While I am using Oracal 651, it's pretty common and should be available anywhere, it is not considered laser safe. It will give off toxic fumes, laser safe vinyl is available, i believe it's made from polyurethane. I read somewhere that most Siser vinyl is laser safe but do your own research and confirm that before using. The protective vinyl is Vvivid stencil vinyl and I get that from amazon.

Vinyl is really dangerous to laser cut. Unless you buy it for laser cutting from a reputable source, it is one of the biggest do not cut materials.
