80 pounds of elderly woman was a threat? No. This was cruelty just for the thrill. Shameful and truly disturbing. A BIG thank you to the concerned citizen.
I had no idea this happened, I'm heartbroken for Karen. She was picking flowers and the consequences were broken bones and humiliation.
Being a retired RN who loved working in long term care taking care of special people just like this little lady, this is heartbreaking. She is such a tiny frail woman and seems so sweet. I'll never understand why people do the things they do.
I'm sick to my stomach hearing about this case. They should've been fired. No pension or benefits. The Officer's and his supervisor both should be bought up on elder abuse and conspiracy since he wanted to use intimidation. Only sociopaths are entertained by the pain of a injured or vulnerable person.
It should be illegal to turn off a body cam during an arrest or whilst interacting with anyone.

The lack of common sense, decency and humanity is appalling. These officers should be prosecuted. I am proud of the citizen who stood up to the officers. They are thugs clear and simple. I hope Karen Garner is healing mentally and physically.
The fact that they were laughing and making fun of her especially sickens me.
The video from the jail is absolutely sickening. The sheer glee in Hopp's voice when he realizes that he can use force on an old lady is nothing short of evil. He sounds like a 10-year old opening a long awaited Christmas present. Then he is proud of dislocating her shoulder.
There is a true hero in what was filmed.
It's concerning enough that they kept abusing her over and over again, but the fact that they were so joyful while rewatching an old woman's pain and suffering gives me major psychopathic vibes.
The citizen that confronted the police is absolutely a HERO! Thankfully he was not injured, but that poor woman 😢 I pray that she heals and can recover from the assault ! My heart breaks for the pain and suffering she had to endure from those awful police officers .
Thank goodness for that concerned citizen (I know this has been said many times in the comment section, but he deserves all the praise in the world).
Update: The two officers making the arrest have now been charged.

The fact that he was proud of himself for what he did to Karen is disturbing. Thank God that the citizen witness what was going on and spoke up. Great video Dr Grande!!
I’ve listened to dozens of your videos involving vicious murder, horrific abuse, and sociopathic serial killers, but none of those affected me like this one. As I listened, I found myself vacillating between a deep sense of rage and overwhelming sorrow. For the first time since discovering your channel, I cried. Dr. Grande, I applaud your ability to remain calm and rational while explaining a situation which obviously deeply upset and concerned you! I could never have maintained the level of professionalism you exhibited during this video.
They tortured that elderly, innocent, frail woman. All involved need to be sent to prison for life. No parole. They were monsters!
