- This is the final design of the Siberian RV by Provan Industries.
This is modeled after the Malayan which is smaller than the Siberian.
However both models are no longer made. Provan industries only makes the smallest the Bengal.
I love this rig inside and out. Just as good as the earthroamer but without the super OVERINFLATED price. Good job !
this car does not have earthroamer technology...and to be honest most of the expedition vehicles are expensive from 300k to 2 mil...
That's one of the nicer ones I've seen. It's crazy nice!! I would rather have the back seats used as living space though
As in a single cab? I agree especially since is appears more geared toward two people, unless either the driver is really tall or the passenger likes to recline on the road. I guess giving up a few feet of living space may not be a bad trade-off considering on the road comforts. Nice rig either way... the price point seemed more than competitive.

I enjoy my Malayan, it has done well so far.
This Siberian Rv is such an off-road presence with ample storage conveniently located at the back and those lockable shelves are efficient to keep things tight as the RV is in motion. The spacing inside is functional too.

This is PERFECT! Would prefer rear seats but I’ll take it.
If by rear seats you're referring to real seats (second row) in the cab, I think that was standard. The option was storage there. Nice rig tho.
@@mikeanderson8939 They could be built with the crew seats left in, as I did in mine or taken out and a platform installed.

I like it! i look at it as, the Earthroamer is the five nines, and the Siberian is the four nines version of this platform. I hope they work out the sourcing and perhaps follow suit with the transition to vacuum carbon body builds and get this offering back up.

Siberian are no longer in production but if there is interest I think they could be resurrected. The cost as shown was around $225
Way cheaper than an Earth Roamer...could be why they closed.

Does anyone know if you could get seatbelts put on the bench seating area in the back of the rig near the bathroom? Would like to have the flat storage behind driver's seat rather than 2nd row seating as you could use that area for the kid to sleep, but also want him to have a seatbelt for when we're driving. Or if you get the upgraded storage platform, can you interchange it with a seat with seatbelt? Like switch them out back and forth? Or the storage platform is permanently mounted?

Pretty much a scaled down EarthRoamer as far as options and materials, and suspension features! If it proves as reliable and goes for about half the cost as well, it could be a nice compromise for many!

Amazing car
Curious about the capacities (fuel, fresh & gray water tanks). Unfortunately a lot of video "walkthroughs" for various products don't include the important numbers. Also the dimensions would be nice.
These units are no longer made. The fresh water was 40 gallons, the grey was 20 gallons, the black on the cassette toilet is 6 gallons, with a composting toilet there is no black tank. The unit is 29 feet long. Height is 11 feet.
How do you get into the bed
Is there any way to purchase a used one? If so, how much would it cost?

The Siberian and the Malayan are no longer in production. The only Bengal is being produced.

They had no intention of stopping production it was a supply chain problem.
@@carmas54 The unit was in production until the supplier of the aluminum body could not keep up with demand. On the other model the Bengal, Provan manufactures their own fiberglass body.

Everything is an "available upgrade". The stock must be a plain truck.
This unit is no longer in production Provan only makes the Bengal model at this time. Their supplier could not keep Provan supplied with the aluminum bodies in a timely fashion. As far as options it was an all diesel option and winches. All diesel meaning diesel cooktop, and diesel heating for heat and water.
@@TigerRVTraveler Now the best are vacum (Infusion) carbon sandwich. Alu is from the other century. Also easy to do by yourself.

I like every part of it except cassette toilet. I will definitely buy one with modified tank toilet. I like earth roamer.
In my unit I have a compostong toilet. I find that very convenient.
One experience with a rental vehicle and its traumatic US slide valve toilet tank system last year and I'm even more certain to install another Thetford cassette toilet in my present truck build. But why did the woman unscrew the outlet from the cassette before removing it ! A recipe for a mouthful of something very unpleasant!

I want one but all electric. INCLUDING the truck... You could use the new hummer ev... It would need to be beefed up in the suspension and maybe the brakes and probably have a slightly bigger battery installed to get any real range... But you could really make an awesome, all electric, adventure vehicle. You could drive for a few hundred miles, then park and camp for a few days. Utilizing the solar system to charge the truck too. The solar would obviously need to be upgraded too but I feel like it could really work...
Siberian are no longer in production. Only the smaller Bengals are made and demand for those is quite high. The weight of the camper and cost if all electric as well as the short range would not have much of an audience. Recently even the Federal government said that all electric Semi was not practical and suggested hydrogen. Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching. I'll have more adventures as soon as my knee replacements will allow.
@TigerRV Traveler I gotcha. Yeah I know it wouldn't be a very popular option. Too many people love the vroom vroom noises and would have a conniption. Lol. Plus the range wouldn't be the best. I was mostly just saying that I personally want one. Kinda sucks that this model has been discontinued tho. But i get it. And yeah. I've been saying for years that the trucking, mining, shipping, and other industries should use hydrogen. Mostly for quicker refilling. BEVs are great for a family car. Not so much for something that needs to run for extended periods and have very little to no down time. I've just personally wanted an all electric adventure vehicle similar to this for a while now and have been wanting some company to make one. I know it wouldn't be super popular at first but I feel like it would catch on eventually. Especially if there was a way it could be charged fairly efficiently entirely off of solar while you camp or even have the range extended slightly with them while you drive... But those are my dreams I guess... Anyways, I hope everything goes well with your knee replacements. I hope you have a good recovery and that they help whatever problems you had before. I thought the Siberian was discontinued?
It is discontinued due to shortages in obtaining the coach body. This video was posted just to show what Provan did in the past. Now they only produce the Bengal. There is a demand for the Siberian and the Malayan but I doubt they will be resurrected.

Better bathroom than the Earthroamers. I like it. Shame they aren't producing them anymore.
Provan was a victim of their own success. They had so many orders that delivery was over a year.

На асфальте, прицеп лучше, в грязи ЭТО утонет. По снегу не поедет, в -30 жоп.. примерзнет к очку. Солнечные панели нифига работать не будут на низком солнце и запорошенные снегом. Печки на дровах нет. Это не Сибирь- это калифорния.
The interior finishes show why the Earthroamer costs more. Whether you think it's overpriced or not, you'd choose it over this if you could afford it.
You are correct, but the price difference is staggering. Siberian are no longer produced but when they were the price was $225,000, a far cry form the Earthroamer $750,000 at the time.
@@TigerRVTraveler People pay over a million dollars for a class A, only to keep it on the pavement of an RV resort. At least in the "overpriced" category with the earthroamer you get your money's worth. It's completely autonomous. And I bet if we broke down the parts that make it we would find it's a luxurious tank in comparison to the others.
@@1nhonho Most humans cannot afford $1,000,000 anything, let alone a vehicle. No doubt the Earthroamer has better materials, but for the price of a Tiger the working man can get off pavement without breaking the bank.
@@TigerRVTraveler Agreed. But they can purchase what they can afford without criticizing what they can't afford. Or suggesting it isn't worth the money. That was my point. That people will spend even more what an earthroamer costs on rigs that offer less.
@@1nhonho I agree one should buy whatever they find comfortable. If I could afford an Earthroamer I would seriously consider it. The Tiger materials do not have near the same specs as the Earthroamer as far as materials used. Just enjoy what one has.
