    What I did with mine I have a Mota 55 pound thrust what I did was have a custom cut by a dealership that deals with Minnkota so my warranty is still valid. cut it down to 28 inches. It’ll be perfect for your kayak. Trust me. I got three motors that I had custom cut and it works just fine.

    I’m confused…how do you secure the 2x4 block of wood to the boat? Is it just drilled through to the crate? Nothing actually attaching it to the boat at all?

    • @NoPro1962
      @NoPro1962  5 місяців тому

      Thanks for viewing I thought I put it all in the video. I will watch it back when I have time the 2 x 4 is attached to the milk crate. I sandwiched it with a 11 inch 2x4 on the inside top of the crate with three heavy Bolts if that’s what you’re asking thanks for viewing and comment. Let me know if that was what you were talking about.✌🏻

      @@NoPro1962that’s awesome! Does the weight of the battery and the bungees keep it secure in the boat then even with the weight of that big old 55lb thrust motor hanging off the side?
