- Amber Heard testified during her defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp that her role in 'Aquaman 2' was significantly paired down because "they" didn't want her in the film. Heard's attorney is trying to show that comments made by Depp's attorney after the abuse allegations were made public, that accused Heard of being the abuser and her claims were a hoax, had a permanently damaging affect on Heard's acting career.

I remember about a year ago when filming on Aquaman 2 first began, multiple articles and entertainment news programs came out and stated that Heard was not fulfilling her "Health and Wellness" clause in her contract. They were saying that she was unable to keep up with the physical demands of her character Mera, of which there were many. In fact I remember many reports coming out around that time covering issues revolving around Heard on the set of Aquaman 2. For instance, they experienced a major setback due to her legal issues concerning her perjury in Australia. These issues forced the Aquaman production to abandon their multimillion dollar under-water sets in Australia, which ended up setting filming back for quite some time. There was another issue where it was reported Heard had accidentally stabbed Jason Mamoa under his eye with a prop Trident, and injuring him in a way that rendered him unable to film. There was some confusion about that incident because the prop master had always kept protective caps on the sharp pointed ends of the Trident. These protective caps were somehow missing when Heard apparently stabbed Mamoa in the eye area. Obviously everyone should take the media with a grain of salt. The only aspect of these stories that I know to be unequivocally true is the abandonment of the under water set, and the fact that Mamoa under his eye and had to take time off from filming. Still, it wasn't just one or two sources coming out with these stories. There were many sources reporting this information at the time. I think it's important to note that Warner stood fiercely at Heards side the entire time she was under contract with Warner. Even in the face of an ever mounting petition to have Heard removed, Warner had Heards back until the bitter end. Going as far as to state that they weren't going to cave to "fan pressure" because they felt sense they had started the Aquaman franchise with Heard, sticking with her was best for the film. Although in the case of Depp losing his role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, where he had already starred in the first two installments, it was better to replace him (despite the fact he had already started filming the third). I think the reality of Heards diminished role in Aquaman 2 actually comes about due to her own inability to fullfil her contracted obligations. To be more precise, one specific obligation, being that Heard agreed not to drag Warner, the director, the producers, nor anyone else involved in the filming into the litigation suit with Depp. You can see that she did not uphold that agreement when you look over the public court transcripts. Even though it is very hard to see how anything or anyone involving Aquaman could be relevant to this current trial, due to the fact that Heard was no longer involved with Depp in anyway when she began filming the first Aquaman. None the less. She still did her best to drag Warner in. Interestingly enough, Warmer and Jason Mamoa stopped following Heards social media accounts before this trial started. What's even more interesting is the fact that Mamoa started following Depp instead. Clearly showing that his support is firmly in Depp's corner. Once again I believe Heard is staying true to her case strategy, which is lie at all costs.
Jason stated in an Ellen Interview that Amber shattered glass in a rant and his eyes got injured. As of today, May 20th 2022, he is following both on instagram.

Elon Musk has pictures of him and Amber together where he clearly has an injury on his face as well. I also saw a clip where Amber's sister Whitney being teased because Amber "kicked her ass." She's the one that went to the courthouse, when she didn't have to and requested a TRO that she didn't need, She's the one that alerted the paparazzi of when & where to be,, then paraded out the front door instead of using the discreet exits. She had to make sure the world would see her magic bruise that disappeared and reappeared, when it was convenient for her...it must've been the miracle "Amica cream" we keep hearing about? She made sure every media outlet had her pictures plastered everywhere. She's the one that sold the recording of JD assaulting some cabinets to TMZ. But she didn't want her private life out there.
She signed an NDA and agreed not to discuss her marriage, but she couldn't help herself and her desperate need for attention. She is the one that decided to write the op-ed because she had a big movie to promote and timed the article to post the same time as her movie. As if that's just a coincidence.

Visually upset until the Judge says let's take a break and then suddenly the pain is gone, as a domestic violence survivor I can tell you it never goes away like that. It's been 19 years since I ran away with nothing but a pickup, a box of clothes and moved 600 miles to freedom. Today I cried on my way home from the grocery store, because I suddenly flashed back to a time when going to the grocery store ended with a expired timer and a beating for not making it back in time. No matter how much counseling you have it never really goes away, it's just below the surface.

I am truly lucky I found a great guy who loves and supports me through the easy and hard stuff, that builds me up with all my flaws and understands that I have no control over PTSD. His family were strangers to me and they opened their hearts and home to me during my most difficult time after running away and became my second family when I couldn't be with my own.

People are learning the truth Amber! Her personality disorders will never allow her to accept personal responsibility for any of her own behaviors or words. She will continue to perpetuate this same cycle repeatedly with every new relationship she ever has until the day she dies. She is incapable of change bc genuine change comes from personal desire for it…people who lack the ability to accept that they are flawed in any behavior, do not see a need for change. Thus, making genuine change or personal growth next to impossible.

@@lunamarie3171 of course there is but for cluster B personalities that can not accept responsibility for their behavior, that therapy is generally (not without exception but generally) ineffective bc genuine change requires the individual to accept responsibility for their own behavior. For the person who externalizes blame for their behavior, the therapy is generally ineffective. As supported by expert testimony in this case, Heard externalizes blame for her behaviors and Heard even proved this testimony correct on cross-exam when she refuses to admit that she did not submit payment to the charities. So, I agree, therapy is always available but it is my opinion that any therapy for Heard will likely be ineffective.

@@GK-ku3zv On a more cheerful note she finally found the courage to leave him after 30 years (though she thought her life was over) and soon after met and married her current husband who proved to be the kindest, gentlest man I ever met. She has been perfectly happy with a loving husband for the last 20 years so my advice to anybody in that situation is get out now and let the future sort itself out :-)

For a child growing up with a parent who suffers from a mental disorder such as NPD or Boarderline PD, the clinical DSM5 disorders is extremely damaging. Look at JD and he’s an adult, they leave nothing but chaos and harm in their wake. Believe me, I know first hand. Not a parent, but my ex and the games are horrendous. I heard that they were trying to get her out of the movie over the weekend. There some sort of petition going around with 4-5 million signatures to get her out. But it's the first I've heard it. She makes it seem like it's been an ongoing thing.
From what I have heard in the media prior to her testifying about this, they have to cut down her screen time in Aquaman 2 to just 10 minutes when she originally played a much bigger role and they have no intention of having her retain her role in any future DC films. I think they probably would have removed her entirely from Aquaman 2 if it was possible, but unfortunately it's already been shot and to remove her entirely would require lots of expensive reshoots or the movie just wouldn't make sense.
