Do i need to do a relearn after installing the stepper motor

Need help. So I am getting P0705 wich is a nuetral saftey switch/range sensor. When i shift to nuetral and drive the icon dissappears from the cluster and it is in like limp mode in D. I have replaced exactly what you did because i heard it was the stepper motor but i replaced and still the same situation. However i did not check spring loaded rod piece to see if it free but i will be when i go back in. Is the nuetral safety/range switch that other connector that runs from the other side of the valve body to the top outer shell where the linkage is? Thanks for the information ahead of time if you know.

Good explanation but it’s a 14mm combination wrench, not an Allen. Also Toyota has never used 11mm anything. Are you sure they weren’t 10mm? If not that’s a new thing. Very few manufacturers use 11mm. Makes zero sense lol

Hey I changed out a step motor for the same vehicle you’re working on. After the replacement the gear stays on L and the car doesn’t crank. Have you had this problem?

Wat tool did u use to take off the transmission case I got the same car n it’s doing the same thing especially wen it gets warm but it stops wen I turn the car off n turn it bacc on

Do you have a video that shows how to pull down the transmission valve body I took out all the bolts and it still won’t come off or down

That "sludge" is metal debris coming from the converter's clutch. It's normal... To a point. With that much, I'd expect the converter to be on its way out.

For y'all people wandering, I had same codes on a maxima 2014 3.5 and I changed the whole valve body, it didn't work. Conclusion, don't wait to change the transmission fluid until it's too late! The fluid was dark af, with metal shavings
