- Episode 118: It's time to test yet another brand of repacked baseball wax packs! This time, it's Vintage Mystery Packs (www.vintagemysterypacks.com). These cost around $90 for a box of 24 packs - each pack with 10 cards apiece.
Will this produce some home runs? Or will was this a foul bunt with two strikes? You be the judge!
I can't believe the quality of those Rookie Cards! Those are some big names!
Decent cards and fun vid
Enjoy the Video !!! Nice box !!! Merry Christmas !!!!
I know Paul Rueschel through my old job. I also had his younger brothers as math teachers in jr. high and high school! All the Reuschel brothers are pretty awesome!
Started out rough but not bad in the end
The 1977 Topps Lou Brock should have been "sleeved"! You went passed two "Hall Of Famer hits," Tony LaRussa, and "Goose" Gossage! These cards deserve more respect.....
After the first few packs it looked bleak, like it'd be nothing but junk wax and commons..... then the Canseco rookie shows, and then a 😮WINFIELD rookie? The Baines rookie was icing on the cake. Very nice.
And don't underestimate that 1977 Lou Brock. That was is last MLB card.
His last card is 1979 Topps
@@AC1984-e9d You are correct - my mistake.
Fun watching you rip those! I wish we could all agree on a definition of vintage though…..
That was a great first half. I can't wait for part 2
Wow, based on how things were going I was NOT expecting that Canseco rookie, and then it got even better.
Knives are cool, but a small pair of hobby scissors would work much better.
Looking forward to the next dozen for sure!! I thought the Canseco was going to be the big hit too.....nice pulls!!
Damn look at all the repackaged wax in the past several years. I wish I'd have thought of it. I know people say, "Oh wow you pulled a x or y or z, great finds." But in reality, unless you get a card PSA 10 maybe 9, You pay $100 a box for cards that are worth $50 or less. It's a marketing scheme to make money and wish I'd have though of it. Some repacked product is worse than others for sure. I guess it's the thrill of what's inside.
Mystery packs of my crap is what it should be called.
Nothing big in the first pack? I guess this guy doesn’t know baseball for crap. Mike piazza is a hall of famer
Piazza happens to be one of my favorite players. That said, that 96 Flair Powerline card is not really considered much of a hit, as you can nab one on eay for less than $1. But you are right, when it comes to more modern cards (post 1990), my knowledge is not the best. I tend to love the vintage!
@@blastfromthepastvintagecards Doesn't know baseball for crap? He was saying the names and the years of every single card and player! That shocked me more than the cards he got!
