It’s almost always caused by a drop or more of liquid through the back vent whenever I see this on customers Macs. The amount of people who carry their laptop to the car when it’s raining is crazy. Also just keeping your computer in a room with a sink can cause this, just one drop splashing across the room can fall anywhere-sometimes right through the back vent of a laptop.
