Thanks for a great demonstration. I have just replaced my (previous) Halo "Smart" Dimmers & Switches because Halo no longer manufactures them and will eventually abandon "support." My experience so far with Leviton is what one would expect: superb. I especially appreciate the ability to set auto on/off for Sunset/Sunrise with the ability to adjust activation up to 120 minutes either side of those events. Your "add a 3-way" demo also encourages me to do likewise. Thanks, again!
Could the smart switch (D215S) be installed with a "wired" companion switch (DD0SR) NOT the wireless one (DAWSC) from the old 3-way switch wiring? Would be great to not need the battery to worry about on the wireless version.
100% agree. I've been struggling with trying to install the D26HD in 3-way config with the DD0SR and can't find tutorials on this anywhere! Single pole is no problem and D26HD with wireless switch is no problem but try to install the 3-way wired config and it levels up the difficulty significantly and Leviton doesnt offer much for troubleshooting. Any help is welcome 🙏

Thank you for this great instructional video. The remote is a great idea! I wish it worked with Smartthings. It would make for a neater install for smart bulbs or smart outlets than these "buttons" (like Flic or the Ikea ones) that I currently have. I will be looking forward to your upcoming review on it. Thanks!
can you do an installation that already has 2 3 ways and 1 4 way wired and I want to add 1 wifi smart switch to be controlled by the app, but also add a wireless remote switch in a random spot of the house, just wondering about how to go about that and what type or catalog number switches I need?
Thanks for this video. I have installed 12 G2 Leviton switches and dimmers. Does the wireless remote have the locator light that the hardwired dimmer or switch has?
Yes, thanks for sharing. They just came out with a Leviton Smart Dimmer Switch that does not require a neutral wire you can find it here: amzn.to/3kVPjSn I've also got an updated video that shows you how to install the no neutral smart switch here: ua-cam.com/video/J9IwImVdMNM/v-deo.html
Is there any difference between the Leviton 1st gen (DW6HD) and the 2nd gen (D26HD)? They don't make the 1st gen anymore and they're getting harder to find.
I still don't know why Leviton opt'd to use wires instead of the inserts like their GEN1 dimmers. It consumes additional space of the already cramped electrical box. I hope they will go back to the GEN1 for their GEN3... whenever that's released.
Hey Greg, I've had one with one battery for 4 years and use it 2 to 4 times a day and it has a green light on the top of the paddle and have never replaced and nickel size battery? What are you thinking.

Very nice and clear explanation

can you use a regular 3-way switch in combination with a D215S?

Do you have any videos of using wiring this system to just add another switch where you don't have an existing 3 way switch?
Great instructional video. I will use it to install my new switches.
What about the wireless one is remained as the traditional one? Do we need to do any wiring change on that?
Can this dimmer be used along with a normal 3-way switch?
did you ever find this out?

Thanks, based on this video and Leviton Smart switch directions, the only way to connect a 3 or 4-way switch circuit is to use the Anywhere companion?

life saver … Excellent video
Can cap the three in the right side box separately or it has to be together like you did? I don’t know anything about this 😆
I can't get my DSWSC to pair with my D215S ... green flashing light never stops ... do you have any tips?
Excellent tutorial. Would have liked to see you manually operating the wireless switch, though.
Thay do have a switch that can be used without a neutral wire but you need to know what is in the the box , I had to special order one from back East.

I think the wireless 3way only works with the 2nd gen D26HD

Great job
Thanks for the help it easy great simple explanation. I subscribe to your channel.
I’m disappointed that the author didn’t respond to any of these comment questions.
Why did you even run a wire to the other box? 😂 you could just cut in a box anywhere you want
The video is so long for no reason, I got tired of watching after 3min
Thumbs down. This is not 3 way wiring.
Battery powered light switches are a joke. I seriously wish manufacturers would stop making switches like that.
why are they a joke? what kind of issues have you had with them?
