Kevin and Lill, It is just not about Norway, it is just about getting out there and experiencing life. It can 1 mile away or 10,000 as long as you are experiencing new things and pushing yourself to live life.
I’m from California, spent 2 weeks traveling through Norway and into the Arctic Circle in January 2019, and a 2 day excursion to Oslo in the summer of 2017. I am so impressed with Norway, it’s people and lifestyle. It is an incredibly beautiful country, so unique in its size, so much coastline and rugged gorgeous terrain. Best tasting water I’ve ever had. The darkness in the wintertime is tough, 3 pm feels like bedtime. I hope to return again, so much beauty.

Yea, i would really recommend Troms, theres the second biggest island in Norway there called Senja, its truly a pearl if you have time enough to explore it 😍
If you want to experience Norway in its fullest, come during the winter. We had guides who drive you out far away from civilization where there are no lights. Within the pitch black night we have gigantic, beautiful northern lights that come in several colors. Oh and btw, since its during the winter there is no sun. Meaning that you have northern lights for about 16 hours a day.
You should definetly visit segla, a mountain on Senja, Which is the coolest Island in Norway. From there you Can see the nothernlight almost every night in the winter

This was absolutely one of the most beautiful videos I have every seen! You should ALWAYS make videos like these. On your other video you mentioned that videos like these dont get as much views, well i hope that doesnt stop you from making something beautiful like this. Someone out there will always watch it and will love it, like me and many other.
A tip if you do: *Don't buy water bottles!* Everything is pretty exspensive here in Norway, so don't waste money on water. You can drink water from the tap, it's clean and for most of the times the same as bottled water.
Erik. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with the online community. Your Norway videos clearly show that your skills have taken the next step in their development. I can't wait to see your next adventure, as well as going back and viewing your ealier travels.
Thx EriK👏👍😊 As a Norwegian, also been visiting these places in my younger days, after watching your video, I created myself a brand new bucket list. This year will be a camping holiday by car in Norway due covid19 travel restrictions, hence plans for revisit. Also I would like to recommend Gaustadtoppen, Flåmsbana the worlds steepest railway, svolværgeita, 7 sisters mountain ridge, træna, telemarkskanalen. And finally Prekestolen. The pulpit rock near Stavanger, appearing in last mission impossible end scene. Fingers crossed for blue skies 😎
@Clapter Simply not true. Their history, culture, and language are all rooted in Scandinavia. In fact, the Icelandic language has remained incredibly unchanged from the Viking era, they could easily communicate with each other. They are surely Scandinavian.
You're right. Geography textbooks, sagas, and history that you can simply google is wrong. As long as it makes you feel good. If that's not a pretentious attitude, I don't know what is.
7:32 as a native who lives close to this place, I can tell you that what you say about the whirlpools being able to swallow ships is true. There was a time the bridge right there didn't exist. So large ferries and other large boats used to cross that water between Knaplundsøya and Straumøya back in the day. My grandma while she was alive used to talk about that, and even show me pictures of large vessels being swallowed by the whirlpools. And btw, thanks for paying a visit to my home town. The lovely Bodø.
Sometimes I think tourists appreciate Norway more than we do. I know I'm dreaming of beaches and palms, this stuff is just normal for us. Nice to see someone showing off our country without talking about how expensive everything is here, hehehe. Nice job!
idolina76 I was thinking the same thing, we forget what beautiful sceenery we live in! I need to stay up tonight so I can have a good look at the midnightsun 🌄
Dude, great job on this. Your verbal explanations of the trip were visually breathtaking at times too. Great job. Thx! You should try northern Norway in the winter when the sky just gets a deep blue from 10am-1pm and then the sky turns black again. That was an interesting experience. - the sun never rising...
I lived in norway but we moved to New York when I was 14 and I love it here but I kinda miss norway after seeing that video great work i love yore videos u really made me miss norway
I am really enjoying the content and the quality and the scenery. I'm a beach girl and will always want to see anything with a beach - Bali was my fave so far - I still really enjoyed this. Thanx again Erik!
I love Norway and their history. Vikings lived in these harsh conditions, which made them stronger. They had a saying that went something like 'Hard lands breed hard men'. Vikings were a very hygienic yet violent people. Even their women fought right beside them. And their pagan religion never fails to intrigue me. You should visit Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Bulgaria!
Norwegians, simply. Viking was just a profession. But Scandinavia really fascinates me and its effects in pop culture, books, movies, games. Check out the Norsca trailer for Warhammer Total War. :)
Agreed, Asma. Viking- and old history is totally fascinating. A big sea battle happened on the fjord just south from where I live in Molde, Norway. It took place near the island of Sekken in 1162 - 35 ships were involved.
It´s a matter of the words we use to describe that we are happy or content for something, I can only be proud of something that I accomplish myself, like building a house with my own hands. You have nothing to do with the natural beauty of Norway and you did not create it or choose to be born there. When it comes to the language the scandinavian languages are today quite poor and not very complex as compared to slavic or latin languages. Many countries have beautiful languages and culture and most countries have contributed more to human history, art, poetry and litterature than Norway ever has. Can´t you just be content with being from norway, what has pride got to do with it? I´m danish and I have worked for a norwegian company and yes, norway is amazing : )
He: pause the video and try to pronounce this word Me a Norwegian girl: says it how you should Also me: that wasn’t that hard😂 🥺 It was funnier in my head. Don’t Judge me 👉🏼👈🏼 i’m shy

I'm from Norway and I only knew about 2 of these... Never been to any though

Awww thank you sis
I love your language. Form norway!🥰😍
Wow. I HAVE to visit Norway someday.
A tip if you do: *Don't buy water bottles!* Everything is pretty exspensive here in Norway, so don't waste money on water. You can drink water from the tap, it's clean and for most of the times the same as bottled water.
Maladjusted Maverick the water in the water bottles tastes a little better so I disagree

Erik. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with the online community. Your Norway videos clearly show that your skills have taken the next step in their development. I can't wait to see your next adventure, as well as going back and viewing your ealier travels.
I am Norwegian, so I knew of all the places, but didnt know they are so beautiful! Most Norwegians take our nature for granted
Helt enig -_-
I knew none of these places and im norwegian XD
Thx EriK👏👍😊
As a Norwegian, also been visiting these places in my younger days, after watching your video, I created myself a brand new bucket list.
Norway is the jewel of Scandinavia.
Stunning scenery.
It is amazing.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💖💕💟💓💞💜💝💛💚💗
Norway is more like the gold chain... Iceland is the jewel!
@@calderon1492 Iceland is not really in Scandinavia
@Clapter Simply not true. Their history, culture, and language are all rooted in Scandinavia. In fact, the Icelandic language has remained incredibly unchanged from the Viking era, they could easily communicate with each other. They are surely Scandinavian.
@@calderon1492 but they're not a part of scandinavia
You're right. Geography textbooks, sagas, and history that you can simply google is wrong. As long as it makes you feel good. If that's not a pretentious attitude, I don't know what is.
Why have I only just discovered this channel? These are real travel stories, and really well made too
just posted my first youtube video on NORWAY! go check it out!
because you like reeds
i must say so this is really good channel
I live in Norway😊 I have never been to any off these places but it is beautiful here
@Malin Alexandra Kvam . That is funny. I live in the Netherlands and have visited most of these places. 😄
The lovely Bodø.
you should watch the northern light, its truly amazing

Watching this from Bangladesh.Love you Norway! Wish I can visit these places someday

I am really enjoying the content and the quality and the scenery. I'm a beach girl and will always want to see anything with a beach - Bali was my fave so far - I still really enjoyed this. Thanx again Erik!
He should have shown the beach called Hauklandstranden. Not far from where he went.
He has an itinerary probably set up by the company that brought him there.
Bali though ❤️

Norway is amazingly beautiful. The biking and boat cruise in between those wall pools is definitely NOT for the fainthearted!
8:31 I love how the guy in the background adds "and no poop"
I love Norway and their history. Vikings lived in these harsh conditions, which made them stronger. They had a saying that went something like 'Hard lands breed hard men'. Vikings were a very hygienic yet violent people. Even their women fought right beside them. And their pagan religion never fails to intrigue me. You should visit Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Bulgaria!
Awesome words! ^^ makes me proud of my country
I live in Norway❤️🇳🇴 I love Norway so much, it’s so beautiful here🇳🇴❤️

+Wolf Luna 🤙🏼 share the video with your friends from Norway !
how can you be proud of something you did not create?
Proud of being Norwegian I guess. I am as well.
why not be proud of being from a place with such immense beauty, culture, and sucha beautiful language as well?
You should try lofoten here in norway.
I’m Norwegian and live in the city of the last place you have in the video ☺️☺️☺️ beautiful video by the way
