I think the card flip animation could be improved to be smoother, and to have double-faced cards flip into their other face rather than a Magic back.
Shilgengar + Solemnity.
Sacrifice your entire board of creatures to generate six blood tokens, sacrifice those to the demon to bring them all back, and Solemnity prevents the finality counters to allow you to do it again.
I find your lack of Eldrazi disturbing. We have cookies in the blind eternities.

@@pauljimerson8218 Emrakul told everyone they were gonna like her cookies, regardless of their actual feelings. Ulamog's cookies were already eaten due to his ceaseless hunger. And Kozilek's cookies were good but were kind of hard. Almost as hard as something like Bismuth.
They were used to pay Emrakul’s _”Emerge”_ cost with onboard Herigast.
Yeah, I'm forcing an Eldrazi deck at least once in this format.
Colourless bitches
You mention that detective's phoenix can only bestow from the graveyard. It can bestow from the hand, and that can absolutely just send in a lot of damage out of nowhere from your hand.
Ah yes, I didn't mean to say you could only bestow it out of the graveyard, but that you can only get it back from the graveyard by bestowing it.

I'm actually a bit surprised titan's vanguard didn't at least get an honorable mention. I think I'd first pick it over even some of the cards in your top 10. Also I'm a bit lower on abstruse appropriation cause sometimes it's gonna be tough to actually cast the thing you exile cause neither white nor black is particularly great at producing colorless mana.
My dream game from this set
Turn 1: Land, 1 mana creature, flare of cultivation
Turn 2: Land, Eldrazi Repurposer/3 mana ramp creature
Turn 3: Land, emerge Herigast Erupting Nullkite, emerge kozilek
Coming to this a month later and seeing Nadu only @ #7 after how it dominated the PT
Combining Herigast's emerge ability with "gain control of target creature until end of turn" effects is gonna be busted. There's a ton of card that can do that in Red
I think you're misunderstanding Abstruse Appropriation. You can only use colorless mana as if it were any color to cast the exiled spell. So if you're black/white and all you have are plains and swamps, and the card you exiled isn't white/black, then you can't cast it.

I agree, it definitely shouldn't be number 2 on the list. If you're behind on board and their best thing is a 2/2 flyer, thats what you get from the spell. And, as you say, you need colorless to cast the spell, so if its multicolored then you need those colors or more than one colorless source to cast what you removed
I don't think it's worth mentioning. Between things that create eldrazi spawn and mana rocks that tap for colorless I feel like you can easily build around it if you don't have wastes.
Crabomination is definitely going in a deck where I can use cheap blink effects.

Genku seems like better Wrath protection than a bomb. It's never bad but mid game a creature that dies and makes a 1/1 or a 2/2 is decent. Wraths are Bru rare in limited.
Shrieking drake is in the set too. That's basically "pay UUU" get one of each on your turn lol
good video, i love your content, but do you think adding "for limited" to the title would have been more helpful and precise? i know most of your content is centered around limited, but i clicked on the video wondering if you were talking about more than just limited due to the title (which may be have been the point, idk)
Talking about a card's floor / ceiling is a helpful analagy.
Crazy that a set with another Emrakul & Ulamog is powerful enough to not have either be a top 10 bomb or even an honorable mention.
Haven't played MTG since Aftermath, but really looking forward to trying to draft this set!

WowAbstruse Appropriation is just Utter End from Khans block with 2 upsides. It has devoid so it gets around protection from white n black (not that protection shows up very often anymore but for older formats that helps) n u get to cast the thing u exile at any point in the future without neededing the right colours of mana. Power creep is insane.
I hope Nizzahon is able to stick with Midnight CT. The 1am releases was throwing me off.
How many times will the Crabomination just exile 2 lands?
I gotta disagree with obstruse appropriation. Oftentimes you will exile cards that you don't have the color mana for and the orzhov deck doesn't play eldrazi so it doesn't have much of a reason to include colorless mana lands
CraBOMBination. It has to be it.
crabomination still exiles a card from their hand even if it doesn't end up being the card u cast, so it's always a 3 for 1 unless they have no cards in hand, or you exile 3 lands

Your number 2 shouldn't be on the list. It's usually just a 4 mana removal.

I honestly hate this set from what I've seen. Power leap combined with a ridiculous price and commander precons I just have zero interest in buying from this set.
They need to ban this set in commander! Once we get searchers we will hit Yugioh levels of power creep and make every deck an otk. That's why I stopped playing yugioh years back. Now it's coming for mtg. Commander is about fun.
Cedh has always had otks.
Casual commander just generally has an unspoken rule that you don’t do that. Not really any reason for a ban.
@-ZH yeah, rule 0 in most games of non cEDH is no wins before turn 5. So plenty of time to build, hopefully.
