Excellent tutorial. I woke up early this morning to my drain pump running non-stop, even with the door open. Code i30. Turned off the breaker. Started my troubleshooting and narrowed it down to this switch. Checked my local appliance parts distributor inventory on-line, and they had it in stock. I checked UA-cam for a "how-to" video to make sure I was going to do the job right. Found this video. Went to get the switch, did the repair, back up & running normally now. Thanks for posting !

Can you share the link for the site where I can acquire this "update kit"?
I have to say a Huge Thank you for your video. Our local repair man refused to work on my dishwasher so it was off to youtube all of ten minutes to fix and its back and running again!
So glad i found this video. I have been getting i20 error codes for months, totally intermittent, and am working with a repair person who is stumped and recommending I replace the control board or get a new unit altogether. My unit is not even 3 years old. Will try this tomorrow. Thanks!
Did it work?
THANK YOU!!!!! Such a clear video which helped both diagnose and fix the issue!

Nice video! I'm having this issue right after the repair guy came by to deal with an I30 error. Now I get both and I30 and a I20 error. Good thing I'm still under warranty!

Thanks so much. So helpful
Do you have a link or part number for this kit? My Frigidaire FGID2474QF5B is throwing the i20 code.
I had this issue and was able to resolve it by removing the filter, filling the reservoir with hot water (close to a boil), letting it sit for 5 mins, and then placing my shop vac hose in front of the sensor opening (make it near airtight if possible using your fingers). I was able to suck the clog/debris away from the sensor and my unit is up and running again. Hope this works for others.

Boiling water sounds good. I poured some diluted bleach thought I had it fixed but no good
Update sprayed the hole inside the washer with some carb cleaner , poured a cup of bleach and boiling water . Turned it on everything drained then started and runs again 👍
Thanks it works!!!!
Thanks for the video, solved my problem in a jiffy!

This really was helpful. Not sure if it fixed my problem for good but with the first test run it's looking good.
So my AEG first gave error code i30. Looking under the machine it was letting water out from the overflow hose. Tried couple of tricks I found from other videos but the problem didn't go away. Every time I started the machine it would take water in and spit it our from the overflow hose giving error i30. One time instead of flowing out the water it just took the water in and gave error code i10.
Taking out the pressure sensor it was full of debris. Cleaned it with hot water and after that everything seems to work okay. Gotta run it few more times to be sure.
Thanks!
Good technicians

Quick question, is there supposed to be a screw through the hole in the grey plug on the right side of the sump assembly (next to where the tub is screwed to the sump)? I cannot see in your video (there is glare from the lighting), and the parts listing does not give a name to this (sub) part which makes it difficult to search for or talk about properly. My dishwasher had one but it rusted away and I'm wondering if it was put there in error. Also

Having a hard time taking the switch out. What exactly do I have to do with the screwdriver?
Actually I figured it out! Just had to push the clip down....no idea why I was pushing up on it!!! Duh! Thanks it was filled with what looked like a slug! Cleaned it out with a pipe cleaner and running a quick cycle now!

It was not a diagnosis , you should have show us how did u discover that the pressure switch is faulty? Any measurement/testing done?
He talked about the error codes your washer gives. That's a good hint!
@@jim7971Yes I know the error code was the first step in the diagnosis but how it was discovered that the error was because of pressure switch or drain pump or inlet valve? There should be a testing done by multimeter to discover the issue of pressure switch for example
say, would this fall under warranty?
