Loved watching this set of videos, we go in just under 3 weeks time and it looks so amazing. Thanks for sharing your adventures, great easy watch and well put together
nuts - I was watching this as I just visited and noticed my wife in the background of the video. Looked at my photos and turns out I have you filming in the corner one of them lol.
Amazing what a journey I like the intervention by Jay and the telly tubbies do they have them in Norway ? such a wild place fresh air and scenery again well edited the Beatles would sing "its getting better all the time"
Just noticed in the video, when you show the skylift going up it’s in reverse as the cars on the road are going backwards and at the end when it’s coming down it’s also in reverse as the people are walking backwards away from the lift 😂😂
@seanrogers8686 good spot! I switched them round because the shot I used first was better 😉 I couldn't get to the front on the way up. Shows you watched the whole video so thank you 😁
That is a tough question. On a clear day the skylift is spectacular and is more relaxing than the glacier walk. I think it depends how much you want to see the glacier as you don't get much time to spend there compared to the skylift.
Have you booked with P&O or Olden Adventures? They booked the 10am Loen lake via Olden Adventures and if you select the skylift add on when you book, they drop you right at the skylift instead of taking you back to port. They met us up there around 3pm and we started heading back to port around 4:15pm (obviously depends when your ship is due to depart)
@@wanderingadventures thank you for explaining that. We was starting to panic as heard the queue back down skylift is crazy. We booked with olden adventures directly.
@ExtremeRoamer the queues come and go, and you can see through the glass how long it's looking. We waited until it died down so didn't have to wait long. As long as you set a cut off time for heading back down you should be fine. Speak to the staff at the top of the skylift too, they know how long you'll need to get back in plenty of time.
Great video, can I just ask how often do the buses run with olden adventures too and from the ski lift as we are planning on doing the same trip as you did.
Great video both, thanks for sharing. We're there April next year. 👍

Super video. Did you pre book with P&O?
@@elainemellor5729 we pre booked with Olden Adventures
What time did you have to be back at the ship for? You mentioned you left for the skylift at 2pm ... trying to see how long you got to explore.
All aboard was 5:30pm but we were back on the ship before then. We spent about an hour and a half up there
If you could only do the skylift or the glacier trip which would you do?

Thank you. I guess its less about the glacier & more about the views and proximity to them. I keep changing my mind. Thanks for your reply.
we are doing the Loen Lake and Kjenndal Glacier (which some of your group did) and sky lift. How was the timings? We booked the 10am excursion.
