I live here in the Phillipines in metro manilla it is amazing I am from Hot Springs Arkansas it is amazing here ig you want any information I will be glad to take video or share anything with you
You want a modern world, go to Philippines. You want untouched cultural lifestyle, go to Philippines. You want outdoors, beaches and resorts, you have a choice among 7,200 islands or more. Anything you want to do, adventure in the outdoors and beaches, it's all for you to take in just 30 mins flight time from modern civilization. It's more fun in the Philippines, and this is a no shitter!
Metro manila is super huge i noticed so many tree's between the buildings and outside the cluster of skyscrapers looks so green and spacious.. metro manila got so many huge malls and i think where mall of asia is located there are few casino's and most of the condominiums and hotel buildings there are swemming pools on the roof top
I'm curious to know when people say they are homesick -- is it the place or the people you're connected to? Without family, what do you like about Manila that other cities don't have? Hated Manila but love the provinces and islands.
Yeah they have a lot of casinos in metro manila specially in okada and solaire, city of dreams, resorts world manila, pagcor, golden dragon fugo casino...
Thank you guys for considering my request to react on the metro manila skyline. Phezz is correct to surmise on 2:58 that that what he pointed by the cursor is actually a fountain at the Luneta or Rizal park.
Crazy how there's a bunch of buildings in the foreground then there's a bunch of other buildings way in the background. Definitely not the Manila I left in the 80's.
Resorts World belongs to Genting Group, a Malaysian conglomerate (remember Genting Highlands guys?) So are Resorts World Singapore, Resorts World Vegas and many places more in the World.
Trivia: that was originally the moat that surrounded the walls of Intramuros during the Spanish period. The Americans then decided to reclaim the area and turn it to originally training grounds until it became a golf course today
For some unknown reason, Philippines is so America and South Korea mixed together. If you had time to check out Seoul and then New York, Imagine combining Seoul and New York and it will look Somewhat similar to Manila.
Can’t wait to retire 3 years from now there in the Philippines. I’ve been living here in the US for 33 years. I love NY but no matter what I miss Philippines. Homesick I guess
Before the Pandemic I was there for a month vacation. I love hanging out in Makati & BGC. Lots of Bars & clubs. You should visit Philippines, we have the beach & the bitches, mountains, rivers, volcanoes, Forests, Lakes, Bays & the funny People
I think this clip only half of metro manila business districts. Where is the entertainment city in Pasay and Parañaque (Casinos like Okada, Solaire, City of Dreams etc.. in Aseana City) and at Quezon City (Libis, Eastwood), Filinvest city in Muntinlupa, McKinley Hill, and Newport City (Resorts World Manila and Casinos) BUT this is so amazing clip!!!
Manila is so different, since I was in college in the 80’s. You can see how progressive with all the skyscrapers; but sadly there are still millions of my fellow Pinoys who live under the poverty line.
8:59 is an American Cemetery for those who died in WWII located at Bonifacio Global City, formerly Fort Bonifacio also formerly known as Fort Mackinley during the american colonization.
I love to see how humans can build such hugh cities and spectacular buildings. I'm just amazed how other countries have much advanced powerhouse cities.
Thank you for reviewing a video of our Metro Manila Skyline. As our government plans it, majority if not all of corporate towers will be at New Clark City, You might want see it other videos.
@3:12 that could be Luneta Park, where you'll find the Jose Rizal monument and near that to its left is the American Embassy. I used to curate for a small museum beside it.
Most of the high rises buildings in metro manila are not glassy look building because of the typhoons or super typhoons during rainy or wet seasons, remember super typhoon haiyan/yolanda
Hi to both of you thanks for showing how you appreciate the beauty of part of philppines, just try the other side of philippines here in south here in Iloilo City Philippines,Where you can also astonish the beautiful city and business park of Iloilo City ☺️
I am a Pilipino American . Never been to the Philippines. I live in San Jose, California . Afraid to fly with an airplane . Nice showing the philippines
Yes, there are big casinos in the Manila located at Entertainment City beside Aseana City and Mall of Asia Complex, a dedicated district meant to compete with Las Vegas and Macau. Current players are Okada Manila, City of Dreams Manila and Solaire Resort & Casino. Another huge one is located nearby just across the airport called Resorts World Manila. They're building another Resorts World property in the Entertainment City. The last of the four awarded operators in the area. There are smaller government-operated casinos in regional cities too called Casino Filipino.
Most of the videos shown is located on ortigas only in particular. If they show the Buildings at the bay you might blown away of how lots of buildings pop up or have been build Or was been build
that nice looking park you saw is the cemetery of heroes. My uncle who was president of the Philippines was buried there as he was declared a national hero
That's not a court. That's the famous dancing fountains in Rizal Park. The most beautiful attraction at night where fountains dances in rhythm with lights and music. Rumors said it was built by same company who build the one in Italy.
intramuros is the old manila city (spanish fort) the golf course snakes around the walls, great little course , I play it a lot, I was even married there too.
Some old buildings and the streets in national parks in manila Like manila post office, the manila national museums and the luneta park are architectural designed of American architecs and engineers, before ww1 and ww2, Philippines before is the territory of USA after spanish, american and Philippine war the battle of manila bay.

That "court" looking thing is actually a huge water feature/fountain which is one of the features of Rizal Park in the heart of Manila.
Thank you for your viewing metro manila citys

But now, since president duterte is president everything change also poverty of Philippines it was 27% at year 2016 bigchange 16% imagine...💝💝🙏
ph poverty rate recently is just 16%
It’s a good sign if it’s only 16%. But that’s a old one. It’s back now to 18.7% probably because of the pandemic.
The 4P's program for the poor have u heard of it...education is free nowadays so only the lazy ones can't finish college..
The first one you react is Manila only but this time it's a whole metro manila that is consist of 16 cities including Manila.
Putting helipads on top is more essential to businesses than a pool at the rooftop. Cuz of heavy traffic situation here in manila.
