What time of year did you visit? I am curious because we want to do the tour. I really want to see the ice caves but someone said they only do those in winter for safety reasons.
This was in the middle of summer. I assume there are better caves in Winter but I have done a similar thing in Iceland in the middle of summer and it was just fine.
This is so beautiful. Sublime.
The archway at the base is amazing, but also sad that this is the point where the glacier continues to recede.
What hotel was this in olden?
