    That big park in the start of the video is the Rizal Park while the cemetery is the Manila American Cemetery dedicated for Fil and American soldiers during WWII

Anything you want to do, adventure in the outdoors and beaches, it's all for you to take in just 30 mins flight time from modern civilization.     Metro manila is super huge i noticed so many tree's between the buildings and outside the cluster of skyscrapers looks so green and spacious.. metro manila got so many huge malls and i think where mall of asia is located there are few casino's and most of the condominiums and hotel buildings there are swemming pools on the roof top

      I'm curious to know when people say they are homesick -- is it the place or the people you're connected to? Without family, what do you like about Manila that other cities don't have? Hated Manila but love the provinces and islands.

    The Casinos are located in Aseana City, there are three major casino there. The City of Dreams, Solaire Hotel and Resorts and the Okada Manila.

      Don’t miss OKADA RESORT just nx to the Casinos. I’m trying to find DONALD TRUMP HOTEL but can’t locate it. Either the Trump Tower or Trump Hotel.

    Crazy how there's a bunch of buildings in the foreground then there's a bunch of other buildings way in the background. Definitely not the Manila I left in the 80's.

    Resorts World belongs to Genting Group, a Malaysian conglomerate (remember Genting Highlands guys?)
    So are Resorts World Singapore, Resorts World Vegas and many places more in the World.

      Trivia: that was originally the moat that surrounded the walls of Intramuros during the Spanish period. The Americans then decided to reclaim the area and turn it to originally training grounds until it became a golf course today

    That "court" looking thing is actually a huge water feature/fountain which is one of the features of Rizal Park in the heart of Manila.

    For some unknown reason, Philippines is so America and South Korea mixed together. If you had time to check out Seoul and then New York, Imagine combining Seoul and New York and it will look Somewhat similar to Manila.

    Can’t wait to retire 3 years from now there in the Philippines. I’ve been living here in the US for 33 years. I love NY but no matter what I miss Philippines. Homesick I guess

    Before the Pandemic I was there for a month vacation. I love hanging out in Makati & BGC. Lots of Bars & clubs. You should visit Philippines, we have the beach & the bitches, mountains, rivers, volcanoes, Forests, Lakes, Bays & the funny People

    I think this clip only half of metro manila business districts. Where is the entertainment city in Pasay and Parañaque (Casinos like Okada, Solaire, City of Dreams etc.. in Aseana City) and at Quezon City (Libis, Eastwood), Filinvest city in Muntinlupa, McKinley Hill, and Newport City (Resorts World Manila and Casinos) BUT this is so amazing clip!!!

    The video are skyline of all cities that make up of metro Manila(Pasig cbd, makati cbd, bgc, etc). The other video I believe is only of Manila city.

    Manila is so different, since I was in college in the 80’s. You can see how progressive with all the skyscrapers; but sadly there are still millions of my fellow Pinoys who live under the poverty line.

      It’s a good sign if it’s only 16%. But that’s a old one. It’s back now to 18.7% probably because of the pandemic.

    Putting helipads on top is more essential to businesses than a pool at the rooftop. Cuz of heavy traffic situation here in manila.

    @3:12 that could be Luneta Park, where you'll find the Jose Rizal monument and near that to its left is the American Embassy. I used to curate for a small museum beside it.

    Most of the high rises buildings in metro manila are not glassy look building because of the typhoons or super typhoons during rainy or wet seasons,
    remember super typhoon haiyan/yolanda

    Yes, there are big casinos in the Manila located at Entertainment City beside Aseana City and Mall of Asia Complex, a dedicated district meant to compete with Las Vegas and Macau. Current players are Okada Manila, City of Dreams Manila and Solaire Resort & Casino. Another huge one is located nearby just across the airport called Resorts World Manila. They're building another Resorts World property in the Entertainment City. The last of the four awarded operators in the area.
    There are smaller government-operated casinos in regional cities too called Casino Filipino.

    Most of the videos shown is located on ortigas only in particular. If they show the Buildings at the bay you might blown away of how lots of buildings pop up or have been build

    that nice looking park you saw is the cemetery of heroes. My uncle who was president of the Philippines was buried there as he was declared a national hero

    That's not a court. That's the famous dancing fountains in Rizal Park. The most beautiful attraction at night where fountains dances in rhythm with lights and music. Rumors said it was built by same company who build the one in Italy.

    intramuros is the old manila city (spanish fort) the golf course snakes around the walls, great little course , I play it a lot, I was even married there too.

    Some old buildings and the streets in national parks in manila Like manila post office, the manila national museums and the luneta park are architectural designed of American architecs and engineers, before ww1 and ww2, Philippines before is the territory of USA after spanish, american and Philippine war the battle of manila bay.

    I'm a Filipino from boracay Island and currently living in Manila...
    Im still amuse how Manila transformed... The rise of glassy buildings are to many along edsa and any where.. So many projects such as express ways, trains, subways, bridges and airports...
    I can't believe how fast Manila is growing....
    I think the government want Philippines to be the top of tourism destination is Asia.
    That's my opinion.... Because we have the lowest arrivals of tourist in Aseans countries...
    Soon Manila will be beautiful like Dubai and Singapore because in Manila bay they have many reclamations for new cities arise on the ocean...

    We also have integrated casinos in manila. RESORTS WORLD MANILA, SOLAIRE RESORTS CASINO, OKADA, CITY OF DREAMS and 2 casinos NUSTAR CASINO AND EMERALD CASINO soon to open in Cebu city.

    Yes there are casinos but the greatest one is OKADA not just to play in OKADA but if you want to relax and and enjoy …but I am pretty sure it’s so expensive (never been there)!
