Wow, how has this only got 8 thousand views? Fantastic video. Great narration. Learned so much and now interested in staying in one of the accommodation
What a wonderful video! The island of Lundy popped up on my UA-cam yesterday. I'd never heard of it before. Sometimes I have trouble understanding Brit speak but this narrator did a great job! The variety of wildlife is amazing on such a small piece of land. Thank you!
Congratulations on a fabulous piece of videography. A professional and highly enjoyable piece. Keep doing what you are doing. You have taken me to a place that I would never in reality be able to visit as I am a wheelchair user. I had no idea there was so much animal and bird life on the island. A joy to watch. Thank you.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I'm thrilled that I was able to introduce you to this fascinating little island, and appreciate your kindness in telling me.
This is absolutely lovely. We plan to go to Lundy soon and this was an education and a delight. It was really helpful in laying out expectations on walking, timings and what to look out for. Thank you.
Thank you for this wonderful & informative video. I am visiting Lundy for the 1st time in June staying for 4 nights & your video has already answered many questions & given me lots of very useful information on what to look out for & enjoy. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this film… I’m heading to Lundy in the morning and this was the perfect preparation. Really focused on what an ordinary visitor might see and experience on the island, and allows the landscape and wildlife to take centre stage whilst providing helpful commentary. Could also be good for remembering and reflecting on Lundy after a trip, or just dipping into the world of it even with no plan to go there. Clearly a labour of love for this place. Thank you!
Fantastic video Rob, thankyou for the in-depth narration and beautiful videography, very inspiring. I am planning a short stay on Lundy with my son so this was really helpful.
Excellent video bro. I have been to Lundy, but only for one afternoon. So I didn't get to soak in this beautiful place. I recommend that people go there just to escape the rat race for a while. It's just got the right mix of everything, without feeling too isolated.
Excellent video , Lundy has been on my list for ages but would only be interested in going for at least 3 days , I've looked in to the day trip before but I seem to recall it only gives you about 5 hours to explore and will make you keep checking the time in my opinion , I'd rather be there at a more leisurely pace
Thank you! Yes, if you travel to and from Ilfracombe, you only get 3 1/2 hours on the island; but from Bideford around double that. So you can see a fair bit on a Bideford sailing; but staying over is far better. Unfortunately, apart from camping, which is usually available, most accommodation is so popular that you need to book many months ahead!
I follow the Landmark Trust on Facebook and they seem to regularly advertise cancellations for their properties for some reason , I'm not sure my kids are old enough to appreciate Lundy at the mo but I will get there. I've subscribed too and will watch the other couple of videos soon and look forward to more, I forwarded the video to my Mum and Dad too who also said how good it was . All the best
It was deliberately concentrated on the wildlife and environment, and I wanted to keep below an hour. Hence no time to explore buildings or to focus on people: that would be a whole new film.
Wonderful. This is now the gold standard of Lundy documentaries.
Such a fabulous comment! You can imagine how happy I am with that. Thank you, Ashley!
Excellent work and truly a Joy to watch. Thank you 👍❤
So pleased that you enjoyed it. Thank you for your kind comments.

@@plodonsteady4712 Brilliant. Thank you!
Great photography. Pity to leave the details of St Helen's Church out though.

@@robdurrant6630 I look forward to it. I appreciated your outstanding photography.
