Sending prayers to the patients on this episodes! I hope that man with an addiction gets the help he needs, has a happy and healthy life! I hope that little girl finds out what is wrong with her and has a happy and healthy life too
This episode was so informative, heart touching, heart warming and reminds us how we need to be very appreciative of the medical field and those AWESOME people who dedicate their lives to help us the best they can. 😷🤕💖👏Thank you one and all.
Some of the elderly don’t come to emergency because they don’t want to impose and take up space that someone else may need. Just the way they’re wired. Don’t hold it against them.
In my case, it has nothing to do with taking up space. I live in America and the medical field has gone way down hill. I have a fear of being mistreated. I love the way they really care for the patients in this hospital.
@@debbieschultz9768 Same here. I was born female, and medical mysogny is a HUGE problem in the U.S. Too many doctors chalk any and all problems to being a 'female problem' and then they die. I'm terrified of that happening to me. Not to mention how bloody expensive it is there. Health should never be for profit. People shouldn't die because they can't afford their insulin or asthma medications. Its absurd.
I was taken from my care home to the ER by ambulance last fall. It was much like this. Completely full, staff overwhelmed, and every patient assigned to the EMTs who who brought them in for monitoring. Even though i was diagnosed with pneumonia , they had to send me home with lots of meds because every hospital bed was full.
It's heartbreaking that he had to leave with such a serious infection just because they couldn't administer his Subutex at the hospital. Given that there is a worldwide opioid epidemic, any hospital should be able to do that for incoming patients.
Hi everyone it's Maryanne from the UK i know what it's like to be in and out of hospital because I'm always in and out of hospital I have been ever since I was born because I've got long term health issues from being born premature and I've got a very big phobia of needles I have emulator cream that's the name of the numbing cream that is little 2-year-old girl is having on so she won't feel the horrible needle going in that is what I have but now I'm waiting to have I pick line put in long line because I can't have any more cannulas I hope this little girl gets better soon
The old chap not taking his Metformin is getting diabetic neuropathy in his legs. I feel people need more medication counselling. As a Staff nurse & pharm technician I did this a lot in tbe hospitals I worked at.
Other hospitals are also full or dont have an A&W ward, and for those with colds ect, doctors/gp surgeries are refusing to see many people now and lots of doctors are leaving due to being overworked and no funding from the government. my surgery manager told me that they get 105 pounds each year to use for each patent, which is nothing. Its all broken, because the past goverment in power for over 10 years gave all the money to their friends in high places and sell parts of the NHS to private companies. I'm quite a positive person, but I dont think it will be fixed in the next 10 years :(
Agreed. Unless you were taught about the dire side effects of a certain medicine and you're experiencing one of those side effects. I'm talking about "black box" warnings, allergic reactions & etc.
@@spiritthingw I don't know where you live, but where I do, you can't just " go and see your doctor", they aren't open 24/7. And it's possible that we have a different idea of what " severe reaction" means. I mean life threatening reactions. Was an ICU nurse for 19 years and saw severe reactions. A severe, life threatening reaction means you need to go to an ER .
In South Africa we have government hospitals & clinics. We get 2 or 3 months of meds at the clinic where we have urine, BP & other tests done as well. If you need to see a clinic dr they make an appointment but admittedly it can take a while to actually get a date. But for emergencies we have government ambulances that take you directly to Emergency. We obviously have private drs & hospitals if you have Med Aid.
It's probably because she is so chatty, and that gets on my nerves. Humor is important, even hugs. But not all the time. When I worked in ICU, I needed to stay focused sometimes. She needs more awareness of the situation.
He didn't even put on gloves to touch her while talking about taking the proper precautions. What precautions?? What a clown! Does he WANT to get sick? 🤣
I have never seen a nauseated toddler who would take that nasty pedalyte but I have never seen a nursing toddler so nauseated they wouldn't take the breast. I don't blame Caitlyn's mother for not nursing her because it is not the norm. I blame society for pushing early weaning and shaming mothers who do nurse toddlers. My baby got a deadly rotavirus that filled the pediatric wards and ERs that Spring, but she stayed adequately hydrated with good glucose levels through the worst of it because she pretty much wanted to nurse 24/7. They get so little milk at a time because of the sudden demand which makes it easy on the stomach, and they get Mom's antibodies to the virus and her immune system is more experienced than her baby's. Nursing toddlers are less likely to die from diarrhea which is the number one non-accidental killer of toddlers. People always act like a mother is some kind of weirdo for nursing a child Caitlyn's age but if she were still nursing I guarantee the baby would still want to nurse just for the comfort.
I live near the QMC in nottingham, and its always on black alert, and its only gonna get worse if the NHS and these amazing nurses and doctors get no help.
Oh, I can't when little ones say "all done" when they're hurting 😭😭😭
That was too cute. A friend's child would say, "All gone." when she meat "All done." It was so cute.

Wow. They actually take care of their health care workers. Shocking. Never would happen here in the US. Literally.
Such a blatantly false statement

Air of joviality is often tinged with the pungence of gruesome death. Cheers!
Why can’t they redirect the ambulances to other hospitals nearby if there is an overflow? Also send home the ones who r just there for a cold

I think it could help if the doctor asked if they like feeling that bad and having to go to the hospital. If the answer is no, take your meds.
Some you have to come off slowly, that can cause a lot of problems.
@karenshadle365 go see your Dr at the same time, especially if it's a severe reaction.

Amazing job under so much stress ! But You really shouldn’t risk going to an isolated contagious patient without a mask on atleast …
bonita needs a helping hand that also has her skills so that way can lessen the stress. D: She is doing great.
Does Jane get on anyone else’s nerves besides mine ?

lol sometimes
I get the feeling she’s quite attention seeking. She likes being centre of attention and that’s why she’s happy to do the job for nothing.
