's landing with Oberyn or to Mereen?
Every single dornish noble is involved in some doomed conspiracy at all times
With "The Tor" there is actually a little reference at 13:28, the city of "Rigneyton" is actually referring to Robert Jordan's real name which is James Oliver Rigney. Can't really see any other references there that you didn't point out although it has been a couple of years since I read the books.
Great catch
13:11 Of the Counties here the Dreamy Dunes might also be a reference as there is an important desert culture in WoT while the World of Dreams and Dreaming is also a significant aspect of the books.
Of the Baronies shown in 13:21 the Province of Draught might be a generic desert reference?
(I was going to mention some other things which Haven mentioned so I deleted them)
But I can add at 13:52 that while Tarwin Gap is nowhere close to the nation of Andor the sigil given to it here of the White Lion on Red is the flag/sigil of Andor in WoT.
14:14 County of Stedding, wisible here, which is shown as being under Scourgehead Duchy but is also shown as part of the De Jure Duchy of the Tor and it is a Wheel of Time reference. Steddings are special locations that are the homes of the Ogier (closest comparison would be Ents, thought not exact) and within Steddings the One Power (the Magic System of WoT) does not work.
Another amazing video! I love putting these on a playlist to listen to them.
Thank you!
shady sands is a small town from the first fallout game
Love these videos, i dont know why but i do.
Thank you for putting a lot of time and effort into this video
I appreciate the comment
Could you do a quick walkthrough of all the Targaryen Kings in the ck3 mod? Have not seen this on UA-cam and would find it interesting to see these characters in the game. Great vid- thanks!
Cool idea, I'll add it to the list
Cant wait to get the Reach video for House Peake. Such a cool house.
Toland changed their banner to the Dragon actually to make fun of Aegon because they weren't defeated by him and tricked him into fighting their fool.
Good job
you're doing the Red God's work with these in depth videos, thank you
Martell's words are the best for sure!
5:44 haha, you missed the greenblood donnish there around the greenblood river. Sweet how you used ckiii to show the characters. ✅
Dickon Manwoody supremacy
Nothing in canon states Allyria went to Harrenhal. She just tells her nephew about Ashara and Ned which she could have learned about later.
Also, she is only betrothed at the time of canon (to Beric Dondarrion), so she must have been very young during Harrenhall. I don't think they used to drag children around on arduous journeys. We are talking some 16 years earlier in book canon, so even if she was 10, 26 would be a little old to be only engaged to be married to an heir. So, she was most likely a really young child. And with her age being a mistery, I am not too mad at a theory that Allyria was Ashara's daughter (Harrenhall baby; and Martin said that Brandon Stark left no bastard sons, but wasn't so definite on daughters; or she was Ned's that why she was telling Edric the love story of Ned and Ashara but withoutsuggesting Jon Snow came from it), who was claimed by her grandparents. This would explain a seemingly large age gap between her and Lord Dayne, Arthur, and Ashara. But that's neither here nor there.
Yronwood is ironwood. Y as I or Y as J is the cool way of spelling grrm does it all the time blackfire or wainwood or john royce or even in dorn wil all have y as i
I'm very disappointed that theres no Robyn of House Hood.
I am VERY interested in you doing an animated series on The Wheel of Time books. Just be sure to start with the prequel novel instead of reading in chronological order of when they were written.
🙏
Just realizing almost all the Dornish houses have metal sigils.
Lmao true, the Ironborn too
What is your favorite color?
Also do you think it’s possible could you do a ranking of favorite major and important minor houses like Tarly, Hightower, Manderly, Bolton and the like in the future?
I expected the sand dornish to look darker
That's great, I wish I knew how to download it. It tried once and couldn't
Aren't the daynes mostly of first men descent?
Stormlands next please
Storm lands! Ours is the fury!
12.25 gargalen on these nuts😂
lets go
I would love to see the reach
The Jackal could be an Anubis reference
Great series man. The North and The Vale is my favourite regions
3:26 😂
Storm ⛈️ lands
Is it possible that Andrey Dalt was sent to find Quentyn Martell?
Song name 2:30?
I was expecting more citrus puns, kinda disappointed.
I see a man of sour taste that enjoys citric jokes
Dickon Manwoody
Why house dayne family tree so small
I’m the kinda dude to marry into house Dayne and Blackmont as the Yronwoods and then take over dorne
I can’t believe the makers of a game as detailed as this, who put the most minor & obscure houses in the series in this game, didn’t even bother to change House Dayne of High Hermitage into a separate house & they didn’t change the sigil at all. That’s lame af, I was looking forward to see what they came up with for their sigil. I always imagined that their sigil would be the same as the main Daynes but instead of a purple background, it would be a navy blue background with a moon with the shooting star across it & the sword beside it since Gerold Daynes nickname is Darkstar (which I know refers to his emo status) it could also relate to his sigil & also there is the title of “Sword of the Evening” which one of the theories is (one I buy into) is that Daynes of High Hermitage that have wielded Dawn are given that title. Man that’s disappointing though
Waiting for NORTH houses...
Yeah his name is Dickon, ... Dickon Manwoody. ... I like that. - GRRM
DAYNES RISE UP
I'm just gonna say it here as it's appropriate, just because a society is sex positive and egalitarian, does not mean everyone would be okay with their husbands secretly pursuing a woman to fulfill their narcissistic goals.
Good point
N + A = J, and I will die on that hill XD
