Sabah, Malaysia was once part of the Philippine territory, and so, there are still a lot of Muslim Filipinos living there today. My friends and I visited Kota Kinabalu a few years back and it was so refreshing to visit to a country where you can speak Tagalog freely anywhere. During our island hopping, we were the only Filipinos in the group (the rest were Chinese and Koreans) and the Filipino tour guide asked us: "Why are you here? We have more beautiful beaches back home!" :) So true, nothing compares, in all modesty.
Well you should be ashamed when that Filipino guy asked you that. That's the problem with Filipinos with some money to spend travelling. Instead of exploring their own country, they chose to explore other countries. Help the country by touring and exploring our own beautiful places here.
@@vomitingconfetti7187 You should know me before you judge me, when you said I should be ¨ashamed¨. I have been to almost all the beaches in the entire country, want some proof? In reference to the rice terraces, the tribe have quite the reputation as well as the terrain, that is why it was able to thrive without the reach of colonization for a long time
There is a part of Hinatuan Enchanted River where swimming's prohibited because of erosion and it's roped off. The rest is ok to bathe in and explore. It's not only the river that people come to see but the over-all surroundings and forest cover are magical as well. It's a very well-maintained sanctuary. It's my favorite of these '7 wonders'.

Just a piece of advice the best time to visit Banaue Rice Terraces is on the months of April/May or October/November..those were the greenest season of the ricefield..because the rice is not yet in time for harvest..
Chocolate Hills is called such not because it’s made of chocolate but because of its color. In the rainy season, the grass blanketing the hills in the Philippines gives them a soft and lush appearance. While in the summer, the vegetation dies off and turns to a chocolatey brown hue, giving them the name Bohol Chocolate Hills.
zambales hiking trails very underrated. After mount pinatubo blew, they changed the lanscaped which blows my mind when i see it now its perfect for overlanding adventures. Also if you can rent a motorcycles, the drive through mountains of Baguio is one of the best and it gets cooler as you up the mountains. Alaminos city is my hometown. The hundred Island i must say no matter many times you go there is always something new in those islands.
Just buy a Nikonos underwater camera if you want to take photographs underwater. For video, you can buy a less expensive GoPro that you can attach to your divemask or on a special handle.
We do island hopping in Pangasinan. You just have to rent a private boat and ask them to bring you to a private island or an island that is not popular to tourist.
Mount Pinatubo is also now an epic wonders of the Philippines after the eruption in 1991, now it turned into a wonderful Rocky Mountains around the vicinity that people are now visiting to witness. I just seen it on Yourube 2 days ago. It’s really wonderful.
There are many co-species of lionfish, zebrafish, firefish, and turkeyfish, of the Pterois genus. They are native in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean but invasive to the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. They are normally encountered in the Philippines and the other local species are not at risk from them.
Most of Our Places here in the Philippines was declared by UNESCO world heritage, a protected sites as part of conservation efforts. That's explain why main modern cities and urban landscape are crowded.
you can also react to some vloggers already stayed here in the Philippines like "Becoming Filipino" Making it Happens, Juicy Vlog and Fighter boys and a lot more🙂 so you can see that place exactly🙂♥️ thank you so much🙂
Yah lionfish are invasive species that spread so quick that some people get paid to hunt them since they decimate the aquatic habitat that also help maintain the reefs. In Florida I think they get paid $5-$6 a pound. They usually use spears to catch them and it doesn’t matter if they’re killed or not. They will make fillets out of them and supposedly they are delicious. I haven’t tried so I can’t confirm that.
Hey, The commodity, I really loved your reaction videos about Philippines, wish you could visit the country too and try our culture. Wish we could meet you along the way
The rice terraces are more than 100 years, they are roughly 2000 years old. Making that landscape on a mountain range by hand will take more than a hundred years.
The Tubbataha Reef is among the top 5 largest coral reefs in the world. It is truly spectacular there as it is protected by UNESCO and was declared a heritage site. It is not easily accessible yet avid foreign divers make the effort to dive there... that alone says a lot.
You guys should definitely go to PALAWAN and visit PUERTO PRINCESSA underground river it’s once in a lifetime experience you’ll ever have because it’s for your eyes only once ur inside it’s breathtaking different kinds of limestone formations(been there)and of course the Banahue (ifugao)rice terraces in BAGIOU

It is called CHOCOLATE HILLS because during the rainy season the hills turn brown and muddy and the grass don't sprung until the early months of summer
The reason it is called the Chocolate hills is because they turn brown when it's dry season and turns green when it's rainy season. or maybe the other way around I'm not sure rlly
Chocolate hills had it's name because on summer it becomes chocolate colored or brown, because of the grass leaves drying, and not because it's made of chocolate...
The lionfish is a native species in the Philippines or specifically the Indo-Pacific... what happened in other countries' oceans like in the Atlantic is that some irresponsible pet owners could've released the lionfish into the waters they do not belong to, thus making them an invasive species there. The Pacific is home to so many animals immune to its toxin, whilst in the Atlantic, only a few like the murray eels which also live in the Pacific, could prey on the lionfish.
The Lion Fish is not a problem in the Philippines because they are native to the tropical waters,, the problem started when they started importing the lion fish salt water aquarium pet.. they dispose to waters in Florida that it become a top of food chain in your coral system.
Regarding the lion fish thing. They’re only a menace in the Atlantic Ocean cause they’re invasive there. They’re native to the pacific and Indian Ocean so it’s not a problem.
The river that we swam at when i was a child is now a creek it is sad but its also where i almost died we were close to the waterfall i got carried by the currents
Lionfish in PH was so voracious in appetite that they eat and consume so fast a lot of small and juvenile fishes in great numbers. Lionfishes also reproduce so fast and that resulted in wiping out the big population /school of small fishes before they could repopulate reefs.
