OMG, thanks for sharing how to fix this issue. I drain the water but then I got more water going into the bottom causing the I30 error again. What causing the water to go down triggering the switch is the front bottom seal. All I have to do is brush clean the seal and now it works. You just save me lots of money because I was thinking just to buy a new dishwasher.
Thank you man for sharing this useful video. I have been dealing with the i30 error on my Frigidaire dishwasher for two days. Your video saved me. The dishwasher is working normally now.
We have 3 little kids and my wife and I are essential workers so it’s been super demanding in my house. Our dishwasher stopped working with i30 error. my wife was going to have a melt down if our dishwasher is broken and we can’t have it serviced. Your video saved us a lot of extra stress. Thanks!
I must add my voice to so many below. THANK YOU! Your video was so easy to follow and understand and solved my i30 problem. No calling a service man or buying a new washer. God bless you!!!
WOW! Thanks for the video. You saved us from buying a new dishwasher. My hight pressure switch was full of gunk. Following your video totally fixed our dishwasher. That’s again!
Thanks for this! Was getting intermittent i20 faults on my Electrolux dishwasher for the longest time (resetting the breaker would clear it up for a few days). Then i30 showed up. The bottom tray was full of water, and pulling out that high-pressure sensor confirmed that it was full of goop. Cleaning it with a qtip did the trick!
Fantastic video! Was exactly the problem I had, followed your instructions and we were back up and running in 15 to 20 minutes. huge Time Saver, thank you for posting!
Thank you for your solution. I was originally mad with the useless details but it was good that you showed us your thought process. I learned a lot this way. Thank you for your insights!
I have a 2014 frigidaire professional washer but looks the Same under the hood. This worked like a charm!!! Thank you very much. That being said, It didn't help that I pinched the drain hose when putting it all back together, so I basically had to repeat the entire process again... Nonetheless cleaning out the gunk from the high pressure switch fixed the error message!
Thanks so much for sharing. Your video was great!! So easy to follow. You have a knack for this stuff. I don’t usually comment on videos but you saved me a lot of money. Thanks again.
Thank you SO much for this! I should have watched it before I gave a few hundred $$ to a useless repair company. I did what you said (and I am not a DIYer by any stretch of the imagination), and have just successfully run a load. Thank you!
thank you! looked at a lot videos everyone said to fix it from the inside by my dishwasher looked like your from inside but with these tips everything seems fixed so far at least! thanks a lot!
Thank you so much!! This was super helpful. I could have skipped to the last 30 seconds of the video, lol. But, it was very informative and worth the whole 10 minutes. Solved my problem. THANK YOU!
did you have to disconnect the washing machine from the wider plastic "drain" tube that hooks up to the kitchen sink/disposel in order to pull the unit out or did you just have to disconnect it from the water (in the front under the little panel at the bottom)
Thank you VERY much for this video!! Followed your direction here and was able to fix my problem. Got it fixed before spending money with a maint tech. THANK YOU!!
The code is from the float being lifted or water in the tray. When you cleaned the water out the float can close the circuit. So was the high pressure switch leaking making the try fill? Not sure what all was going on in this video or why you brought up the slime in the high pressure sensor?
Our sensor was clogged with grossness. I cleaned it and after 1 day of testing it still works. U saved us $ by not having to call a repair tech. I'd like to give some $ to a charity you like as a thanx. What charities do you favor?
Went through the same thing this past Sunday. Kept me off my motorcycle in the afternoon too! haven't fixed it but I'll give your suggestions a shot. Pain in the buttocks!
Peace be to you, Great Video. Yaweh in Jesus name bless the man and family ten fold for saving me time money and dish pan hands. I fixed my stubborn i30 ferror by floater bob dual pan drying. I hate Satan. He's a dirty dish.
Our dishwasher is giving the same error, would it be dangerous to let it run like this? Or should I turn the breaker off and pull out the washer and unplug the power?
I have the extended warranty on this dishwasher and had it repaired by replacing the pressure valve 3 times. Wondering if you found a new dishwasher that you would recommend or are you still using this?
I removed my pressure valve rinsed with vinegar and hot water and a q- tips, fixed my washer, and saved me 5-800.00 bucks cause I didn’t have to buy a new one. I willl not buy anymore gallery appliances , had issues with the fridge already, that stuff is all junk.
My frigidaire gallery made it to a year and a half, used maybe once a week when the kids came over.. probably 30 runs tops. Garbage. Looking at a Cove.
Hey man, saved my day! We previously had i20 (clean the sensor pipes blaah blaah), but now had i30. With your very "thorough" :) explanation I was able to find water from "secondary" section from my AEG (looks very much the same as yours). Runs now first test run (will check the sensor after test run). Seems to me, problem solved! Cheers!
There is a you tube on it, press first and third button hold down then when all are illuminated hit the 3rd button again and it will recalibrate your machine takes about 10-15 minutes once its black you can resume washes

This was awesome. May your tires never go flat.

I really appreciate you posting this video. Our machines aren't exactly the same but it led me to the problem and I was able to fix it, thank you!

You just saved me several hours of troubleshooting and cursing.
Glad I looked up the i30 error before calling a repair company. This did the trick as my switch was filled with the slime as well. Thanks!
Awesome video. Thank you. Worked perfect
This helped me sort out my problem too. Thanks
Great video, our dishwasher had the same problem and I was able to clean the pressure switch and it solved the issue. Thank you
Wow! Thank you!!!! Is there
Any way to turn the dishwasher off besides the breaker? Ours is connected to the stove and that sucks 😫
Thank you so much!! This was super helpful. I could have skipped to the last 30 seconds of the video, lol. But, it was very informative and worth the whole 10 minutes. Solved my problem. THANK YOU!
Thank you! without this I wouldn't have been able to fix my dishwasher code I30. You saved me a $150 service call.

Great video. For me, it was just a matter of vacuuming up the excess water around the float as you showed. Thanks!
Solve the problem, thanks for your help was good 10 minutes of learning !!! 👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome. Thanks for the help.
thank you for this, it has never worked correctly and was not cheap. Thanks again and stay safe
Thanks, can't thank you enough for posting this, solved my problem in 15 minuets!
You're awesome!! Thanks. I'm going to go put my project clothes on and get started

Thank you. This just happened. You are the best.
Great vid. Thank you so much -
That was exactly my problem. You saved me a new dishwasher!
Fixed my issue! Thank you =D

This helped alot. Thanks so much. I thought I was gonna have to call someone to fix it.
Thank you, for things you did that did NOT solve the problem and the final answer. Quite entertaining since we have all been there.
ua-cam.com/video/iaZFHbr8bbo/v-deo.html if you want a video on how to remove the sensor.
Exactly what happened to mine. Great video. Fixed my problem. Thank you for the help
That this fixed my problem too!!! Very helpful
Very helpful, thanks for this video!!

Just cleaned it out, it was nasty....we'll see if it fixes it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much
Same problem here. Did u fix problem by replacing the Frigidaire A0005540 Dishwasher Switch?
SOLVED! Thanks for posting the video! BTW, I hate this dishwasher
I don’t like mine either they don’t clean dishes well at all.
Was that slime electrical grease ?
Thanks for sharing, I will feedback when finished with mine!
Peace be to you,

He's a dirty dish.
for me it ended up being a broken O ring inside of the pump was causing the leak. My machine was only 5 months old at the time
I removed the little black plastic filter piece with the “ ears” but I can’t get it back on. Any advice on how to put it back?
Our dishwasher is giving the same error, would it be dangerous to let it run like this? Or should I turn the breaker off and pull out the washer and unplug the power?
Thanks, this video helped me alot.

You need to take that sticker off the inside of the door buddy. Fragments of that thing might be getting into your sensor. :)
How do you get that valve out of the machine? Im dumbfounded? Haha my hands are small and I cant get it ourt
Do you know my friend Thomas?
My frigidaire gallery made it to a year and a half, used maybe once a week when the kids came over.. probably 30 runs tops. Garbage. Looking at a Cove.

really helpful ....
Thank you!
Guy i have small hands and how the hell are you getting that valve out of there?? 😂
heh, at least yours doesn't beep constantly, and only taking the cord for half a day at least off will make it stop...
How do you reset the code after you are finished?
There is a you tube on it, press first and third button hold down then when all are illuminated hit the 3rd button again and it will recalibrate your machine takes about 10-15 minutes once its black you can resume washes
Thank you... hoping the code stays away fingers crossed
Didn't help.
My God man get to the point!
Just get to the point. No need for your life story
Hey buddy next time don't be so cheap and call a service man.😁
Lmao he saved so many of us ridiculous fees😎
