Idk why but your videos just came into my youtube recommendations since then I keep watching your videos even 2 year ago videos also. Frankly , I just addicted to ur videos.
Just wanted to thank you as have learned a lot from watching your videos. Did my first MacBook Air 2015 repair yesterday using advice from your videos. Had to replace the LVDS cable, LVDS connector and backlight fuse! Made it as easy as possible for myself following tips from you including using low melt solder to remove old connector, bought a cheapish microscope which again greatly helped as is impossible without and finally bought some decent flux. All in all went surprisingly well, took it slow and rewatched vids trying to copy your techniques. I messed up one connector using a fine tip, second attempt used a bigger tip which worked better. All in all the money spent on equipment was covered by the fix as would have cost more to have it done by a repair shop. So thank you from the UK. Salam
Another great video. Keep them coming! Also really great to hear you're expanding the inventory in your online shop. I would rather buy everything from you to support the channel than one of these other online shops, but until now your shop hasn't had enough parts. Looking forward to the upgrade!
Hi... I always watch your video.. love your process of trouble shooting... I am waiting for laptop Battery cell replacement and BMS jump start after replacing cell, a detailed video.. Regards Divakar
hello from mkd i do enjoy your videos and i was wondering if you ever considerd doing live videos to give tips, sugestions to us for something we dont know about your field of work thank you sorry for bad tiping english isnt my languege keep up the good work :)
Hi, if you can, can you show how to solder a headphone jack? I want to change the headphone jack of my laptop but a don't to destroy something, thanks you very much for all the videos.
My Macbook pro 2013 had same problem but service said that they must change the LCD screen. I didn't accept because cost was very high for a non retina screen. Now i know that screen replacement couldn' t change anything because the problem was on board.
Recently changed the same backlight driver. I’m now getting backlight but when I increase the brightness from the keyboard just before it reaches max the backlight cuts out. Should I try another backlight chip? Nice video by the way
Hello sir . I have a question. If we soldering IC on the board with the hot air, I find IC fly or move here and there. so Please if possible show us tricks and techniques to use hot air soldiering. Thanks. Have a nice day ahead
Perfect instructions on reflowing etc but I was wondering wen you remove the backlight chip n used the wick there were 2 solder balls that was touching n maybe they are both ground otherwise it would not have come on.
@@popcorny007 yah I realized it wen the MacBook powered on. Thx for the idea though. I am big fan of his videos n I know if there is something to worry he would have said something coz he is a genius in the electronic industry

How many videos on UA-cam did you make before you started getting subscribers? Was it a long time before you started. Because I’ve been trying to make a few UA-cam videos but not had many views and no subscribers.Jay
hello sir, I have a Macbook Pro 2012 laptop which only appears white on the laptop screen, but when I type I plug in the HDMI the external screen appears color and the laptop screen is still white. please provide the best solution.
90% of the boards have humidity, it is not always the cause of problems, but there is moisture in some components. the board probably attracts moisture (it is almost paper instead of fiber or plastic)
@@yomismo8841 Yeah, i've noticed a lot of these weird moisture, dust and corrosion yellow/blue clumps around certain board component leads while watching Apple board repair videos, but since i haven't worked on many Apple products myself, i just wrote it off as a user fault and didn't think much of it. I see you have the same suspicion as to what it might be causing it. Components, solder and chassis are material-wise same as with other brands and that leaves the mobo. Could it be the solder mask paint itself? I didn't expect the PCB material to be so "breathable" with that thick brown(black?) layer of paint on top, until you mentioned it.
Macbooks are known to catch liquid damage without the customer knowing.....It's inherent to Apple's design. (and yes, I do love Apple stuff, even owning a lot of them).

Perfect awesome repair 💓

What do u do with all the old broken components do u recycle them
Sometimes corrosion is caused by humidity rather than liquids.
Amazing bro you are legend
Sir, where do you get all those doner boards? Please let me know.
Hi mate when will the Camera/microscope but ready for order on your website
Love from India ❤️
you are great
Good work,, one 🍺 for way to home.👍

Super video sir thkyou information
Did you use the same chip or a new one?
What type of flux you are using? Lol just kidding. Keep with the good videos, I have learned a lot.
If you are testing components: when it bleeps you say "it is good". What does a bleep mean?
Woooo Nice videos how do I order the camera that you are using
These 3 people who disliked the video are sick...
Where did you buy the fine steel brush?
What's the estimated cost for doing that repair? I have a similar issue and am curious before sending it in. Thanks
Do you use lead free solder ?
What temperature do you have set on soldering gun and heat gun ? Thank you
nice sir 👍👍👍👍👍
Perfect instructions on reflowing etc but I was wondering wen you remove the backlight chip n used the wick there were 2 solder balls that was touching n maybe they are both ground otherwise it would not have come on.
That trace with two solder balls is most likely a shared ground pin

Hollywood style climax 😄😄
Sir any vacancy in your company??
🤗
What liquid do you use when cleaning the corrosion at 2:30?
Probably isopropyl alcohol. The best choice for cleaning electronics and removing flux.
👍👍👍
Apple hates you. But we love you.
Gj again as always

I got confused and was thinking about whats this air liquid dmg😂
apple products is a moisture magnet
How so?
